make make sure you're still on the gold so I've been out here a while I'm just prospecting around found a good spot so been doing some digging and seeing some good color um it is a beautiful March day um seems like the weather's starting to turn so maybe we'll get some more different videos going and uh if there's anything you want to see uh any kind of uh any content that you want just let me know and I'll make it happen anyway for now I'm going to get after [Music] it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so test panning is very important got a pretty good hole going over here about every foot two three whatever you decide it's a good idea to take a pan and material out of there just make sure you're still on gold nothing worse than running equipment and working hard and then you're off the gold so test painting is very important and that's all I'm doing right now I'm looking for about I don't know 15 to 20 colors per Pan um keeps me happy happy enough I should say um so I'm going to go through this kind of quick I just want to see if I'm still on gold cuz on pretty good gold when it started and I test pan maybe half a dozen times and still on pretty good gold so I'm just trying to keep it up and then if there's no gold in this pan I'll go NorthEast Southwest in the hole and I'll find out where the gold went it's got to go somewhere and uh very important don't get ton of vision so there is still gold in this pan see if I can get you a good shot of it there is still gold in here but my quantity has severely diminished now I'm only seeing Oh I don't know five or six specs of gold in there 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 still pretty good gold so I'm going to keep digging but I'm going to maybe not go to the bottom just now and just keep going maybe the sides NorthEast Southwest try to figure out where the bulk of the gold has gone and it's it just keep running and then uh do a clean out and then uh then pack it up for the day Sun's starting to get low and I'm getting hungry you don't want the fat kid to be [Music] [Music] hungry and now we will clean it [Music] out yeah set up in the bushes today where the gold was here's what it is [Music] [Music] I'm going go turn the PO off [Music] so I thought I was in a pretty good spot lots of test panning and uh I just want to show you this mat I really hope the camera picks this up but before I even pull [Music] it I know it's hard to [Music] see but I got a feeling we did all right get you set back up just thought you might want to see before I even pulled the mat stay right there that's in the bucket don't him off like you were supposed to all right so this is probably about maybe 2 hours total run time I did Prospect quite a bit around you know there's a difference between a gold miner and a prospector prospector's looking for it Miner's found it he just wants more of it I'm a minor looks pretty good all right I got a paning station set up up a little higher we're going to move up there 2 hours of run time and that's what our concentrates down to I don't know half a pan of material [Music] let's see how this [Music] works [Applause] [Applause] yeah it should work I know this is all anybody cares about what's the Money Shop what's the gold good look like how much is it worth Gold Rush said yeah that's not real get over it this is the re of it this is how you gold mine in Idaho and this is the claims we can get to technically still wintertime mind you this can be done by absolutely [Applause] anybody looks like we're getting down to the Black Sands already and of course there's a lot a lot of garnets big ones might have to save these CR concentrates and dig them all out [Applause] later I hate panning you've watched my videos you know this but I'm out here it's sunny It is Well above 30° today and I like it a lot I'm ready for winter to be over I'm ready for dread Seasons to start opening up an interesting little piece of quartz there and it's just quartz leave her right there come over to the smooth side of my pan now [Applause] boy there's a ton of garnets in this [Applause] one little red ones [Applause] I know you're at home probably going just get all that black sand out of the way just throw it away there's a lot of fine gold in here black sand sticks to it and I'm by the Riverside probably do a better job at this at home usually I'm tired when I go home that's how I end up with 15 buckets full of concentrates in my barn cuz I get home eat sleep today was a good day I mean I only been out here I don't I was hanging out with some friends earlier wasn't getting any work done but seriously mining like not just shooting the with friends and looking at cool rocks probably actual mine and half hour or probably 3 and 1/2 3 and 1/2 hours like I said I prospected quite a bit before I got to where I was ready to set up and start mining that gold starting to pop up now I don't see any big chunkies but this claim is not known for big gold it's known for super fun mines [Music] [Applause] find stuff keeps trying to get [Music] away I'm going Zoom you in just so you can kind of see what I'm trying to deal with here a ridiculously thick black sand layer with a buttload of gold in it so that's why it's taking me so long really thick black Sands sometimes I can dance the gold not this time though too much fines normally at this point I would just out in the field put this in my Snuffer bottle and go home but I'm going to try and clean it up as best I can so the camera can get a good picture of it it's a fair amount especially for the amount of effort put in [Applause] now we're getting somewhere [Music] so that's what we're looking at for today do doing all right makes me happy so thus concludes another successful day of mining look how much material that's the hole always fill in your holes saves people from falling down guess Little Critters could get stuck too so today was a good day took me four trips to get out of here that just means I bring too much stuff the sun's getting low water levels Rising I think uh another week or two we won't be able to mine here spring runoffs about to start then maybe we'll start getting into some of the other claims start breaking out the dredges and some good videos are going to start popping up dredging is by far my favorite way shovels are dumb so anyway thanks for tagging along hope maybe you
