Sims 4 CRUISE SHIP [No CC!] - Sims 4 Speed Build | Kate Emerald

[Music] [Music] hey lovelies it's kate welcome back to another sims 4 speed build i decided to work on a pretty over-the-top build and once again this is something that i saw on pinterest so usually i just take a bit of inspiration and i do my own thing but my last build was this over the top tree house and this was a picture that i had seen on pinterest so often over the years that i just finally wanted to tackle it and this here is the same i have saved this picture so many times and i finally decided to build this recently i have really enjoyed to work on different builds to really challenge myself not just mansions i mean mansions are really fun and soon i'm also going to work on a mansion again but i just wanted to be really creative and to have fun with this and this is why i decided to build this gigantic ship on a 64 by 60 fallout it's the one in delsa valley so this is technically a build that you could use as a rental lot there's a 64 by 64 lot in server dorado for example unfortunately there isn't one in solani otherwise i would have definitely built this ship in solani but the biggest lot size in solani is 50 by 50 i believe so i decided to build this on my favorite lot because i just knew right from the beginning when i took a look at the reference that i just need all the space so i tried to follow the reference but i still wanted to turn this into into a propagate emerald build so i took inspiration but i still did my own thing also when you translate something like this into the sims 4 there's just some stuff that isn't really working out and that you can't 100 recreate so i did my own thing here and i started off by working on the front of the ship there's a word for this that i don't know like i don't know i have no idea about chips to be honest like i have no idea i just um i just decided to build one okay so the main idea you already saw this gigantic thing in the beginning the idea is to have some type of cruise ship and then there is a gigantic mountain on top of the ship which kind of looks like a volcano including a waterfall then you have these cute little tiki hats or something on top and then there will be some just some cabins to stay in below deck so there's a lot of stuff going on and i just thought that it's so fun that it's like pretty modern and futuristic but at the same time it's really tropical i just really enjoyed to have this mix and i wanted to work on the glass pool at first the main issue here is that it's a glass pool and it's round and we can build around things like i just did here using the pristine pedestal but we can't build a round proper pool so what i did as you can see here is i built a pool and then i used lots of windows and the size these windows down you can see that they are really tiny down there and then i used the tumor to make them so tiny they are invisible but they are still there they're just so tiny that you can see them if you don't like to use the tool mod but if you would like to recreate something like this i can just recommend you sash them down the way i did before using the true mod and then you can always just hide them they're really small so this shouldn't be an issue so now i have a normal pool shape using just diagonal walls it's just a regular pool but because i've used these windows and i've turned the watts translucent in combination with the round shape that i've created using the pristine pedestal from get famous and the spot is the negative slab it just creates the illusion of a round glass pool and this was really difficult as i said not because of the round shape i really love to create them you know this but i had no idea at first how to create this round glass look and then i just thought okay i'm just going to turn the pool warts translucent and then in combination with these round shapes it should kind of do the job and create the illusion and i was so happy when this worked out and then i wanted to add some type of railing and this is a debug object this is a fence from city living you just have to take a look at the debug objects the debug menu and then filter by city living and the cool thing is when you have events like this it just doesn't follow a like certain shape or logic you can just place them yourself otherwise when you build a fence you have to just have a diagonal fans or straight fans or you attach a fence to a rounded floppies for example but this is just a regular object so i just placed them however i wanted to in this way i was able to create a round railing going all around these pristine pedestals and then i started to work on the shape a little more here i'm using the sparta stony goodness lab and here at this point i just knew that i would really like to keep going that i really want to finish this build because sometimes i have an idea i built something i don't like it then i just i just bulldozed the whole thing but here i was so happy and so pleased after almost a whole day of placing so many objects i was so happy that i knew that this could be something and i just hope that you like the result so i didn't include the whole footage of placing all these pristine pedestals this is why i just faded in the video to just to the next step kind of because this really took a long time like i really like this i've talked about this before but this took a long time just placing all these objects then i had to change their position a little bit using tools sometimes so this was kind of the most tedious part after this it was okay and then i placed a canvas down there this is just a base scheme canvas that can be found in the debug menu as well and i would hated this object using tool and this way i created the whole outside of the ship i think it's called hull i don't know as i said no idea about chips so this is how i created the whole outside and this whole shape the thing is here at this point i thought okay this kind of looks like a ship like it's really futuristic we have this glass pool and here i'm starting to work on the river but the more i added to this build especially the tiki hearts and different things i figured okay this isn't really looking like a ship anymore but then when you look at the reference it also doesn't really look like a ship