Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 First Fire-Up!!! part 1

hey all you little dummies out there this is the head big cold-blooded dummy and look what we got going on today we got the solo stove and we're cooking on the front burner now So today we're doing the first fire up of the solo stove this is the Yukon version it's a big sum I'm gonna nickname it the Heatilator this thing is the size of a washing machine anyways I took some old fence boards cut them down oh about 10 inches long and split them foreign and that's what I used I used about 15 small pieces to get the initial little fire going and then I just put in some old dried seasoned wood that I've been collecting for years nothing particular I used a little bit of newspaper or some paper down there and fired it up so it looks like we're already starting to get a little bit of the secondary burn on one corner it's only been going for about a couple maybe about less than five minutes now but I can feel the heat on that some so we got we ordered this on Saturday night it came on what day did it come it came we got it on Tuesday so we're in Northern California and it came from Utah so it came pretty quick and I did an unboxing video on this some a couple days ago and uh I was so impressed by all the I went ahead and ordered a whole bunch of other so um on my original first order I got the uh The Hub and I got the cast iron grill and I liked everything the quality I hadn't even fired it up yet and I liked it so much I went ahead and ordered I ordered me the uh the deflector and I ordered a griddle a cast iron griddle and then I ordered the the fire poker set with the tongs and I ordered a cover and some gloves I think that was it on this next on this second order that I anyways I'm in the gold I'm in the gold tier because I've spent over a thousand dollars yay me anyways we're gonna let this thing season um as I mentioned in my first video uh after we did the unboxing I took everything apart and I scrubbed it with uh um Dawn dish soap degreased everything real good and rinsed it off with water let it sit out and it everything dried and uh so now hopefully we won't get any fingerprints and we're just going to get a nice patina going here on the outside so I'm not planning on doing any big raging giant bonfires with this sumbitch uh I mostly got it just for some smaller fires and for cooking and uh so yeah so that's where we're at all right dummies I'll check back in with you in a little bit after this thing starts the season up a little bit all right this is the big dummy signing out Later Gators oh wait red say hi to all the little dummies out there oh hi all you little dummies quick around all right Later Gators
