against the carbon dino so hey it's a good weekend here we're looking forward to snow going 3-0 and making it even better i i agree with you completely and you know we we said all along for the templars they just need to keep their chins up because they they played a tough preseason schedule against possibly two of the best teams in region three or in 3a with grantsville and morgan and and i think hopefully they'll see that they're they're going to be able to compete in that southern region get down into that 3a south region and they can uh yeah yeah they can compete like you said and they could possibly win that so well let's take a look at some of the other games that are being played here tonight tonight in the njcaa blinn is taking on cisco that'll be starting shortly dodge city butler trinity valley and southern shreveport we do have some finals already iowa western really took it to ellsworth 64-6 navarro is playing new mexico military asa miami taking on lackawanna the badgers will play both of those teams later this season georgia military is taking on the georgia knights that's another team that the badgers will be taking on georgia military kilgore defeated north eastern oklahoma a m 34 to nothing and garden city leads highland 15-6 and it was iowa central over gordon fine arts 84 to 6. that's that's it's good to see gordon's get on the board yeah no and zach erickson we're on the snow college pregame show and uh coach another great win for you and and it feels like as we go along and playing these teams you're playing a little bit better team each each week you're getting to be able to see some of the things that you need to work on some of the things that are good one other thing you haven't been able to work on as a passing game but you're okay with that so far i guess uh more because i have to be but yes yes we're okay with that um you know it is kind of frustrating we're trying to trying to be able to get we got a new quarterback and a new group of receivers and trying to get them all on the same page and you know you can do all the stuff you want in practice but nothing quite simulates game speed and game reps and so we would like to be able to get more into that but at at the same time if if our strength as a team is going to be to rely on our offensive lineman and hand the ball off to target and our other backs i'm okay with that too and uh if that's the identity that this team takes i'm perfectly okay with that and we just want to be able to put our guys in the best situation possible to be successful i i like that attitude it's it's running your offense based on on your personnel and what you can do and this is one of the first years that i've seen snow college that has dominated with rushing and is okay with that it seems like in the past years you know we've got to get those passing yards in there and and almost forcing it to a certain extent but you have three running backs right now in the top ten of the nation in in in yards and average yards per carry in fact uh i think sioni malesi is over 14 yards of carry um and tarky lampson's right there in that same boat and carson manookan and you still haven't ran one of your best backs seth caitlin yeah we're pretty fortunate we've got a stable of backs this year and and they're very good uh but i also think who they're running behind right is also a big part of it our offensive line um you know those guys zach mendoza isaiah giada and hunter bedos and kingsley holiday and solitaire uh you know we're we're we're six seven deep there to be able to rotate guys in and and be able to keep for lack of a better word keep those guys fresh even though you don't really like rotating offensive linemen unless you have to we have seven guys that we feel really comfortable with out there and uh you know coach atwell does such a good job with those guys preparing them every week to not only be able to execute our game plan but the mindset that those guys have taken and and the leadership that they have from coach atwell to to grow and build that mindset i mean they they expect to dominate the line of scrimmage every week and it's been fun at least for the first two weeks to be able to see him do it okay coach great like i said great win for you and i said this last week every win is a great win and and but but you're progressing and it seems like last year you kind of jumped right into the fire taking on iowa western right off the bat this year you've got the luxury i'm going to call it a luxury of being able to play some some lesser teams to be able to kind of build build that confidence and be able to see where you're going yeah and this year is definitely uh more needed than it would have been last year right we last year we had the opportunity to to go through uh a mini spring ball before we got sent home way back when then we were on campus all fall had all of fall practice then we got to spring had spring and then we're able to play a game and we had a very veteran team last year this team not so much especially on the offensive side the ball so it's been good to be able to kind of ease into it if you will as opposed to you know we'll get to play iowa western again and that very well could be a top three match up top four matchup and it'll be nice to have have our ears wet a little bit pregame show gary chettister along with head coach zach erickson coach this week is going to be your first chance to take a look at a team that has already played somebody that's in the national rankings so you get some of that little comparison mcdougall technical institute took on independence kansas last week and uh they lost 69 to nothing but and you don't play anybody from kansas you mentioned that to me before we started here but it's still kind of a match-up thing that that the people that do the rankings will look at down the road on on how we do with them yeah uh it's kind of twofold number one you know this is uh an opportunity for us to really kind of dive in and uh dissect an opponent because they've played two games and we've been able to uh study their tape and pick up their tendencies and stuff like that but then again yeah to be able to play them following a week where they played somebody else who's in the national ranking and just kind of be able to see how we fare versus a common opponent um is something that you know can be good for us and and hopefully good for us going forward if we can continue to win and and get later into the season when you know the rankings really uh become important and become an issue but they're you know they come up from south florida and if you know and understand the demographics of college football you know that south florida has a lot of athletes that come out of that area and so they have quite a few athletes they they are transitioning from a prep school right so the last time they played which would have been the fall of 2019 they actually won the prep school national championship and so they have a tradition of success and and they are doing things you know the right way they're just it's it's maybe a little bigger jump than maybe they had expected from prep school to junior college um and so uh you know their coaches have been great you know i've been able to communicate with their coaches and they're great and and we can see that they're you know they've got the pieces there they just got to get them put together and so we just got we got to make sure that we're prepared and that we're ready and that we we just cannot take anybody lightly at all and so um because you know you never know that they could show up with the next randy moss or the next whoever you know and so we just got to make sure we're ready to go and uh be prepared to to see a lot of great athletes on the football field okay you mentioned uh something that that i hear a lot and this is maybe taking a little bit of a tangent but you mentioned the step from prep schools to to njcaa football and and i think that's something that a lot of people don't realize if they haven't watched a lot of njcaa but it is a huge jump from high school slash prep schools to the njcaa level and you know this you played one year at dixie you played for byu you know how big of a jump that is and some people just don't realize that yeah and and i would even piggyback onto that and especially top level njcaa schools right i mean the the hutchinsons and the garden cities and the northwest mississippis and us the top level njcaa schools are are for lack of a better word we're out there with a bunch of division one fbs football players and and so it's not you know we we get parents all the time of kids that oh my kid just wants to come walk on that snow and it's like i don't think you understand you know he was the third string tight end at your high school he probably isn't going to make it here and so yeah as we see these