season of Discovery phase 3 is here and I'm going to show you everything you need to know to survive as a feral tank let's start off with the stat priority so in sunken Temple the bosses are two levels above us meaning we are going to want to try and hit the 6% hit cap if we can after that then we're going to be going on to strength then stamina giving us more health and then agility agility is actually quite useful for us feral tanks because it does actually give us armor Dodge and also some crit chance as well after that then we can just go for Pure crit chance and then a few other stats after that would be something like a pure attack power armor and Dodge percentage you can also go for things like feral attack power that you may see on some certain s so items moving on to the talent tree then of course most of this tree is going to be in feral and we're going to start off with 5 out of five in ferocity this is going to reduce the cost of a lot of our abilities when we are in feral and then onto the next one it's going to be five out of five into feral Instinct this is going to increase the threat we do by 15% which is obviously very important so we can hold aggro as a tank and reduce any chance enemies are going to detect us if we are in cap form and prowling we can put one into fi hide increasing the armor contribution we get from items by 2% and then going down onto the next one we can put two into feline SLI swiftness increasing our movement speed while outdoors in cap form and increasing our chance to dodge while in cap form by 4% if you're wondering about this this one in seasonal Discovery we can actually get that increase indoors and zooming around we can actually go into cat form if we need to and get around a lot faster imagine if a mob has run off as well we need to go and get it you know you can swap back and forth very quickly things like that as well feral charge causing us to charge an enemy immobilizing and interrupting any spell casting being cast for 4 seconds it is on a 15sec cool down and then three out of three and sharpened claws increasing our crit chance in bare form by 6% speaking of crit chance we're putting two out two into Primal Fury this is going to give us a 100% chance to gain additional rage whenever we do actually deal those critical strikes three out of three then going into predatory strikes increasing our melee attack power by 150% of our level of course we're going to be at level 50 so that will be 150 on there as well one out of one into fairy fire this is basically an attack we can use on our enemies to reduce their armor and therefore making them more vulnerable to our attacks we're going to put two out of two into Savage Fury increasing the damage by 20% on some viabilities and then five out of five into heart of the wild this is going to increase our intellect by 20% also increase our stamina when we're in bare form by 20% and strengthen cat form by 20% this of course as a tank is making us a lot stronger and then we can go into leader of the pack while in cat bear or dire bear form the leader of the pack increases range to melee critical chance of all party members by 3% and therefore we can take that to increase um our damage and also our party members now if you're doing Feral DPS I do advise that you don't take that hence then I advise the tank does take it if you're the main tank in the raid because otherwise it would be a waste of talents for everyone to take it and that is why I say that as a tank you should yet the Feral DPS shouldn't be we have got another 10 levels to go and I'm going to put these into Nature's grasp which we don't really care about but what we do want is the remaining Five Points to go into natural weapons increasing the damage you do of all physical attacks in all forms by 10% which is massive one thing you might think is what about furor well I don't think it is really necessary as a main tank it's a lot more beneficial if you're in cap form and you are shape-shifting regarding the runes then on the gloves I would say to go with lacerate this going to be one of our main attacks lacerating the enemy making them bleed over 15 seconds plus 20% weapon damage per existing application of lacerate causes a high amount of threat and it Stacks up to five times on the same time Target some people also do choose to go with mangle mangling the Target and causing them to take 30% additional damage from bleed effects um as well and will actually gain the benefits from claw and mole I do however like to go for lacerate skull bash on the legs giving a charge to a Target within 13 yards and bashing them interrupting their spell casting and preventing cast for two seconds do be aware however it does share a cooldown with feral charge up here on the chest we're going for survival of the fittest this is a great survival rune funly enough reducing the chance should be crit by 6% and reducing all damage taken by 10% which as a tank I think is you know need we say anymore on the waist the only option we really have is berserk when activated it causes your mangle and lacerate to hit up the three targets lacerate is going to cost no rage mangle in Bear to have no cooldown and reduces the energy cost of all your cat form abilities it is also going to clear the effect of fear and makes you immune to fear for the duration I love this ability on the feet it's going to be survival instincts giving us 30% of maximum health for 20 seconds after that the health is lost so in times of need where you need to get you know a bit more bulky and tanky we can use this in addition you generate five rage every time you dodge while in bare form 10 energy in cat form and 1% maximum man out will every in any other form so this is going be really good when we're dodging to get extra rage up so we can do more abilities going on to the new runes we've got then it's going to be improved bark skin on the head your bark skin can now be cast on allies as well no longer penalizes melee combat speed or spell casting timing can be cast while shape-shifted absolutely fantastic there which we can also use on our allies if needed for emergencies in there and lastly on the wrist it's going to be improved frenzy regeneration which can now be used in all forms or while not shape-shifted it now converts your active resource into Health every second for up to 10 seconds up 10 rage energy or 5% base mana and this is another really good ability for survivability as a tank but how does it all come together well let's have a look then it's all quite simple really in the rotation we're going to be using we want to use our demoralizing raw and keep this refreshed as much as possible first and foremost this is going to decrease our nearby enemy melee attack power by 30 and does last 30 seconds I want to keep it up as much as possible we're going to be spamming lerate as much as possible to get rid of all that rage you may also be using mangle if you are using mangle you'd put that here instead of lacerate of course and then with excess rage and especially for AOE we can use our swipe ability and that would be in between mangles if you taking mangle as well not lacerate and lastly it's going to be Ming as an extra off the global cooldown damage if you still do have excess rage after doing everything above in this rotation don't forget of course we've got other abilities like growl that we can use to taunt and your skull bash for interrupting Etc but as you can see here it really is quite a simple rotation and spec to be following even in Phase 3 of sod if you did enjoy this video guys let me know Down Below in the comments you can subscribe and and join the Discord where we have a really great and
