Solo Motorcycle Camping in Monolith Floating Tent | Nature ASMR

Welcome to the first episode of 2024 Today we're exploring the bushlands of Victoria No destination in mind Just pure exploration This spot will work nicely with a new tent I'm excited to show you But first, let's get comfortable and relax with a quick lunch I'm so happy that the warmer weather has arrived But the heat get's exhausting when riding trails I love these IPA's This one is 6.5%! Cheers! The perfect beverage after riding on a warm day I love these little cans of Tuna & Beans They're packed full of protein So peaceful Time to set up the Monolith! This is a new tent that was sent to me by Exod Outdoor I've been so eager to set this up It's my first time so bare with me Not your standard tent This system doesn't rely on tent poles but an inflatable tube that acts as its structure You'll see what I mean Pretty clever huh! The tubes are well-constructed and feel robust Audio test The poles are carbon fibre and are quite light So far so good There are 4 straps all up 2 on each side We have liftoff! Just making sure it's as level as possible This is my neighbour, Jeff The bottom straps secure it down nicely It's surprisingly really solid! No mattress or sleeping pad is needed for this Time to test it out! Oh yes, it's comfortable I like it It's nice and cosy and well-made I could take a nap right now But not yet! We got work to do I really like that it has this storage compartment It acts as insulation too and is large enough to fit all of my riding gear Just in case Jeff gets any ideas and you can access everything from inside! I brought my summer bag along It's a +10ºC but packs down extremely small It'll get down to 16ºC tonight So i should be ok My lanterns need charging I'm going to take advantage of this new shelter and have a little snooze I love a 20 minute power nap That was relaxing I think i'm going to sleep well tonight I love the look of it What do you guys think? Half a car! I wonder what its story is The boat looks tempting I think there are a few of Jeff's mates in there though The mozzies are starting to come out Aka - Mosquitoes Time to start prepping dinner I enjoyed using the Firebox Nano last time It's a clever piece of kit No fires this time of year though. Only cookers allowed We're going to use the Metho burner It gets the job done nicely Let's check on the lanterns All charged! One of my favourite meals and it tastes so much better when camping It's so quiet! I'm going to relax in the Monolith and watch a movie Guess the name of the movie and I'll let you know the answer before we leave tomorrow Don't think too hard! Good Night Good Morning! I slept in! It's already 8.30 am It was so nice and dark in there I love a coffee every morning This little Magpie is trying to catch a Butterfly No luck Did you have a guess at what the movie was? It was Gladiator! Did you guess right?