you know these programs that are are transitioning like a mcdougall from prep school to njcaa you know there can be a little bit of a learning curve but i i would say that especially in their case it won't take them long because number one there's a ton of athletes down there and number two asa miami is the only junior college in that area and so they'll have their pick of the litter and you know if they continue to do things right and and can keep building i wouldn't be surprised to see them be very competitive very soon okay all right so that means you've got uh some preparation got today and and you say you have been able to watch some film right they've played twice already so this is the first time you've been able to do that so that that's a good thing yeah definitely it as a coach there's nothing worse than going into a game blind and and just not knowing which pretty much has been the case our first two weeks and so it's been really good to kind of get back into the routine of breaking down the film and getting our game plan put together and having my drawings on my board again and all of that stuff and so so we're excited to be able to get out there and really kind of execute our game plan and see where we can attack these guys the things we need to stop to to be able to make sure we win are we going to see anything different you and i talked before we actually started the pre-game about the lack of a passing game that that's a horrible way to word it but you guys just haven't had the opportunity or the need for a passing game so my question i guess is are you going to surprise everybody and just come out and pass past past pass on the first few possessions well you know what the surprisingly my answer currently is yes and not not because i want to right you need to but because that's what they're gonna give us so everything that we've seen on tape these guys wanna i mean they're going to load the box and they're gonna play man coverage behind it like cover zero no safety no nothing oh wow and so um if they do that which we we expect them to do you know they they did a ton of that in their first game against one of the press schools they played they weren't they got away from it a little bit in the second half against independence trying to play a little more zone and that's that type of stuff but i think what what they're relying on is trying to get to the quarterback quickly and so you know when when they're blitzing six and seven guys running the ball isn't usually the best option it's snap it get it out quick get it into our playmaker's hands and so you could see us come out early and and try to get the ball out to our receivers and um you know get some points up on the board early but uh you know number one we would like to be able to see our guys do that and number two that just may be the need this week uh based on how they play okay uh we kind of diverged a little bit but that's probably the one of the answers that you got i always ask you what are the the three things that we've got to do or what what what do you see us doing to to be able to come away with the win yeah so kind of like we just hit on we got to be able to pick up their pressures they they blitz they blitz on like 93 of the snaps over the last two games and so we've got to be prepared for that and make sure that not only our offensive line and our backs understand protections but our quarterbacks this is going to be the first time that tommy's been responsible for a blitzer and by that i mean we can pick up six of them but if they bring a seventh now that's on our quarterback so now he's got to throw hot off of that blitzer he's got to know where he's coming from he's got to know where to set his protection and so this would be a good test for him to make sure that he knows where he's got to get the protection set and to be able to account for an extra guy so we got to be able to take care of their pressures secondly win the turnover battle right we've got to be good with the football we did turn the ball over one time last week offensively we still were plus in the turnover but we gotta protect the football and then lastly we just gotta we gotta clean up our little things there's still too many penalties still too many things that we're doing because i think we're at points in the game we're tending to kind of get lackadaisical and just because you know as a game gets out of hand yeah and so we've made a huge focus this week on practice on the little things um not only i mean we we preach the little things everywhere on the field off the field in the classroom in your personal lives all those things and so hopefully that will start to be able to we'll be able to transition into cleaning up our play eliminating those penalties and making sure we're taking care of the little things that ultimately lead to the big things for us to continue to be successful all right coach good now they started at number two and then dropped down to five now back to four they are 15 and 2 on the pre-season so pretty good start for them iowa western community college is perfect 7-0 and ranked number one but the scenic west is tough again this year salt lake community college is ranked number six and utah state eastern is ranked number nine in the in the nation and the badgers will be playing at home for the first time in this season next week 17 games in the first home game coming up now that's that's kind of funny you were explaining that to me in the break and that's that's uh so good for them for going 15 and 2 on the road that's it's tough i i i don't know how they do it and and i mentioned soccer is just the opposite soccer has played at home for much of the the first part of this season and now they're going to be going on the road both the men's and team men's and women's teams went to community christian college new team in the scenic west athletic conference and they both came away with wins i think it was 9-0 and 7-0 so uh the soccer team's doing really well the women's soccer team ranked two uh number two in the nation so where do you start to put you on the spot do you know where community christian's located redlands california okay because they're cause football gets them once or twice twice we're playing a home and home with them yeah they're jumping right into this swac thing and i realize football's not part of the swac but yeah good for them they want to be a part of that so we're ready to kick things off here it'll be stockton lund to kick it off and the bison the mcdougall technical institute bison back deep to receive and this kick is going to carry into the end zone about a yard deep and it's going to be brought out to the 10 to the 15 and taken down right at the 20-yard line on the return is going to be sincere gill so the first thing i noticed when when just when you walked in the stadium tonight gary is mti definitely has more uh you know they're a prep school as you mentioned i think you said they won the national championship last year for prep last year yes yeah they they look like a junior college team the size that they have um you know the number of kids they another number of students that they have playing for them they they look like a legitimate team so that's it'll be fun to watch tonight see what the number one badgers can do well they they are a prep school but they're working to get into the njcaa so they picked up the number of njcaa teams that they're going to play this year so the bison bring them out in motion handoff to a running back and that is what we've seen all season so far from teams trying to run against the badgers corey polk on the carry and he's going to lose at least two yards looks like back to the 18. yeah taking the badgers just picking up where they left off last week i think if i remember right there wasn't a positive offensive play for gila river for what a couple quarters quite a while yeah they finally got some passing yards in the second half but for two weeks in a row now the badgers have not allowed a positive rushing yard both teams have finished minus yards rushing but they they go with that three-down lineman and they're so good there and the linebackers are so aggressive so stepping in at quarterback is going to be hunter helton so hunter helton the quarterback he's got a lone step back trips wide to left back to pass throws the quick out that's going to be caught for a gain of one yard and coming up and making the hit and now a late flag comes in boy where did that come in not sure what what that's going to be but it looks like it might go against the badgers but that pass was caught for a gain of one yard well the badgers are going to get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct that's going to uh give them a first down so kyante scott get gets called for that unsportsmanlike conduct um i wasn't sure if he was the