SkyFly Soar America Full Ride Review - Pigeon Forge, TN

hey everybody welcome to floyd family adventures and today we're going to break down the sky fly and actually show you what the experience is like but we want to answer a couple questions first first one i often get here is well what is skyflight how would you describe it so skyfly is very similar to disney soarin ride it's just a very relaxing ride where you get to go over and see different parts of america and you'll find it in the island of pigeon forge another question we often see is well how much is it so i'm going to freeze the screen here for you to help you out at the time of this video it's 23 for adults 18 for kids and if there's any discounts i'll put those in the link description below so read that another question is how tall do you have to be and you can see here 40 inches you cannot ride 55 you have to be with an adult 55 or under they do have a cutoff of 76 inches so nba players might find it hard to get on this ride so you can start to look at the experience here you go in the full experience is actually they would say about 30 minutes 30 to 40 minutes long the actual ride is only six minutes but again this is how you kind of come in you start you get photos at the end you'll get to see all the photos and here's kind of a look at the cue as you go through line there's tvs everywhere they kind of have a little bit of a story what do you what do you think of the kind of story aspect it's very cute and it keeps you entertained while you're waiting to go on your ride it's good for the family very family friendly yep so it's not as interactive as like soaring with the games they do but it gives you something to kind of watch and be a part of the full experience so i'll give you a little preview of what it's like [Music] hello again fellow travelers my daughter and i are just getting the airship ready for your voyage it appears my brain is working properly now papa's referring to his binary responsive audio interface network this custom-built voice-activated guidance system is new and has been a little glitchy lately but it looks like it's just about ready to go okay so now at this point we're gonna go on the first part of the ride which is getting on the tram so we'll go ahead and give you a look at what that's like [Music] i'm so proud of you and i'm so thrilled to share this journey with our brave travelers and repairs well we should go get changed into our flight attire and head into the cockpit now [Music] how's the flight control circuitry looking hannah i'm afraid you wired some of the circuits well that would certainly explain a thing or two shouldn't we fix that before next fight but unfortunately we have no time not to worry though i'll just remember to steer left when i want to go right and steer down when i want to go up or is it up and i want to go right and then oh the time machine is figured into this is worse perhaps it's forward when i want to go tuesday [Music] okay stop stop focus this is not really serving anyone at this point i've figured it out don't you worry i am worried [Music] [Music] everybody [Music] in just a moment the doors to the airship's passengers cabin will open that will be your cue to come aboard and take your seats be sure to stow all carry-on items in the under-seated apartment that includes carriers purses hats backpacks shopping bags and any other items you wouldn't want to lose during your flight next fasten your seatbelts pull the belts through the center loop before buckling by the way if any of you have a fear of flying hats or awesome adventures you can wait for the rest of the party at the end just signal one of our flight technicians and they'll be happy to assist you well it looks like we covered everything excellent then it's time to embark on our journey enjoy your flights travelers and welcome to the future of flying [Music] um [Music] [Music] i did want to pause the video at this point just to give you a better look at the seats if you had any mobility issues you got a pretty wide aisle that you can get in and out and the staff was very patient helping you get buckled in it wasn't like trying to rush in and rush you out so if you're concerned about trying to get in there it's well lit so you can see and the size of the seats uh you as you can see here i felt like they were pretty adequate so there's no weight limit but that's something you could talk to the staff about when you go to get your ticket [Music] i've been prepared for this eventuality we go [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] videos [Music] [Music] oh my god oh [Music] oh you go so [Music] uh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Applause] oh my god that was crazy [Music] island [Music] oh [Music] how was it fun i liked it you can get these how much are these 14.99 you can get some awesome goggles did you like it oh those are pretty cool look at these ones down here these are fun and then we got a bunch of magnets here these are actually all the places that it went this was the uh bristol motor speedway that was actually pretty neat you could actually smell tires which it doesn't pick up in the video but we went over the everglades down in hawaii and uh you could take home a great smoky mountains skyfly magnet for 7.99 so micah out of all the places we went on the ride which one was your favorite the motor speedway that one was really cool i would say some of these water effects were really cool the niagara falls that actually sprayed water out oh these are kind of cool got these steampunk spectacles no glue needed so that these would be fun to do on a vacation in your room when there's rain or down time this is kind of cool you got a it's like a leather mug it's got pigeon forge there oh and then they have a bunch of stuffed animals in the gift shop which one would you pick if you could pick any one of these guys you got a bear looks like a moose an otter and oh look at this guy that's a cute little eagle it's a great take home it's very is he soft what do you think oh yeah he's really soft it's a nice little eagle got some really cool wood kits this would be really neat would you want to do this one yes that looks really cool this is this wooden airship classical 3d wooden airship so that kind of wraps up our video hopefully that gives you a good idea of what this experience is like we really enjoyed it the question we see is is it scary like is it little kids gonna be scared or what do you think how would you answer that well i would say our daughter seemed a little nervous going in but she actually really enjoyed it and had a great time it's real slow moving real relaxing so i would say it's not scary yeah and our kids are 9 11 and 12 all three of them enjoyed it and i don't like roller coasters but i enjoyed this and the last question we often see is well you know 23 dollars a ticket for adults is it worth it um i would say when you compare it to let's say the jurassic park the jurassic boat ride and pigeon forge or like the earthquake in gatlinburg if you said would you want to do one of those or this i would definitely do this i think it's a really unique experience so that wraps up our
