Solo Surviving with NO FOOD on an Island!

welcome to the channel guys today I'm attempting the 24 hour solo survival challenge so I've picked this small little island in the middle of the bay and I'm gonna be surviving here till tomorrow morning that's exactly 24 hours now there's no land animals that inhabit this island or sources of freshwater so there's gonna be a few little things that I'm allowed on this trip first being freshwater of course second of all I'm gonna have swag I'm not allowed to cut down all the native wood here so I can't really build myself a shelter so I'll just be sleeping in the swag at the end of the night now I've also got with me a single fishing rod with a squid jig on it I've also got myself a torch it's got myself a lighter if I catch it you know and lastly I have a knife my tits my Adreno knife just a single knife I'm gonna use this for everything it's nice and compact small so that's gonna be perfect I've just moored the boat out a little bit because the tides dropping and I don't want it to get beat but I've got this whole island to explore set up camp and see if I can survive to stay tuned and let's see if I actually have it in me come on the girl all right what do we got in here ventilation Oh welcome to the crib till done still made Oh wider pecker white sheet moms are gonna kill me all right so everything's set up I've got my water and a few ice blocks in there in case I catch something during the day just so it doesn't get rotten it's time to actually start collecting materials making things getting ready for the hunt so that's gonna be my hunting ground over there where the island ends when the tide drops hopefully I'll be after stingrays Shover no sharks weird pretty much anything I can find but I've only got a knife so I need to start making myself a spear or a weapon that I can use to catch my dinner all the butterflies but let's go find ourselves spheal so I've just discovered these red berries arms there's heaps on this plant here now I don't know what they are I can't identify them but generally in a chart the yard the danger colors are red black yellow that kind of stuff so these berries it's it's highly likely they can be poisonous so I'm not hungry enough to eat them yet but you never know what's gonna happen I can't believe it I pretty much walked halfway through the aisle and then I just never knew those this much Bush like I feel like I'm in the middle of the outback it's insane but just a little bit of history if you guys were wondering I'm pretty sure this is the island that they brought all the convicts that had like leprosy and other diseases because um no one wanted to be around them so they'd just chuck them on this island so it's pretty pretty spooky walking through here I found myself a pretty straight branch here am i chopping about there and that's gonna be perfect length for a spear I think we found that spear we can start to make this now okay my spear just got shortened by like half a meter that's not good [Music] so originally I was gonna Wan make a split maybe two splits and have a have a four-pronged spiel that I could shove some little sticks into open them up but after sort of analyzing this stick a little closer I can see that the woods a bit damaged and that there's been termites or something through it so I'm not gonna risk splitting it and I'm gonna sharpen it to one point Spears done now it looks super thick at the top but it's got the sharpest little point and if I make all this then it can just snap off so I'd like to keep the tip shot and then it goes pretty thick so that whole thing is gonna go straight through whatever I can catch only it's time get some water and head on down [Music] yeah there's something there I'll take that so just caught a bunch of soldier crabs I'm gonna eat them there's millions of them so I can just keep eating if you give me enough energy just to carry on the hunt I lost them all right just ahead of me there's a little baitfish getting smashed you'll see him all right here's all the bay fish hopefully there's something and hope there's got to be something in there spoken dan and take that one with me too all right well that took a lot of energy walking all the way down there and back so I seriously need to get some energy into me I've only collected these two out of the whole hunt so at the moment I'm not going to good now generally what I'd say is you know I'm not in a real life survival situation so I can just go home if I want but now the boats actually high and dry and the tides a long way out I can't go home until at least nighttime so this is real I have no food I have no transportation I have to collect and find and eat what I can on this island where I can walk too so the plan is I'll head down to the other end of the island collect some of the oysters that have been grown on the rocks and that should be enough to last me till the tide comes back up and with the tide should come something that I can kill you know I like food mmm [Music] jeez that one well the subtle colour quits and head back home by the time the tide came back up it was cold windy and lonely I seriously dunno Tom Hanks did it it's
