Small Space Decorating Ideas|Decorate with Me|New Home Decor

hi guys welcome back to my channel I hope you guys are having an amazing day I hope your week has been off to an amazing start and I hope you all are in good health so today you guys in today's video we are going to be redecorating my entryway so we're not going to be doing this Niche here behind me we're also we're actually going to be styling the wall to my left is right by my front door so I wanted to change out the whole look actually I did change out the whole look of that space and then we're going to just restyle it up I really didn't like the look that I created with the long mirror and the bench if y'all been follow me for a while y'all seen that kind of look in there I just want to try something different something a little bit more my style something a little bit more bold so also have a arrey fig tree which is absolutely gorgeous so some of these plants like I said they all of their plants come in their own self-watering container so these containers are modern they're right here by my front door and this is just a little wall that I have changed several times in the past I have had a bookshelf on this wall had some open shelves and then one thing with my home if I don't like it I just change it out I don't like to be living with stuff that I don't like because let's be face it we all want our home to be nice and inviting and we all also want it to be something that we enjoy so if you don't enjoy something in your home I I would recommend just changing it out if you can if your budget allows you to change it out so I also like I said I restyled this space a few times and recently I had the long mirror here and then I also had a bench I just didn't like the way the look um the overall look of that was after I lived with it for a little bit I just didn't like the look I wanted something a little bit more modern a little bit more Glam so we're going to be styling up this space so I started off with this Mir here I found this mirror on Wayfair I do know that they do have it listed on Amazon and they do have it on Walmart.com so definitely check out those areas too one thing I wanted something I wanted something that was going to be bold for this space now it may not be everybody's style or it may not be everybody looks but I absolutely love this mirror it's a showstopper and then it also it's it's just a statement piece it's beautiful first of all is heavy it's it's a real heavy mirror it's metal all around the edges and then it has all of this gold brass um detail around it so it's absolutely gorgeous I just absolutely love the look of this mirror very it's very unique and that's what I wanted something that's going to be unique and something that's different something that you can't find in everybody else's house so I absolutely love the look of this mirror so and I think this mirror is 35 35 in by x 35 so it's absolutely gorgeous like I said I love the brass detail on it it almost kind of looks like a sun but it's I love it that it's sculptural and then it also is a mirror too so it has some really beautiful detail on it go ahead and style the rest of the space with all the other pieces that I recently purchased okay so I'm going to add in this sofa table here this sofa table I really wanted a small table to go over here in this space I really I did this look um maybe about three four years ago I had the same similar look and similar setup and I think this fits my space a whole lot better I like it because it gives me somewhere just an extra spot to just set um you know my keys and everything else that I may need I just think this works out better then that way I can kind of change up the niche here and put something else there if I wanted to but I love this table I found this on Wayfair as well so I just love it it love the modern sleet Vibe of it this table is very inexpensive very budget friendly but I love the clean lines of it I just really wanted something that was going to be Simple and Clean and modern that'll be able to fit into my space and since the mirror is so bold I really wanted something to kind of tone down the mirror as well so this table is about 45 in long and I think about 30 35 in tall so I was really struggling trying to find something to fit in this space because the space is very tiny it's not that big very narrow so I didn't want to block my doorway and I didn't want to protrude over into the living room so this table works perfect for that y'all so I absolutely love it and the good thing it does come in three different finishes I know it comes in like a black it comes comes in a white oak and I think they comes it comes in a white now I'm going to add in this um lamp I got a new lamp from homegood I absolutely love it I love this lamp because it has green and it has a little bit of ivory in there and a little bit of brown so it matches uh kind of flows with the accent colors that I have going on in this room so I absolutely love it I wanted something a little bit different I really didn't want anything to be um white like the other whites like the other lamps I wanted to have something that had like a little bit more pop of color so I absolutely love this so yeah this is by actually DKNY so it is small enough that um it doesn't kind of protrude over the mirror so that's what I was really look for so this is hows get to balance out this side I'm going to add in my base from West but y'all have seen this V so many times it does come in black um then they have a smaller I think they have some smaller ones and um a smaller one and a medium siiz one as well with this one a dining room tablescape I had white flowers with a little pop of green so I want to kind of continue on with the same thing and add like these little pop of green stems that I got these is actually some Christmas stems I think that's when I got it but I like that it has these little green bead on them these little green berries and then it has like little hints of that bronze gold so I'm going to be using them just to decorate my vase with and I think these these must have came I know these came from H I had these like years ago but some of that Christmas decor even though it's christmy you can still use it to decorate you know throughout the rest of the year too if it's something that's like neutral enough that can flow with the rest of your home and then you know when you decorate with your stems you always want to kind of bend them and play around with them trying to make them little have a little bit more movement to it so they're not um so they're not looking so stiff that's that then I'm just going to add in this white vase with this well this little floral arranger I got this from HomeGoods this was like $15 yeah $4.99 so just plain and simple it has some white flowers and some your little F you can L this that [Music] there then I'm going to add in my coffee table BS adds and then this is ad at 100 and then the little beautiful I'm going to add in this candle Snuffer I had this one for from I had this one for a while this is actually by Michael arum really nice um statement piece so I'm going to add this here has like little butterflies on the and then this candle came from um the candle actually came from HomeGoods is it's called well the brand is Newport Beach so this is what we got going on so far going add these St and then these St so I bought two stools to go under here so that way I can use it for extra seed in here then I can also use it for um you know you can pull them out to put your shoes and stuff on as well but these came from Wayfair too so they do come in other colors so this one is more like a um dark tote khaki color than it has like a bronze kind of gold band around it really [Music] pretty [Music] just think this looks this I just think that this look fits the space a whole lot better always miss my table that was here from years ago and then I just got sometimes with home decor you try out some stuff sometimes stuff don't work and there's nothing and that's fine if it doesn't work if it doesn't work out there's no problem with it or whatever A lot of my stuff I either upcycle give it to my sister or family members or whatever A lot of times I um donate some items or even I even sell some of the items I don't use them anymore so yeah I always if I don't like it I change it out so I like this look a whole lot better than what I had before I think it looks more it's more functional and then it looks um it looks aesthetically pleasing to me a lot better [Music] [Music] [Music]