one that stepped up and made that big hit one of the biggest recruits he's on this side now this short uh close side of the field now so i'm not sure if that was him that made the hit last time unless he switched sides but he uh a big recruit uh keante scott if you if you follow snow college recruiting he's being recruited by about everybody in the country right and he has not committed yet but he has over 22 offers so first and 10 moved out to the 33-yard line passes blocked at the line of scrimmage and comes down that's going to be cortez hogan's who got a hand on it and incomplete speaking of a guy that's uh that's recruited heavily cortez hogans he actually initially went to northern illinois came to snow after playing for the huskies out there in illinois and uh we mentioned a couple weeks ago when we did that game together coach zach erickson talks about him as being one of the best defensive lineman snow's ever had which is high praise yeah mario fought i mean you got guys for the past 30 years from snow that's going on to play in the division one and the nfl right second down and 10 now from the 34-yard line hunter helton the quarterback and the ball is snapped past him he goes back and just covers it up that's going to hurt their rushing yardage all the way back near the 20-yard line back to the original line of scrimmage so a loss of 13. [Music] and he he was in good position for some reason the center just snapped it right past him so a loss of 13 it'll bring up third and 23. maybe even close to third and 24. yeah the official scoreboard is going to give it third and 24. again alone setback with hunter helton two wide outs left two wide outs right the badgers show blitz now they back off pass is going to be incomplete they had two receivers in the same place over there and neither one of them could come up with it ton of pressure there on the quarterback had to get it away quick even if it would have been complete wouldn't have been for much so that first drive is other than the penalty really good defense by the badgers [Music] [Applause] well we're already off to minus yards minus 16 rushing and you got to hand it to coach jan jorgensen who is heading up that defense he's come up with some different things it seems like each week to try to keep teams from being able to run on him they do like to blitz so a punting situation here on fourth and 24. now the bison changed sides and did the play clock run out it did so another penalty that's going to push it back to the 15-yard line so fourth and 29. taylor larson back deep to receive standing at his own 45-yard line we'll see if mti has more luck punting than uh gordon's did a couple weeks ago the first game of the season for the badgers whether it was a blocked punt or returned big returns it uh it was kind of ugly for them good snap badgers get some pressure not a good kick i don't know if they got a hand on it but it kind of has some backspin and it's going to come to rest at the 39 and i think somebody from the bison just tried to block one of the badgers into the ball to try to create contact there and i think they're going to nail him for a penalty yeah if you watch on this replay right here right at that 40 yard line just a cheap just kind of a cheap shot in the back uh to the snow badger there it's going to move it up another 15 yards so you're going to be close to what the 25 yard line where the snow will take over for their first possession yeah unnecessary roughness is the official call and so that's going to give the badgers 15 yards so instead of the 39 that should be at the uh 24. when you come to take the number take on the number one team in the country gary you don't want stuff like that you don't want to give them 24 yards in front of them to get into that end zone badgers first possession starts at the 24-yard line at the bison 24. mcgrath hands it off and boy the bison really did a great job of pushing through the offensive line as the handoff went to target lamson but lamson is going to lose two yards back to the 26-yard line yeah number number 17 brienne brianna andre horsley from mti broke through the line was able to make that stop um yeah that was that was good defense gear it was we haven't seen that early in games these first two weeks so it'll bring up second and 12. mcgrath hands it off to lamson again this time he's got a hole lowers the shoulder and he's going to be down to the 15-yard line short of the first down now actually they market that the 16. but a great run that time by target yeah just just outside that first down marker as you mentioned gary and that's more well what we've been seeing from target lampson this year i have not seen the offensive line go backwards like they did on that very first play and i that might fire him up a little bit on third and short mcgrath goes into the end zone touchdown so the badgers have a tough first play but then come right back and they're going to pass it to elijah irvin and irvin is going to catch the 16-yard touchdown yeah just ran right past the the defensive back for mti tommy mcgrath just a nice little toss right over the top into the end zone irvin um pretty easy there after that first play kind of more more what we've been seeing so far this year for the badgers so mcgrath to irvin and the extra point coming up now from stockton lond the extra point is up the extra point is good and the badgers lead at seven to nothing we'll be back with the kickoff right after this are you worried about close to where they started last time two yards better and the badger defense back out on the field looks like uh not the starters so they've already brought in a few new people on defense has snow college shotgun formation for the quarterback hunter helton helton brings a man in motion high snap but he gets it down handoff is going to gain maybe a yard or so the badgers come in on the tackle is going to be remedy okay okateo came from that outside linebacker position and just piggybacked on the top of the running back yeah i just blew up that play right at the line of scrimmage did get a positive yard there that you got to hand it to mti for that we don't see a lot of that this year against the badger defense in the backfield at uh running back i can't find the number but it's gonna be shotgun formation once again second down and nine for the bison there's the snap looking to pass badgers get the pressure and coming up the middle is going to be john talmoy on the tackle [Music] so that's going to be another loss all the way back to the 15-yard line it's going to bring up third and 17 for the bison again helton at quarterback now in the backfield is uh sincere gill you've seen him return a couple of kickoffs now he's going to be the running back in the backfield to the left of helton helton with trips to the right and one wide out to the left play clock is down to five flag on the field tried to go low and stop since they're gail behind the line of scrimmage and he's able to fight through that one get another yard or so so we'll wait and see what the call is here as you notice the uh penalty flag it's going to be a dead ball personal foul against the badgers out of bounds was it after he went out maybe i that's kind of where that flag was and this is this is one of the things that's got to be driving coach zach erickson just right crazy uh these these penalties because already the badgers oh you're okay brad i well there's two two straight threes three three waiting and just came over and made the interception a little bit above push on the on the quarterback after he threw it the badger put his hands up so he didn't get a penalty called again and austin francis just playing center field as you mentioned gary back there and some nice moves to get a lot of yards after the interception all the way down to the 26. wow the if you look at field position yeah the badgers aren't going to have much yardage they're going to have well they've got two touchdowns if they score here but they'll still have barely over 100 yards total offense for three touchdowns right exactly yeah they're they're getting the ball on the mti side of the field every time or close to it on that last one mcgrath back to pass throws to the end zone he's got larson no just off his fingertips incomplete this is one of the things we talked about on the pregame show and i know you didn't hear it and you asked me but coach they haven't had a need to throw the ball so they haven't had the practice throwing the ball and he wants to get that kind of got to do that in the you know especially the first three quarters of these games where you're gonna win by quite a bit you gotta and it you know there's there's there's no rubbing it in or anything like that you gotta work on your offense so when you get our western you you're running on all cylinders right and georgia military i think