[Music] hey lovelies welcome back to another tutorial I have used a glass pool and a couple of my bullets and many of you have asked me if I could make a tutorial out this I ran a girl the talented MT Simms came up with a glass pool idea for an ocean pool and Salani and I transferred this idea to a regular pool so this is kind of my own spin on this please make sure to check out empty Sims Instagram tutorial for his pool in his channel down below in the description box so without further ado we will start down and first we have to activate your cheats the BB dad show hidden objects cheat empty BB dad move objects cheat so you opened the cheat console and have in both cheats one after another so now that we have entered all the cheese we are going to build a foundation and you can make this as big or small as you like you it totally depends on what kind of pool you want to fold I'm just going for this size now so you build your foundation and you raise it a little bit so it looks like this then you go through the pool and we simply build a pool inside the foundation so now we have something like this and of course we want you to make this translucent so it looks like a glass pool so what we're going to do is we go to the foundation area and because we have entered the BB dad show hidden objects sheet we are now seeing this foundation here this foundation is usually not visible but after entering the cheat you can see it and it's part of city living and you can simply apply it so now we have something like this and it looks really fancy but not really like last release so we have to create the illusion of glass but first we will add another foundation in the back and there are a couple of things that you have to keep in mind so when you add your foundation like this for example and now you want to change the color of this foundation to I don't know let's say a grey this happens and of course we don't want that because it's going to ruin the glass pool so what you can do is you build your foundation just next to it then you apply it the color then you pick it up and you simply place it like this and then you can simply change the size and what you can also do let's say you have a foundation like this and you simply want to change the color but this foundation is already existing and you don't want to get rid of it you are going to do it the same way he simply built a foundation and you make sure that it has roughly the same size you then apply the color and then you pick it up and you can simply replace it like this so this way you don't get rid of the Glasspool and you can add foundations around it this is a little bit tricky but it's not too bad now we are going to do the same in the back because of course we also want to have a foundation in the back and now we pick it up and replace it like this and now we have the glass pool of course you could also leave the sides open just like you've seen in the something area so this is totally down to personal preference we can do that now I can simply put a wall here and then I should be able to get rid of this foundation and now we have the same issue here so what you are doing now I'm just showing you all these things in case you're running into any of these problems here you can see we have seven Heights so I'm going to make this just as big and then I applied the city living foundation the translucent one and I place it here and it's the same method so this way you can simply change the color I know that it's a little bit more tricky than just applying the color in a regular way but this is kind of a fun little workaround in case you want to change the colors so now we have something like this and of course we have to create the illusion of a glass pour so what we are going to do is we use a spa day object and you can find it here in the water objects section and it's the food illumination system and when you use this object and when you size it up a little bit it's just perfect you create some type of ash at the bottom it just makes it look more like glass so it doesn't look like some weird wonky translucent or Foundation so I'm going to add those all around the pool now and now it looks like this and as you can tell it already looks much better if you don't own spa day and if you still want to create some type of edge at the bottom I can recommend the white base game shelf that was added in a free patch a while ago so you can simply use this shelf down here and you can place it and if you try to place it like this you can see that it simply disappears but for some reason when you take a look from this side and when you then try to place the shelf like this and then you change the camera bag it magically works I have no idea why but I just figured this hard so then you simply place it like this you do it all the way down there and I think it looks totally great it's not even a bad alternative or something because sometimes the alternative isn't really the best choice and I still kind of prefer this body lighting strats because I think it's super cool that they are illuminated when it's dark but this is really great and I can totally recommend it so in case you don't own spa day you can simply use these base game shelves and now we have to place an object in the corner this once again makes it look more like glass and there are multiple options so one option is to use another city living object it's called a low me post it just some type of column but it's not in the regular column section you can find it under decorations and then you can simply place it in the corner and you size it down like this and then you can place it and if the science kind of doesn't fit you can also place another one and you simply raise it like this and then you have a nice kind of column in the corner another object that I really like to use is a get-together object so this is kind of another option in case you're on the pack even though the column here is probably the best choice because this looks like some type of pipe because this is what it's supposed to be but this is also a great object so you can also simply place it in the corner like this and it looks great so it's kind of down to personal preference another way to fix the issue with the height because as you can see the subject is sticking out at the top and for this object the pool is kind of too high you can also simply move the foundation down a bit you lower the height so what we are going to do is we click on the pool we click on this little arrow and we move it down a bit and now I'm going to size this one step down and then I will take a look and it looks completely fine so you can simply adjust the height of the pool to whatever object you like to use in the corner so this is it guys I hope that you enjoyed this video if you have any questions it's always leave a comment down below and I will get back to you thank you so much for watching I hope you have a fantastic week and I hope this year in the next video bye-bye [Music] [Music] [Music]
