Small, Medium, or Large: Which is the most useful?

that's so cute [Applause] all right um just the highlights from today's p.o box and it was a doozy okay we got a grain moisture tester yeah so it was funny dad was like man we need a grain moisture tester mine quit working the other day and and this appeared in the mail look at this thing it's kind of awesome so thank you so much i know that sounds kind of boring um but it's super exciting it's portable like handheld um second i want to thank carl for this hundred dollar casey's gift card i don't know if you know this but grant and i stop at casey's probably at least once a day um pizza pop gatorade we love casey so thank you so much and then i think my personal favorite gift of the day okay so yeti tumbler which i love has a handle i do not have one like that already it has a screw on and off lid and it has this nice little cap i don't know i i love it the green color is awesome we got a lot of stickers a lot of great letters excellent trip to the post office you guys yeah stickers do it for dale do it for dale so you may have seen these in the background of some of my most recent videos um we did not buy three brand new jlgs in fact these are still prototypes uh okay so let's let's go back a few weeks let's go back to husker harvest days uh do you remember i was walking around i talked to a whole bunch of different vendors and grant dad and i spent quite a bit of time at the jlg booth talking with some super nice people and they had this problem they really just didn't want to take these home so they wondered if they could send them home with us and of course i said yes duh so they are on our farm uh they're not paying me for any of this but i am here to test these out and see if they're useful on a farm so let's see all right here's our first one i think this is my personal favorite okay so this is the 3013 i think it is um and then the weight rating for this one is 2 300 pounds um we have forks on it right now but of course there's a ton of different attachments you can put on it um i just like how small and cute this one is it looks just like a forklift uh this one has a four-cylinder kubota diesel engine in it pretty easy but honestly from the back it looks just like a forklift it really does i like it this could fill many uses all right we're moving up a little bit this is a more like mid-sized model um and it's got windows here a totally enclosed cab with heat and air with heated air i like that a lot look at this cushy seat this one is rated for 5500 pounds and this one has four-wheel steer like i think this one is equally small i'd say i would have to use this one like this is the most this is most equal to a skid steer and i actually like it because it's like side entry and you can go way taller than a skid steer but i would love to test this one out see how it does in the mud but the turning radius on this thing you can turn on a dime this one has a deutz diesel engine in it and honestly i'm very impressed with how easy it is to get to it and now moving on you have the big mom out here check this thing out all right so again fully enclosed cab this one's rated for 9 000 pounds i think this one went over 25 foot of reach yeah but this one is considerably bigger also four wheel steer way bigger tires this thing could make it through some stuff for sure yeah i like the windshield wiper on top that's my favorite part this one also has a deutz diesel engine in it but this one does have depth i'm assuming it's a little higher horsepower it's like forklift [Music] one thing that's super nice about these things is they all use skid steer attachments so all your existing skid steer attachments will work with these at least the smaller ones grant is going to be taking the medium sized one home uh he loves pulling trailers with his truck um and so we're hooking up to the fifth wheel trailer i do not like hooking up fifth wheel trailers i don't know it requires a precision and accuracy that i do not have so best of luck to you grant i underestimated you grant that was awesome it was probably because of the awesome person you had giving you hand signals [Music] i really like this one because it's like a forklift size but it has extreme off-road tires on it so you don't get stuck when it rains a little bit [Music] this thing turns so sharp [Music] so this is our def tank and during harvest we take it out of the shed to go fill up our machines and with these off-road tires we can go out in the field and not get stuck [Music] we popped the bale forks on the biggest one and we're going to see how they perform this is such a nice day outside the village all right you couldn't hear grant he said the visibility on this thing is fantastic wait for it there we go wow that um i believe was the last bail made it's kind of the smallest one out of the bunch cute though looking good