too yeah so second and ten mcgrath will now back out and get the signals once again patchers go with trips to the left and two to the right empty backfield with mcgrath mcgrath takes the snap and that's blown dead was the play clock down delayed delay of game so the badgers go with the no huddle but they always get the play signaled in from the sidelines and sometimes they take a little bit long to get that play underway but still same formation trips to the left twins to the right nobody in the backfield with mcgrath second down and 15. we're down to 650 remaining first quarter mcgrath back to pass looks to the left now throws to the end zone he's got larson over threw him in complete larson had a couple of steps on the defender kind of just doing go routes all of these the passes that they've tried have just been you know the the snow college badger's a better athlete go and i'll throw it up to you first one went for a touchdown the last two have been just a little bit too long right lamson is going to check back in third and 15. and mcgrath will signal the play lampson will be to the right of mcgrath and the badgers come in with a tight end this time on the left side of the formation mcgrath play action again the goal route going into the end zone again just air mails it over the offensive uh receiver and that's going to bring up fourth and 15. it looks like a flag down there about the 13-yard line i think it might be a hold maybe that's what badger would have ran away and and maybe had a better chance at that if he wouldn't have been held by the defensive back good call greg i did not see that flag so that's going to help the badgers out doesn't help them with their stats on on gaining any yards but that'll be an automatic first down for the badgers so it'll be first and ten from the 21-yard line trips to the left turkey lamson to the left of mcgrath in the backfield and no tight end again down to 10 seconds on the play clock now lamson moves from the left to the right play action pass out quickly to larson larson gets a block turns it up field oh wow larson accelerates and good yeah you mentioned a good uh blocking by the wide receivers trying to get a number on who that blocking was because man he made it but he made that happen out outside if you watch one of them was tavita noah who's the uh the tight end yeah great blocking you see three of those green helmets going with one blocker and larson taking advantage of that now we got a flag on the far side of the field of course we do [Music] well now they say three fouls holding on the badgers i'm guessing yep that's one of them [Music] so we're going to reset this whole thing so we had hands to the face by the bison and we had holding on the badgers so it's instead of a big play inside the five that nullifies everything we'll go first and 10 again from the 21. is it just me or have we had a lot of penalties already here in the first half of this game yes a lot yeah high snap mcgrath gets it hands it to lamson lampson hit spins and picks up maybe another yard let's give him six on the carry down to the 16-yard line that seems like the type of play where an offensive coordinator saying we're trying to work on stuff we're trying to you know we're trying to pass the ball we're trying to work on our passing game okay penalties incomplete passes just give it to target let's see if we can put another one on the board good idea so it'll be second looks like they're only going to give him five on that it'll be second and five badgers come back with a tight end on the left side of the formation lampson to the left of mcgrath play action pass into the end zone again that's into double coverage yeah that's that was not a good pass that was almost picked off yeah that's the wrong read by mcgrath that time you had yeah double coverage out there and uh really probably should have been picked off you see an under a receiver come under that may have been more open yeah the tight end nobody nobody care covered the tight end he went right down the middle of the field yeah tommy mcgrath just need to take just just a half more second and see that develop so now the badgers is a very different formation than what we've seen here is they've got somebody almost at a flanker that's is that tavita yeah you got like an h back back there the tight end that just comes back off into the kind of a slot position uh false start that time though for the badgers my goodness yeah that's tavita noah that's lining up like you say is a kind of an h back there talked about big recruits for the badgers to know is another huge recruit i know he had a tcu offer i don't know if he committed there um but i but i know he had some big offers as in the spring had another penalty here oh yeah if you're coach erickson you know you're maybe not too worried about the outcome of the game i mean of course you're worried about the outcome of the game but you're probably going to get a w in the in the win column here but man you got to be frustrated and off lamson lamson makes a nice cut back lowers the shoulder and runs over a db into the end zone and you you talked about that earlier gary he probably could have avoided that contact right there but he wanted it watching the left side down here lowers that shoulder and runs over a bison number seven corey polk yeah it did a good job to get it out really when you're when you're that close to the to the goal line like that to your own goal line you really want to just just try and give your offense just a little bit of room to breathe and they did that right there badgers again go with single uh coverage on the two wide outs right two whiteouts left helton back to pass hit as he throws right over the middle of the field incomplete almost intercepted in fact i think the play was uh made by the umpire who got in the way of the badger you got a badger down walking kind of funny on that knee i'm having trouble seeing his number 25 i think gary okay so that is uh brandon falau coming off the field he'll get some attention and yeah he comes off and just immediately goes down on the ground he made the the tackle last time on the ball carrier on that first first down play so it's gonna be third and nine deep in their own territory here for the bison he's really walking gingerly and brandon's been a bit been a big contributor so far this year so right we hope he can hope it's nothing too bad now the badgers actually have a safety but now he's creeping up to the line of scrimmage helton takes the low snap flag on the play high incomplete and we do have a flag before the play it looks like it's going to go against the bison and the yeah they're going to have to take it because it's a false start yeah a couple yards move them a couple yards back closer to the to their own end zone so it'll be third and 11. so when you so as you've been talking they're moving that safety all the way down now this time it looks like they're keeping that one high safety for the badgers they had been moving him down to really where you've got about eight guys in the box there just trusting your cornerbacks with the man on man defense badgers back off defensively pass over and 10 intended for the receiver it's too high almost picked off i think that was austin francis again own territory yet yep started that uh what second drive what about the 49 or so right near midfield and the rest of these have all been within uh you know under the 40. the 24 the 48 the 26 and the 15. there you go yeah so this this does great for scoring but it's horrible for your stats yeah but we'll see if the badgers try to work on something again here as they come out they're going to go meaning you know first down you try and run and get so are they saying so the official got on and i think he's saying that snow college substituted right and so that needs to allow mti to be able to substitute and they didn't give him enough time you have that second official that'll come and stand over the ball and he won't move until the offense can snap the ball and zach erickson saying hey this is our first down we came on with 11 guys and that's who we snapped the ball with so he's not happy with it but yeah yeah anyway uh what i was getting at though is you know normally you try and set up you know your run to set up the pass you run and try and get three four yards stay ahead of the sticks is what it's called i think you're gonna see snow realizing that if they hand it off to target lamps and you might get a touchdown every play so you can't you kind of want to work on your offense you want to throw the ball right the badgers they they need help i mean they haven't thrown over what four or five passes in a game and they you got to work on that aspect of it sure so shotgun formation for mcgrath he's got lamson to his left now he backs up and looks for the call the badgers have two