tell by the massive amount of effort we went through for that intro. Hope you guys enjoyed that by the way. Today's puzzle is
something of another world, probably one of the
craziest looking puzzles, I've ever laid my eyes
on and one of the rarest puzzles that I own. So this puzzle is known
as Mach Nigma this is made by a company in France by the name NKD, these pieces are CNC'd,
laser cut and 3D printed and then put together by
hand by a guy by the name of Christof Larong. This thing looks amazing,
it feels amazing, it's exactly what you would
want in a puzzle box I think. This is the perfect puzzle box, it has all those fulfilling you know trinkets and knobs and
that whimsical mystery that comes along with just even looking or holding this box, which
is why I'm so stoked. I haven't been this excited
for a puzzle in a really long time, I can't wait
to get to solving it. Hopefully we do, if you

video it actually helps. Comment below, subscribe all that stuff and without any further ado, lets solve the Macha enigma puzzle box. (whistling) I'm not gonna drop it. Wow. Look at this thing. A work of art, I've got cogs
falling all over myself here. Gotta get the time wrap for this one. Okay so this thing is quite exquisite, I thought about also having
like a multiple camera angle but I think top down is gonna be the best to see sort of the what's going on 'cause
I'm going to be working on the top sections for
the most part anyways. This thing ran about 2300
euros which is roughly about 2300 US Dollars plus about $500 of import taxes. I'm hoping it's for it, 'cause a lot of these
pieces are 3D printed, initially when I saw this on the side, I thought these this is all metal, but they're 3D printed. Still quite ornate and beautiful, I don't know which side to start on and there are no clues
or hints available to me. So kinda just going into
this picking a side, and I like this side 'cause
it seems like the most interesting, it's got all these really cool things on it here. O man. So I don't want to force anything with look how cool that is. You can move that one thing and the whole thing moves here. Yeah I feel like if I force that
somethings gonna break. Okay so this wants to go outwards but it's stuck, it keeps
bouncing up against this wheel here. So that doesn't shift in anyway. Okay, what about this? Look at this. Oh Okay that's just like on click. (relaxing music) Okay that's getting blocked by that. Okay, so maybe Roughly there's about ten to fifteen moves depending on apparently how you see the moves done. Man this is cool looking though isn't it? All right lets start on this side here, we've got a bunch of symbols here. (relaxing music) Ooo we've got a hand, we've
seen that hand before. Here's a lock, there's like
a little lock symbol here. (relaxing music) So these do move. (relaxing music) I mean maybe that hand should point to wherever the hand is pointing. It's pointing this way. Where is pointing to, wait
what is the hand pointing too? It's pointing to. I don't know what it's pointing to. Oh here we go, ooh look at that, that's something, okay. Doe side open too? That's a negative but
this definitely opens and why is that? Why does that? No clue. Okay what about this now? Oh, aah right, wow because that moved now
this part goes through. O my God that's cool. Okay all right. That's two things happened. O look at that lifts this, so this wheel aah, now this wheel spins and what does that mean? Why are we spinning this wheel? O so now that this can move, So now that moves, was that mean? So that's stuck there now, okay. O man that's so cool. O this one here needs
to move out of the way. Can this one move now? Yes it can, it can move now, therefore this one moves and because this one moves what does that do, what's that that makes this one loose, I think. Yeah definitely takes this outa here. (relaxing music) Okay I don't wanna break anything, no force required. Look at this. O wow, wow What else is holing this back, this giant wheel, O this here. This seems like the last
puzzle I've gotta solve here Right. Is this just random? Do I have to point them somewhere? Not sure what to do and I have to kind of. This is the only one if I'm
not mistaken that's like that one's unlocked, that one seems to be unlocked as well. This side is unlocked and this side is unlocked, so the only side that is
still locked is this side I'm guessing that's where the opening is, which is going to be sick when that opens, but we definitely have to, we definitely have to find
a way to unlock all of them, maybe O these are all the different sides, you have a side with the hand, these are all the different sides, right but what do the different
sides coincide to? What do they mean? So lets take for instance the hand, that's the side with the hand, is there any shape on this circle here that resembles something you would
find on a side with the hand? What we got here? Square Hexagon, like a triangle
and like an almost triangle, and where they suppose to point to, okay. I mean lets take another one here, what's this one here? That's that what does
that look the most like? I would bet. You know what that shape
kinda looks like this, kinda looks like that
little, is that a hexagon? I'm bad at Geometry. That shape there, you know what I mean? The shape with the cogs is a square, so that looks like the cogs. So that would make this a square. What's this one? That's with the two bars,
what does that look like? The two bars. Two bars looks more like,
what's that look like? What shape out of a triangle and another triangle. Triangles are here O What's that side? Okay that's this one. Right, it looks like that? Okay look I'm just gonna
go for I think this one is gonna be this and I think this is gonna be a triangle, if not we swap those two
and we see what happens. That's gonna be a no. Lets put that one to a triangle then, put this one to that, (relaxing music) still a no and they all wind up. O this one. Which one are we missing? We've got five, we've got four shapes maybe that's the hand, that's the line. What combination haven't we tried yet? This is the triangle, no this is the open thing. We really had to figure out what's what. I do believe that this