because it's just a render just a really over-the-top futuristic idea but at some point i wasn't really sure if this is working out and i really wanted this to look like a boat but a ship but i hope it kind of worked out at least and here these white things are a object from get together it's like a rock essentially and you can use it anywhere it's supposed to be used in a pool but i like to use it anywhere and here i'm working on the shape a bit but i'm going to change this a lot like i wasn't really sure what to do and then i realized later on that i had to make the whole area at the top a lot bigger to include all the stuff and i also decided to use a couple of roofs just to have a decoration when you look at the reference there are lots of round shapes on the side like the whole layout is really different and i at least wanted to create a bit of this look just trying to recreate it by using some roofs also a word of advice if you have no idea when you click on a roof and when you then press shift c on your keyboard you are unlocking the advanced roof controls so you can do like create some other shapes which is just amazing whenever i'm using a round roof like this one like if i want to make it round like a keyboard roof a half gigabyte proof it doesn't matter i'm always pressing shift c so i have advanced controls you can just create so many wonderful shapes so you should totally try it like after watching this video go to your game select a roof and press shift c if you haven't done this before you will love it it's just wonderful and also really easy you just have advanced controls it's like not any more difficult or something it's really really amazing so that's what i did for all the roofs that i used on the side of the ship i'm going to change a couple of things about this later on and here i place the waterfall this is an animated debug object from discover university so if you want to use this or if you want this to like show up in your game when you download this build from the gallery you need discover university the expansion pack so there are lots of different things in the debug menu and this is one of them we have three animated waterfalls and total in this game two are part of discover university and one is part of island living and you can just select them place them they are animated and wonderful you just can't see this here because i'm just in build mode and i just placed this so in the reference we have this kind of river in the center and then in the back there is some type of mountain which almost looks like a volcano and i didn't recreate the complete shape i just did my own thing like i have a lot of spikes going on in my little water volcano and then i just added more objects so these rocks are also debug objects so you can also find them in the debug menu and these are mainly from journey 2.2 and you can see that some of them look different like this one that i just placed which has some more like beige colored rocks and this one also has a door it's like some type of specialty back object from gen 2 but you and i just decided to hide the doors essentially so i just wanted to place them this way and then i was done and i saved this build to my library i always do this like i'm really anxious about like losing a save file i have like i don't know 30 versions of one build in my library i always save it to my library save the game in general i'm like really anxious about this i once lost a save file and even when this happens when a safe file is corrupted and gone as long as you saved a bill to your library you should be good so this is why i do this all the time so i placed all these debug rocks including the special one from 22.2 like special because it just has a door as i said it looks different and then i saved this to my library and i noticed that there are like some weird red lines in the gallery thumbnail and i thought okay that's weird and i was kind of starting to investigate and i went into a free camp mode like where you can just fly around and i like went down and looked up at this volcano and i saw that below these special debug rocks there was like something red flickering pulsating some type of light which is some type of animation which is a part of the special debug rock and you can only see it from below and sometimes from the side so i then ended up replacing all these kind of specialty bug rocks with some regular debug rocks from journey 2.2 so if you should use some journey to debug rugs this is like a warning you have to be careful with the one that has like a door unless you don't mind the red lines but it looked really weird so then i decided that i totally have to build a bridge because your sims have to be able to cross the river and this was really difficult because i built this flop piece in the center on a different level and you are running into conflicting block clusters when you do this so i open up the whole build so i was able to build a room a flop piece on top then i deleted the room and i was able to bring this flop piece up by clicking on the arrow and it's kind of untethered from the rest of the build and then i had to fill the hole i couldn't build a pool below because then again conflicting block clusters so i used this hot spring from snowy escape i was a bit sad that i couldn't use a pool because these rocks are kind of disrupting the whole look but then again i have so many rocks at the edge of my river my volcano everywhere so i figured okay why not i'm just going to use this hot spring and this was kind of the best solution because otherwise it would have been impossible to build a functional bridge later on i'm going to use a debug object from island living to hide this and to just make it look a bit more tropical and beautiful and then i started to landscape a bit and this was difficult because i didn't want to go overboard and i mainly focused on the area at the volcano and i'm going to remove the other hot springs eventually and there is a super cool debug object which looks like just a pile of sand and i use this as you will see which was super fun to make it look like a cute little beach i just love this build so much it's just so different and weird and then it was time to build some hats later on as you will see i'm going to just furnish