wide outs to the right and a single wide out to the left on first and ten from the 16. handoff to lamson lamson breaks a tackle still on his feet wow touchdown target lamson and you just mentioned it and and and he was hit what two yards right right past the line of scrimmage and he just fights his way there's one hit there's another one and he drags a player to the end zone so polk and polk dances his way out of bounds and a late flag not a lot of contact on that it looked like the defensive player would just kind of i don't know if he hadn't even intended to hit him but he had some good moves there what's his right what's his name again gary hulk hulk okay yeah he had some hit some really good moves one probably the best offensive play of the night for mti and then attack another 15 on for that late hit out of bounds as you mentioned it wasn't a violent hit or anything but it was definitely after he had stepped out of bounds they're going to wave it off well so looked like mcgrath was just trying to throw it away and montgomery almost came down with that one would have only been a few yard gain but kind of a fun little play there outside a good good pass rush that time by the bison one of their better defensive plays really since that very first play right it's kind of similar to that gordon's game very first play of the game snow fumbles and from there it was no trouble that first game of the season same thing here just a short gain on the first play and then haven't had much trouble since then the bison showing blitz once again mcgrath back to pass has time goes over the middle got a man open that's taylor larson larson now slows up wants a block slows up again now turns it forward and he's going to be tackled inside the 20-yard line nice catch and run by taylor larson taylor larson has to be so frustrating if you're a defender you think you have him in your in your grasp and he just makes some little juke mover a little spin move like you see at the end of this gets another 10 or 12 yards look at that spin right there at the 25. and then breaks a tackle yeah and then spins again yeah to gain another four yards as he's being thrown down so the badgers inside the 20-yard line big pass play for snow mcgrath rolls out to the right buys some time throws to the middle of the field pass is going to be caught down near the goal line reaching for the goal line they're going to give him the touchdown they say he rolled over a defender is that what it was there i'm trying to i think it is i'm trying to see who it is that number made the catch and now we're going to have three celebration yeah montgomery again montgomery on the catch look officials you can't throw a flag there if he's got those kind of dance moves am i right gary i'm with you what are we we're not america's got talent judges here we don't need that those are some dance moves let the man dance and and give him credit he was headed towards the badger retreating now trying to get back forward and taken down at the 23-yard line you signal for a fair catch there you've got some of your best field position of the game instead you try to return and you end up losing yardy if you watch this replay man the blocking by mti is there's there's not a lot of effort going there i don't know maybe they're trying to set up a wall over there but my goodness you got kid you got guys just standing over there along their sideline that they're gonna get a kid killed but anyway as you mentioned yeah if you call a call a fair catch you get it at the 25 that's pass to go up in the air and then he comes over and makes a play on it as the badgers have been running the single safety right yeah yes yeah and francis is just everywhere out there you know he had the best play he had one of the best plays of the whole season against the snow defense the previous play before that and then what do they do to to redeem themselves on the very next play there you go badgers are going to go with it looks like tavita noah is in there once again and he's going to play that h-back mcgrath hands it off to lamson lamson cuts behind the blockers lamson's in the backfield lamson's down the field will they catch him from behind i don't think so the 30 the 20 the 10. the five and they do catch him oh lamson's gonna hate that as he's out of bounds at the two how many times do you see a guy go 90 yards and not get in the end zone oh my word goodness yeah target i was i before i didn't really have time before you were setting up that play for the play-by-play but i was gonna say i'll bet target lamson's over there and coach zach erickson's head saying hey i want my stats here you put me in there i didn't think it would be one play i thought it might be you know four or five plays but yeah where did they start there i forgot to write it down yeah it was clear down by the 10 or so i'm not sure exactly but yeah so it gets all the way to the one what is that about a 90-yard run and the pitch goes to target and target lowers the shoulder gets hit at the goal line lowers the shoulder again keeps working they're saying no he did not get in the end zone so he got to the two on the big long run now he gets to the one where's carson maneukin saying hey get me in here get me in here let me finish this off i'll finish this i think he can't do it i think you obviously ride your kid that got you all the way down here getting that fourth touchdown i'm a big fan of that if somebody gets you that close give it to him again you bet so target in the backfield might be a little winded though and now has melisi come in man in motion they fake it they hand it off to target and again target is not going to be able to get in we do have a flag on the play great job there by big number 90. for uh the bison if i can find that number oh there it is emerson coleman watching the white hat for this call here i think it was legal procedure fault start something to the effect they're trying to see if they want to accept that or take the down and the couple yards lost yeah so they'll decline that because because he dropped him for a few yards lost so you get the down and the three-yard loss and you know if the rest of this game or the rest of the season for the badgers is any indication it probably won't matter either way but i don't think it's a bad decision by mti to to i think either way you you could have a uh a debate either way of what you would call here and neither is really right or wrong mcgrath over talking to one of the officials and now the white hat is over talking to the coaching staff of mti as we've got a little bit of a delay here before we get the next play underway maybe deciding if they want to decline that or not i don't know if you need to have a official's review every single time but there you go and they're going to fire it up so this should be third down right if they yeah and they they get it changed so it's gonna be third and three and now i almost think they probably won't hand it off to lamson and now they're gonna time it out and stop the clock as the officials are now going to talk to each other so we've had the officials make the call we've had the officials talk to mti now they're accepting and he keeps saying illegal motion that he's signaling illegal procedure yeah now illegal procedure the way i understand it is not an option that should stop the play yeah illegal motion yeah exactly and now they went over and talked to mti again and they have not administered the yards yet right so so so we're going to put some time back on the clock trying to get this sorted out so we've had the penalty was declined then we had the penalty accepted but we haven't marked off the yard often the box still says still says third which it would be if they declined it so there now they're finally moving back and it will be second down because they did take the penalty so what is that what is that about a three yard maybe two or three yard difference but you give snow the down back i know i i don't think i would have done that myself but so second down and goal from the six yard line mcgrath back to pass throws the quick slant pass is caught and touchdown snow college who comes up with the catch is that taylor we're going to get a number here i i've been looking through by the knox let's see here i don't know who's coming out of there gary i don't see taylor yeah taylor larson's coming out there right now and where he's the holder on the extra point i think that was him coming out last so so it's going to be a six yard pass play is that what you gave him brad six yards on it okay so mcgrath now with three touchdown passes and target lamson with three touchdown runs and the line nice return yeah i was watching off the ball that time i gave the mcdougall uh kick return guys a little bit of a hard time last kickoff didn't get some good blocks that time they they weren't