opening here which is this. I mean it has this shape right. The star shape which is what you find right there. So that I'm pretty confident on. This one resembles a
square more than anything, which is with the cogs
and stuff, so I think that's gotta be pointed to the square. This one the two lines, I
don't know what that would be? Out of all of those symbols,
which would that be? Would that be, we got
a lota triangles there, maybe that one is the triangles? So one with the This one here, that one
is gonna be the triangles we're gonna put that on a triangle. So lets say we got this one,
this one, this one figured out this one here which shapes to we see here? I think lions right? That makes sense and
the last one will have to be that open ended sort of V-shape. Still no. So where's the hand one again? It's over here. So what does this one look most like, - what kinda shapes we got going on here - for the most part I don't see any shape, I don't see a V, I don't see the triangle and I don't see the lion. This is tough, everything
else was kind of a breeze but this is a tough one. I really have to figure out why. Clearly that's lock, right
which is connected here like all of these have
to sort of slide into these ones her and I'm sure there's a hole you know on each one of these that kinda lines up somehow, once you turn it to the right thing, which is super clever. Just got to figure out which is which, and how do I know which is which? Is there any clue on
this that will lead me to believe that they are - and if there's a little symbol hidden somewhere, on one of these sides? - Still looking for like a little symbol. (Upbeat music) O, this is opening now? O hello. Okay. What's does mean? Look at that. That is cool, that is very cool okay, but Okay See that's not moving,
because this one's sorta stuck in a way, maybe I had it
before now it will unlock, if I find the right combination. Okay lets just try this again. - We just take a second to
appreciate the craftsmanship of this thing, this is pretty intense. - I feel like I'm in a
movie The Time Machine or was it The Time Traveler
or The Time Machine? - I think its The Time
Machine, kinda looks like it. - Kinda looks like a
little time machine, yeah. - Okay the only way this is opening is if I figure out,
'cause there is no clue maybe there is, maybe
there s gotta be a clue. There's gotta be a clue as
to why these symbols are here and how they match up
to the different sides. The only like clue I could
see is like this one, which is the circles
here which is this one looks like a square. Right there's five Wait, so there's five So it's one, two, three,
there's six sides here Why are there only five of these things? Which side isn't included? Is it this one? Right that one is clearly this one, right? This symbol here is clearly this one, this symbol here is clearly that one with the two sides which is here. This side. So that's these two done. That symbol is clearly
the one with the hand and this one is clearly this one, so this one is either this or which would make more sense would be this side. Yes it would make much more
sense, yes, yes, yes yes Right okay, so therefore. What does that mean? Here's the other thing Here's the other thing O all of theses symbols have lions right, so this is smart. One, two, three, four, five. That's it. It's the order in which they were solved. So the last one was five, this is correct. Four, which one was four? I need to look here, This was definitely not one, one was I think this one over here. I think. - No, I don't remember. - So one would be, that
makes so much more sense. It's like a combination safe, so one So we got one, now at two So once that was open which
side did we open next? It was this one I believe right? The lions. So the lions, two. This was five - yeah. - Five, then we got one two So were missing three and four. So it's one of these
two, it's either three and four. Or, Yes. - So now what? - Wow, look at this - NKD puzzle mechanisma, and then inside we got a little gift. - There's like no right
way to set this down. Well I guess it's a key. I'm guessing its a key,
what's this key for? Or is it? - no its wrapping there's
no key hole anywhere. - Thoroughly impressed. I mean come on, like this whole thing here figuring that out was
the greatest thing ever. That was the greatest thing ever, figuring out that there
were one, two, three, four, five that there were sides
and not just random shapes, that blew my mind, which makes logical
sense, so lets put that O man this is so cool, and then that lever at the end. That right there, with this little you pull this here Ready? Like that is so cool. Right can we get this together? So that's gonna go there no matter what. We can twist these all we want. Right, I think next was this. What do we have as number four? I think it was this I believe. There we go, that goes there. Wow that's so cool. This closes up here and I do believe that we are at the very beginning. So freakin cool! O my God. Wow. So I went back into the
puzzle and I took this thing out because I believe
that this is just like a cool mechanism that I can
out together for you guys. (upbeat music) Okay and it's the last piece. There you have it ladies and gentleman. I have crafted whatever this is. (relaxing music) Its like a little steam punk arm, that I can grab things with? So it's not a key although
it looks like a key. It's a bit of a steam punk arm or bottle opener. So I can just grab things. Let me just Let me just grab things here, Yeah did it, there we go. There is my trophy. Pretty sweet. Well hot damn! Yeah just give me a second and we're good. Okay That was unintended, Macha Enigma amazing, I am thoroughly, thoroughly stoked about this whole puzzle, even that mechanism that they gave me which is kinda cool. This by the way is another
