I am not convinced he that he didn't get parasites the way he was cooking those mudbugs. I hope he took precautions because some common parasites in bottom feeders like those have a tendency to infect the brain.
You can arrange all the "primitive technology" knockoffs from slightly weird like this one to super fucking creepy like "jungle survival" and "primitive survival"
Not to take anything away from this guy, but (assuming he's legit and isn't cheating off-camera) comparing his progress to the Primitive Technology guy it really brings home how much of a technological advantage a good metal blade (and presumably a supply of sharpening stones) really is.
Ive watched the making of the bird trap thing at around the 15.50 mark several times and I still have no clue how it works.

These types of videos are usually interesting because you get to learn how something is made, ways to prepare the material, etc. Knowledge that is foreign to most people. Eating with mouth open half of the video and making disgusting sounds is not one of those things many of us want to learn.