afraid of the badgers that time they had some really good blocks to open up that return all the way up to what the 36 or so some uh decent field position for the bison sincere gill on that return giving some wheels he does he and he showed that a couple of times so a return of uh what are we gonna give him 34 34 yards on the return yeah plus or minus a little bit brad nods his head not too bad it is a face mask especially after talking with coach zach erickson that that was one of the focuses they wanted to avoid that you know they wanted to get rid of these penalties that that have plagued them and instead they've actually picked up more in this game that's going to move it into badger territory at the 49-yard line badgers now have eight penalties in the first half for 71 yards and that does that include what we just did maybe not goodness well gets past past midfield for the bison second time that they've crossed midfield now and it'll be first and ten from the 49 of snow college [Applause] badgers have backed up the linebackers a little bit back to passes meisman throws that quick slant incomplete just a little bit behind the receiver that time could have if it would have been on the numbers probably would have been a gain of about six yards i had i thought it was 23 but that's dawson tanner who's a wide receiver i don't right that quarterback is that what you know yeah the the cornerback on that far side corner yeah we'll get it if you help me out there second and ten again miceman in the backfield at quarterback and there's the snap badgers under blitz and they grab miceman but miceman gets away now looks downfield throws he's got a man open are they going to say he made the catch and a flag comes in late i okay you don't see this too often i think the wide receiver went out of bounds came back in and he's the first to touch it and that's a penalty i was going to say if they're going to call that against the badger for hitting him out of bounds if they're calling it a catch he's got to push him out of bounds but yeah if that's it if he comes out we'll watch on this replay going to be tough to see there down at the bottom of the field but that is gonna that is gonna be it gary you called it well when you see the official without his hat that indicates that somebody went out of bounds and you can't be the first to come back in and touch the ball so that's going to be a penalty on the bison they're going to go with two whiteouts right two whiteouts left and in the backfield is going to be gill sincere gill on third and 10. the badgers declined the penalty and that took away a great catch we should say as well pass over the middle caught and immediately tackled for a gain of two yards meisman was under a lot of pressure did a great job just getting rid of it yeah the tackle that time by xavier spann they put him up on the board as tutu span we got him on our list as xavier so obviously that's a that's a nickname or something he wants to be called got this beautiful board here at snow college terry foote stadium robert stoddard field where the badgers lead it by a score of 42 to nothing here in the first half punting situation on fourth and eight taylor larson standing back at his 15-yard line [Applause] they've got both of their uh wide-outs to cover the punt on the right side of the formation and then the punt is back to the middle and fair catch signaled for by taylor larson but what do we got on that other side of the field we got another flag oh my goodness i don't mean to be negative oh it just takes a long time illegal formation they apparently did not have the the tackle covered maybe it'll be i wouldn't be or the badgers going to make them punted again they accepted it yeah okay i mean i mean it was about as good of a pun as it possibly could have been so yeah right the badgers had it at their own five yard line you have you almost have to accept that penalty and push it back you got to play football i mean i know you're up 42 nothing but you still gotta you gotta play football so it'll be a punting situation still on fourth and 13. and getting set to do the uh the punt duties is jaterius morris badgers have somebody coming on the field late but they get out there now badgers looking like they're bringing a block and under a lot of pressure and then running into the kicker so this is going to come back oh my goodness yeah that's good that's why you declined the penalty and just yeah take it yeah yeah you knew you had the ball roughing the roughing so it's going to be enough for a first down give move it all the way down to close to the close to the 35 or so for the bison so that'll be another first down for mti after the penalty and that'll move it deeper into snow college territory they'll mark it at the 37 and it'll be first and 10. and more penalty yardage against the badgers so that is now 10 penalties for 101 yards in the first half wow you got to clean that up gives you something to work on this week for sure badgers will take on community christian college next week here at badger stadium and then they go on the road for the month of october pretty much three out of the four games in october will be on the road i think october 9th is at home is that right it is against iowa western yeah big iowa that's the one that we're looking forward to for sure on first and ten a handoff and no gain that'll bring up second and ten on the tackle jonathan hunt bring up second and ten trips wide to the left for meisman the quarterback badgers showing blitz as they bring the safety up they do have one safety back though back to passes miceman has time goes deep down the sidelines good coverage out there tipping it away at the last second is the number 19 nick haynes played that about as well as you can that's a beautiful throw that was a great route and a beautiful throw by the bison just excellent defense by the badgers the quarterback uh couldn't have put it in a better spot for his receiver to come down with at that time he had time in the backfield that's that was one of the more impressive offensive plays for the bison all night but the better defense won and now i'm going to second-guess myself it might have been reggie at acls third down and 10 for meisman and somebody moved on the offensive line reggie akels had that play a couple weeks ago against gordon's if you remember where he basically took off the head quarterback that kind of got a little bit of no i don't know if it went viral but it was a little bit he was most diverse tweeted around quite a bit i saw that quite a few times on twitter where he just blew up the quarterback knocked off the helmet and picked up the ball that was right next to the helmet and took it into the end zone so now third and 15 after the illegal procedure badgers back off defensively not showing blitz meisman back to pass now they do blitz he throws it down the sidelines got a man open incomplete oh he caught it wow and we have a touchdown the first score of the year against the badgers and it comes from yards out watch this replay here on snow tv if you're watching online beautiful pass play as we mentioned just a dude through a good ball and was able to come down with it right with two badgers on him amazing catch high short kickoff is going to bounce and the badgers feel it at about the 17-yard line out to the 30 35 and flag on the play of course and that is is that span on the return xavier but a flag on the play we'll see where it leads us actually two flags on the play the ball was marked at the 43-yard line but we'll see after the penalty where we go badgers have only started in their own territory on two possessions they started at their own 39 and they midfield the badgers are already near the red zone mcgrath under pressure stripped from behind loses the ball and a good job covering it up by one of the big offensive linemen number 76 that time for the badgers was able to jump on that ball zach mendoza way to get way to get into the broadcast zach well that's going to lose close to 10 yards call it nine it'll bring up second and 19. leads asa miami 31-21 georgia military blew away the georgia knights 62-15 second now and 21 for snow college and the badgers go with two in the backfield sione malisi and he gets the handoff malasi picks up a few yards flag on the play again flag is thrown by uh one of the side illegal procedure against snow college he said yeah he said the receiver didn't get set that time and tavita says yep that's on me my bad so the badgers almost back to where they started before the 30 yards in penalties so now it's going to be second down and 29. got to get to the 17 here so we'll see if they can get that in one play see he's not even out there oh isn't this him the nearby oh that's melissa you're right yeah melissa mcgrath back to pass they set up the screen pass to melisi melisi middle of the