January and February are the coldest months of the year. I’ve gotten questions about how I protect myself against cold weather, so I'll introduce them. First, cold weather shoes. I love waterproof snow boots. Snow boots keep your feet dry and comfortable. I don't wear rain boots because they're cold and don't fit well. I’m packing with snow to block the wind. My next winter protection tip is the all-important sleeping bag. Starting this year, I’m using one from Brooklyn Outdoor Company. I like the features and design. Drinking coffee while listening to the sound of the wood stove and the river is something special. This is a dragon my daughter made with felt. It's very cute. I’m thankful to her for making it. I’m making ajillo with olive oil. I’m making it with mushrooms and lamb meat. The seasoning is simple store-bought spices. This bottle opener was given to me by a fan in Slovakia. I will treasure it. This neck warmer and spoon were also given to me by my fan in Slovakia. I'm really thankful to you. My final measure against the cold is this down jacket, which I’ve always worn. It’s made by a sewing factory specializing in down in Miyako City in Iwate Prefecture. As you can see, it’s made of flame-resistant materials good against sparks. It’s the Hayachine-Made Flame-Retardant Army Duck 4-Way Down Jacket. As you wear it, it will take on a vintage look. You can also remove the hood and sleeves and use it as a vest. In addition to the cold, this down jacket is the best for me because I use campfires. The key word for winter protection is feathers. I look forward to sleeping in a fluffy sleeping bag. I rarely edit when I'm camping, but the upload date was near this time. It's like a mobile office. The roasted sweet potato for breakfast is ready. Good night. Good morning.
