That's why we are saying that when you will build a house hire a professional like an architect. When the finishing starts, the architects know the right combination and size of tiles and they know where the layout of tiles will start so that it will look good. The bathroom will look good when its lines from the wall, flooring, and all sides are straight. It looks good and neat. If it happens that your wall is not on the right angle then the tiles you bought are big on the wall and small on flooring. The strategy for that is to use a diamond laying out of tiles like this. The problem with the diamond layout if the layout is not good, sometimes, it has many wasted tiles. Sometimes, its cut tiles can't be used on other sides. So proper laying out is important here. Another tip for you. Sometimes, if you're buying tiles, and the tiles you bought are cheap it has small differences. It is not the same size. It is a big challenge for the tile setter if the tiles you bought have differences. They are having a difficult time laying it out. It is like this. If the tiles you bought have differences you will notice that some spaces of each tile are thick some are thin and some tiles are super close. There is no space for grout because the tile setter is having a hard time. They are adding and subtracting for the spacing. The problem is this. If you visit the house where the tile setter laid out and you have no idea that the problem is the tiles when you look at how he lay out the tiles your mindset is that the tile setter is not good because each space is different. Sometimes, the tiles are close to each other. The tile setter has a bad image there. So others that have been tile setters for a long time don't like that. They are mad about that. In saving on construction, structural finishes are different from architectural finishes. If you save on structural this is the size of footing, column and what rebar and concrete you will use. The thing you will compromise here is the strength of your house. In architectural finishes This is where you will save your tiles, paint the thing you will compromise here is the beauty of your house. To save on structural there is only one thing you can do. Change the design that I considered. For example, the rebars I used for column are 4 pieces of 16 mm diameter bars. You will replace it with 4 pieces of 10 mm diameter bars. You will save.
