the pooh overalls and then i use a lint roller to get rid of all the fuzzies and fold them up super neat and nice and once we're all folded i turn over to my shipping station which has all my supplies and i grab a matching goodie bag i pre-pack all my goodie bags because it saves me a ton of time when i have lots of items to pack so this purple one looks good inside i have a hair tie some cute matching clips and a jolly rancher and next i grab a postcard and a custom rogue sticker the back of my postcard has a little thank you note with all my handles and once that's set i secure everything inside of a clear poly bag and i tuck the goodie bag inside so it doesn't get crushed and then i pick out a poly mailer that fits tuck everything inside there and then we're all done quick and efficient stay tuned for part two how i ship out my depop orders so now that our package is ready for shipment i go ahead and measure it by length and width it is about eight by eight and then i weigh it it's about 15 ounces and then i head over to pirateship.com and i click create a single label i've already copied my customer's info so i go ahead and paste it in and then i scroll down to type of packaging and i select envelope and then i enter the dimensions and weight of my package that we just took and i click get rates and once the pricing looks good i click buy label and then i print it out and then i grab my label and stick it on my package and i've already got a few prepped items that are ready to go so now i'm going to head to the post office drop them off get my receipt and then we're all done so today i'm going to show you how we pack our orders first we get our cardboard cylinders and silk exfoliating gloves then we cut up small pieces of foam with every my go-to glove our customers receive a free rose quartz crystal which promotes self-love and worth we then place the glove foam and crystal on top of one another and roll them up together the bundle is then placed into the cylinder we then pop a card that explains the meaning and purpose of the crystal inside our eco-friendly packaging along with the cylinder we then print off the shipping label and stick it to the package and it's ready to go so [Music] hear me out i want it to be like this like this and like that that was my goal and let me tell you six months later since i started my business that is me now michael's back then and me right now um so hey guys today i'm working on a pretty big custom order for my tie-dye etsy shop cloudy dies this order is eight matching pink tie-dye sets for a customer's birthday party vacation trip i decided to go with a two-tone pink design for an extra pop of color and dimension for something special i decided to do for this order was to create personalized name stickers for each person in the order this is a great way that i can give back give them something personalized and special and also indicate whose set belongs to who i use my ipad pro in my cricut machine to die cut these stickers this part is so satisfying and very difficult to film with one hand as i pack the order i lint roll every single piece and fold it very nicely so that it is absolutely perfect before it gets into my customers hands i package each set individually with a thank you card as well as those name stickers that we just created if you guys want to check out my you how i package my clothes as a small business owner today somebody got these two gorgeous tie-dye dresses so first i start with washing my hands with alcohol you know cause corona out there and shop so yeah just nicely fold the dresses make it all cute and shut also i want to do a tic-tac giveaway because i have been getting a bunch of orders through tick tock um so and i never done a tick tock giveaway so if you guys have any suggestions on how to do it let me know in the comments below and the next video will be about the giveaway anyways i sealed it with one of my customized stickers and it wasn't really fitting into this bag here so i had to switch it out to my bigger bag and with every order i do add a customized stinky card um just let them know about my monthly pr box giveaway i do and just my social media links then i put it inside a black poly mailer bag just so i won't have to put the shipping label on my actual packaging and yeah this is how i ship my orders as a small business owner [Music] [Music] i do my own nails checked [Music] uh so let's take a look at some products in my shop right now first off we have banana milk which is a thick and glossy slime scented exactly like bananas it's been my best seller in my shop for about a year now and it's so thick and glossy and pokeable and i love it so much next up we have cotton candy mallows which has been in my shop for about three years now it is so good and it's so thick and glossy and it smells just like cotton candy i love the bead color combination too next up we have blue cupcake icing just like on candy mallows this has been in my shop for about three years now it smells just like cupcakes and it's also a customer favorite [Music] so this lovely just bought four earrings and it's probably the largest order i've ever had right now she bought my toxic heart earrings my crystal prism earrings small heart earrings and lastly my cute bunny earrings here's it all packaged and we just add a cute little thank you sticker and since this is a large order i added a second tea light to her order then here's a handwritten letter with a business card inside and a sticker thank you so much for the support it really means a lot sometimes having a small business isn't as glamorous as it seems could be doing the same minuscule task over and over again or could be filming a tick tock on your coffee mug and it falling over doesn't matter what it is it's not always fun so i want other small creators to use this sound and show their followers something that they don't even like doing that's part of their small business it's okay to not like every step of the journey [Applause] so so all right we are going for round two of hand painting a bible cover this is a fully custom order and as you can see i pulled up the customer's digital sketch on my ipad this customer chose a sage background with some blush orange and white florals a lot of you guys asked in the last video where i get the solid colored bibles and actually we buy them with designs on them and just paint over them with a solid color background also a big thanks to all of our new followers we are already at 10 000. i'm thinking about doing a giveaway to celebrate let me know in the comments if you guys would be down for that a few other questions i got was what brush and paint do i use and i always say you don't need expensive materials to create beautiful art i just buy all my materials from your basic craft stores like michaels and hobby lobby paint brush is from a value pack of round tip brushes and the paint is acrylics tip use a little bit of water to thin it out a bit anyways i hope that answers some of your questions like for round three this is my biggest order yet she got the mighty fossa top the halo top and angelina top and i write her a cute handwritten note with some stickers and a scrunchie and wrap it up a gift thank you so much gizelle i appreciate you alright friends let's pack an order so you guys have already seen me make this set um so i'm not gonna go through it again but this is how i package my standard nail so 10 nails it goes into a hollow sleeve and here's me grabbing the bubble mailer this is actually something new that i'm doing i ordered a lot of tissue paper and i wasn't going to do anything with them except for pr and i think that's kind of a waste so i'm just going to start wrapping my orders like this it comes with the application kit a note the instruction and i'm really struggling to fold this up without ripping that tissue paper and then add a sticker just so nothing falls out the packing slip also comes with the order everything goes into a holographic bubble mailer and then shipping label and then it gets shipped out today i'll be packaging her lucky ducky bundle it includes this yellow horse scrunchie this adorable pair of ducky earrings our ducky gloss which actually matches the scrunchie and this ducky necklace here's our luxe package so hey guys so today i'm going to show you guys how i make my earrings somebody ordered the gold gummy bear earrings but i'm going to show you guys how i make my gold butterfly earrings which are actually free with every purchase so if you're about to order something off my shop just know that you're going to get one of these for free so after i make the gold butterfly earrings i just added that all into an organza bag with the gummy bear earrings which you guys can see in this clip and then i add a sticker and after that i just wrap everything in wrapping paper sorry it doesn't look the best it's just kind of hard to do with a tripod in the way but that's basically what i do i just wrap it in the wrapping paper and then afterwards i take a business card and write a cute little note thank you guys for ordering because it means a lot to me and then i just add it onto a mailer and i ship it off so that's basically everything i do i'm really worried right now so i've been wanting to open an etsy store for years and recently i spent over 500 in supplies the problem is it seems like as soon as i did that nobody was seeing my art anymore i get like 20 likes on a video now [Music]