field breaks a tackle fumbles the ball as he's hit from behind late flag comes in but the badgers have their first turnover as mti comes up with it yeah so so if you watch on this replay he uh he got he got took down from behind that uh horse collar tackle caused the fumble yeah it was actually after the fumble that that happened i don't see that are they going to give it back to the badgers fumble recovery by the defense oh my word so the badgers don't turn it over they're going to give it back to snow college oh my word yeah because [Laughter] so they actually i thought there were two penalties but the one penalty is clear back here on the other side of the uh the field and that was uh unnecessary roughness against the quarterback and so that's why the badgers are going to get the ball back i you and i thought it was the penalty downfield but because the penalty was back here before the badgers had turned it over that's why they're going to get the 15 yards well they got the first down in one play they did you were you called it yeah they didn't get to the first down marker but because it was uh unnecessary roughness the badgers get it back so cion cione malisi in the backfield and also out there for the first time this season is seth kaelin on the other side to see him back it is so seth kaelin on the left cione malicio on the right now melisi goes in motion mcgrath back to pass has time steps up pump fake now he's going to run it gets a block and then steps out of bounds and more flags on the play just got touched out of bounds if the official or if the quarterback gives himself up when he's stepping out of bounds if you touch him you're going to get a personal foul every time i you know i don't want to see the flags as much as you do gary i mean we're we're 8 30 we're an hour and a half into this game and 5 30 left here in the in the first half it just so many flags this game but but that uh that's an easy one anytime anytime you see two flags come in from two different officials at the exact same time you know it's a pretty easy call like that yeah so 12 penalties against mti for 102. 12 penalties against the badgers for 111. so it's it's a close game it is a close game and penalties we'll keep up with that that'll that'll be that'll be a stat that we'll give you at halftime uh checking the scoreboard snow college 42 and mti 7. again seth kalin and sioni malisi in the backfield one on either side of mcgrath mcgrath takes the snap hands it off to melisi police he tries the left side now steps back in and tries to cut it back i'm interested to see the stats here uh target lamson's number of yards all that kind of stuff from from brad james i mean the thought snow snow doing what snow does the number one team in the nation there's a reason they're the number one team in the nation and and you know this early season schedule is against um some teams that they should be beaten pretty handily in there and they're doing what they should we've talked ad nauseam about the penalties and i'm sure that's something that coach zach erickson will talk with his guys about in the locker room but uh but overall i mean how can you be how can you be upset about your about your players when they're up what 50 56 to 7 at halftime well i i think the the penalties is definitely something that that takes away some of the luster with the win there iowa western big over ellsworth 64-6 that game played in council bluffs iowa other action lackawanna defeated asa miami by a score of 31-21 both of those teams the badgers will be playing later on this season they'll play in miami against asa miami lackawanna will travel here in november to take on the badgers georgia military the first game the badgers play on the road a big win over the georgia knights 62-15 kilgore defeated northeast oklahoma 34 to nothing iowa central big over gordon fine arts 84-6 and garden city defeated highland kansas by a score of 15 to 6. right now on mcdougall brad what do you got for us well we have more parody than we've normally had judging by the first two contests that's that's a relative statement but yes yes definitely more parody today but the badgers uh 16 first down macdougall with 10 197 rushing yards at badgers and minus 17 for mcdougall the badgers have five completions 84 yards and four touchdown passes on the completion you have [Music] lars and larson has two for 50 and a touchdown montgomery marquises catch goes one one catch 17 yards for marquise and elijah irvin one catch and that goes 16 yards and tv to noah one catch for a yard and the touchdown and the lamb's glam 188 yards and 90 for the long three touchdown and that's just a magnificent first half for target lansing yeah how many carries what's his average 11 for 188 wow and so he's averaging he's over oh close to 20 yards per carry man quite a few but for mcdougall mario bynes jr he posts two catches in 80 yards and a touchdown he's the bison star in the first half yeah corey polk with nine and 34 on the ground and it's mice and then miceman has 82 passing yards and a touchdown for the bison in the first half and then you have austin francis's two interceptions to pace nose defense yeah 281 yards of offense badgers and 66 to the credit of mcdougall and we can take you around college football briefly yeah it doesn't need to about 60 i think it was 66 yards total uh 82 yards passing for that uh latest quarterback they had in there uh yeah miceman thank you and uh beautiful pass there uh pitch and catch there to get the lone score uh you know seven points on the board for for mti and they've uh i would say they're probably the best opponent snow's played this this year maybe gila river i don't know but uh definitely the best offensive performance that any team has put on against snow so far this year and uh you mentioned that touchdown the pass and catch 42-yard touchdown pass from meisman to binds and the point after was good looks like uh utah ends up losing in triple overtime wow in that game so the utes dropped two in a row now oh there it was final score was 33-31 san diego state over utah so in that third overtime you have to go for two is that correct yeah so it looks like san diego state made the two-point conversion utah did not make their two-point conversion that was the difference in that game here snow college badgers lead at 56-7 i would imagine uh we'll see probably gabe sweden at quarterback in the second half we might see seth kalin a little bit more because he he got his first touches this season uh there at the end of the uh the first half probably won't see target lampson again no yeah probably see sioni melisi uh manukin and uh and seth kalin gary's favorite name i love i love carson manookan i i just like saying manuka i had a chance to call his name plenty this year well he's the the third running back on the depth actually fourth and uh he is in the top five of the nations i mean yeah the badgers are just uh i don't know that i've ever seen that in fact it's fairly rare that you have a running back in the top 10 personal college because they tend to run to set up the pass and and have more passing yards but this year uh they've got a a host of running backs that and any one of them could get several touches and and have amazing yards but yeah they've spread it around pretty well yeah and that's a credit to the offensive line as well obviously those those running backs are getting a lot of the credit but uh they're they're running through those running backs are running through holes that i think gary and i could probably run through and be top 10 in the njcaa as well maybe you i i i was just about to say maybe brad might be maybe browns are yeah so anyway it's kind of a different dynamic that you would never see at any other level of football of your plan to get somebody and say hey look at that kid out there maybe we could go talk to him after the game about coming here next year i don't know well when we talked about it uh against gila river you had actual players that are enrolled at snow college playing against snow college yeah high snap great job by the punter just to get the snap and then a great kick wow and trying to return it for the badgers well actually it's a carson manukin but doing a good job of just keeping that ball from rolling further downfield was carson he's tackled immediately after he picks it up but it didn't roll any further yeah on 38. guys you're mentioning about gila river though just for anybody that maybe didn't listen to that game so gila river is a collection of basically any kids that are going to a junior college down in the arizona or wherever can get together and they play for that team and you have some kids taking online classes snow play for them down there so even though they're enrolled at snow right and the idea is that they'll be eligible to to be able to go ahead and play