the only thing this spot on Nightline did is put a target on those kids for potential robberies and muggings.
at the young age of 12 to 16 years old, you realistically don't have a firm grasp on the value of a dollar. which is why you see those kids throwing around "5,000 dollars between the three of them". its more than likely if you were to yoke one of those kids up, they'd give you all 5 stacks, and the sneakers off their feet without blinking.
it aint the shoes thats causing people to get stabbed over Concords, its the young kids who don't really grasp how much money they are flashing around at conventions like this.