at another school if they get the chance yeah good for them high snap handoff goes to kalyn kalyn is going to pick up about nine yards out near the first down high snap and a good job by gabe sweeten to come down with that those snow running backs they're all built kind of similar you know they're probably roughly the same height and they run very similar so if if you you know if you're watching snow for the first time a lot of those running backs for snow they look they look quite similar out there in the way they move and they're build single setback is uh kalin mti shows blitz handoff goes to kalyn kalyn has the first down kaelin if he can outrun the defense is in the end zone touchdown seth kalin a 53-yard touchdown run seth what a run by seth kalin his first touchdown of the year is that right right yeah first game of the year the reason the reason i mentioned that about the the snow running backs looking similar is when you called it kalin that first one i thought it was manukin but they they just look quite similar out there but uh yeah definitely showed the wheels when he broke out into the open field as these snow running backs have done all year seth kalin was the the number one back for the badgers last year um did really well all season long but he had an injury in that championship game national championship game and he was still recovering the badgers could have used him in one of the first two games but decided to give him a little extra time to try to get healthy and it looks like he is as he takes the 53 yards into the end zone p-a-t is good by when it's 70 to 7 and they got two inches on the run right um it's yeah if anyway those snow linebackers are just a lot of credit goes to them and i think you gotta also give some credit to the d-lineman so sure to hold up the offensive line to give the linebackers a chance to come up there's a successful pass by miceman it's going to be caught out to the 25-yard line but he's going to feel it in the morning is coming up and making a a huge hit was khalil lewis wasn't it [Music] yeah big hit by khalil lewis that time a good play by mti to get the first down but lewis lewis laid the lumber from that safety position so a first down and that'll move the sticks as i mentioned quarterback is going to kill meisman and miceman is going to be taken down good defensive play that time for to lewis out of the backfield lewis makes the catch turns it up field gets knocked out of bounds just inside the 25 yard line and so back to the original line of scrimmage jalen hughes steps up and makes the stop for the badgers that time we mentioned uh khalil earlier khalil started as a a cornerback and i think they've really liked how he is not afraid to come up and hit somebody hard and they've moved into the safety position so he can get some more time because the badger is actually fairly deep at that cornerback position trip slip live to the left lewis in the backfield meisman back to pass under some pressure steps up breaks a tackle and tries to get the first down but he goes down at the 30-yard line that's gonna bring up fourth and about five yeah he's he's probably probably made the right decision to go down there i don't know if he got tripped up there i'm watching on this snow tv replay got a little bit tripped up and if he wouldn't have been tripped up there scrimmage so a gain of one for mcgill yeah another another one of those plays where it looked like there might have been a little bit of a hole that the middle linebacker just steps up and fills that gap i know i've talked about that a couple of times already today but it's just it's fundamental defensive football for the badgers and doing a great job again you said jan jorgensen former byu great he was the sack leader at byu for a while i don't i don't think he still is he might be i don't know but he was for a while the animal jan jorgensen so he's done a great job coordinating this defense for the badgers he has and i said mcgill it's just gill uh sincere gill in the backfield to the right play action and mcconnell is going to keep it but he's going to lose yardage back near the 20. so congratulations on the win uh 84 7. so you had a couple of things going on here i i you really had to have a good showing because this is the first time you've got somebody that a team that you're beating had played and they played somebody else in the top ten so there was a little bit of pressure there as far as making sure that it looked good yeah right i mean i hate to say it that way but it is a factor right i mean unfortunately it is unfortunately that's the problem is that the way that the rankings work you know a lot of times where we don't get to play all those teams from those other conferences they look for head-to-head match-ups with a common opponent and like you said uh you know indy had played these guys and beat them 69 to nothing so we just had to make sure that you know we demonstrated that we were to that level to that level exactly all right yes so uh i don't know are you going to be looking for a new defensive coordinator you gave up seven points here tonight you know what i so and it's funny i i i'm mad at myself uh for those seven points because i declined the penalty they punted we had the ball and i'm the one that chose to have them re-kick and then on that drive that was when they ended up scoring so i'm taking that 100 percent i'm still saying jan hasn't been scored on because that was my fault and you know i was kidding jan has done a great job and we mentioned it several times he's throwing things at these teams and and i don't there's still negative yards rushing it was minus eight unofficially minus 18 tonight so in three games they have nobody has yet to run positive yards against you rushing the ball yes and that's just a huge testament to not only jan his whole staff but but that defensive front that we have our defensive line our linebackers i mean they're they're playing at a really high level right now and they're a bunch of uh phenomenal football players who we will be hearing their names for a lot more saturdays to come beyond here because a lot of those guys are going to be p5 fbs football players and you're deep there i i mean we are you're starting defensive line um you know they're good but even the guys coming behind them have shown that they are very good as well we're probably two and three deep uh on the defensive line so it's a nice luxury to have well it just keeps everybody fresh and then then the level that they're able to perform goes up because they're they're they're there exactly all right so a great win for you so you got uh community christian college coming up next week do you know anything about them at all not really kind of in the same boat as mcdougall right they're a new first year njcaa junior college from california didn't want to play in the california junior college league i do know that they've had some issues with uh their program they replaced their coach two months ago and i've talked to him a handful of times and you know they haven't played yet we're going to be their first game they picked up a lot they're very um end of the season schedule heavy so they have uh eight games scheduled this just being their first one um so no film no nothing another it's gonna be another tough week for us as a staff to to game plan and to get our guys up but uh you know that's our job and that's why it's what we get paid to do so we got to figure out a way to make sure we're ready to go next saturday so kind of an interesting situation you mentioned that they're in the njcaa and california but they're not playing in that california system and they've actually joined the scenic west athletic conference with all the other sports so snow college is playing against them in soccer and in basketball and and so forth so this i'm guessing is going to be a team that you'll be playing quite regularly that's the plan yep that's the plan number one it gives us a good another quality opponent in the njcaa and it's close we don't have to go to miami or atlanta there you go and so yeah you'll see these guys i mean they're on our schedule twice this year we're returning the trip the end of october and so hopefully this is a team we get to play quite a bit in the future okay coach i know you want to get down with the team celebrate one one side note here still some things that you guys can work on absolutely tonight big thing tonight is the penalties we what we're trying to get our guys understand if we're playing close games and we're still doing this type of stuff it's going to come back to bite us in the butt and and it may cost us a game so we actually uh we're going to have a little uh you know come to jesus if you will on monday uh with the guys about some of these penalties especially in the second half um and so we got to clean that up