them by adding beds and stuff so these are like some fancy hotel rooms so i guess if you are like super rich as a sim you can stay in these and then below deck you have like the regular rooms including some family rooms with a lot of space but i mean it would be super cool to just stay up there right next to the pool and the fancy volcano also speaking of volcanoes i spoke to phantasms and in case you don't know who phantasm is you should totally check her out she is so unbelievably talented i'm going to link her social media like her youtube her twitter i'm going to link all her stuff down below you should totally check her out she's so talented and she does the most amazing creations using tulle alongside sadie she's like the true queen just like sadie they're both the two queens of our opinion and fanta does really create a staff using tool and she's generally so talented and creative and i saw that she had used animated lava in one of her builds on multiple builds and i stumbled upon this and i thought hey this would be so cool maybe for this build and then i messaged her and she told me that she found some hidden back objects inside arnie's world mod so when you download them or when you use them they are like no cc and anyone can use these objects and you don't even need the mod even though the mod is of course also totally amazing arnie is just wonderful such a talented modder and she actually uploaded the lava to her gallery and yeah check her out check out the lava just check out everything at first i wanted to use the lava and this is also what i told her that i'm working on a build where i might want to use it but it just didn't make any sense because of the water this is like a really futuristic build and when you look at the render it's all about the water volcano the river flowing into the glass pool and it didn't make a lot of sense to combine the lava with all the water i mean i could have done that but i don't know just it just didn't look right to me i just didn't want to do this eventually but i still of course had to tell you about phantasms about her amazing creations and the lava and just everything so yeah shout out to her and check out her her youtube and just everything and also like when i'm saying this like when i'm giving a shout out i'm like always i'm always honest to you like i'm always like oh my god these people are so talented and i mean it but let me tell you like fanta she's like it's like top tier it's just unbelievable you will be like well this is possible and it's like no cc and she used tool to create this you just let me tell you you just won't believe it you just you will be your jaw will drop and yeah say hi like tell her i say hi like when you go over there we are saying hi she's wonderful so here i just added the beach like the sand which is all city black object if i'm not mistaken this is from jungle adventure so i just created this little flower bed which also looks like a little beach just to create this beach feeling and i added lots of plants so it looks really tropical i also wanted to build a round bar this one is from journeytuber2 i've also used all these debuggers from dranituba2 and then i decided to use the bar and a lot of people love this bar like whenever i'm using it when i post a picture or when i'm using it in a video a lot of people are like oh where's this bar from i want to have it and i'm like yeah drink triple two and a lot of people are like oh but i didn't really like this pack maybe i should get it i feel like there was so much such a big controversy around you and youtuber too and i get it like especially gameplay wise but when it comes to build buy this pack really served like there are so many amazing things especially for a game pack we don't have a lot of built by in a game pack generally but there's some really cool stuff and the same goes for the my first pet stuff stuff pack like all these shades and these the little coffee table and the sofa i mean sometimes people have a really strong opinion about a pack and i mean why not as i said especially gameplay-wise when it comes to drink too i totally get this but like look at the build buy if you're a builder you should like definitely always just take a look at build buy and not just think i don't know the general opinion oftentimes is like a lot of the times about gameplay i feel like but i mean if you like builders who literally just use the game messy building simulator really just of any different world i feel like and i always tell you this like when a pack camp comes out and that's like really valid criticism just like for virginia too for example i always tell you that i'm not playing the game and i always give you like advice and my opinion about build buy and a lot of the times there's just great build buy i actually feel like built by has just gotten so much better in general i've talked about this before all the textures and stuff i'm just blown away by some of the stuff like for the paranormal stuff pick for example like look at the sofas the textures all the details it's just wonderful and built by has just gotten better and better and yeah built by is just amazing in the sims 4. you just can't deny it it's like when it comes to building sims 4's probably the best i know that for gameplay sims 2 is considered to be the best most of the times but building is just the best in sims 4 and when sims 5 comes out one day i just hope that it will be just as good for building and i hope that the gameplay will be just as good as instance 2 or just better i just hope that everyone can be happy when sims 5 comes out one day i don't know i just know that i'm ready i'm just ready for anything new you guys know this i'm always happy you know what if a pack comes out or if it's some fire for paralyzed i'm just here to try something new it's always so much fun also speaking of trying new things i've talked about this before my mom is a simmer when i started to play the game when sims 1 came out she also started to play the game and i have so many good memories about just being a kid and we played sims 1 and then all systems 2 when it came out and i just built something i've always been building this is like my thing as you know and yeah like the building simulator i've always really enjoyed to build i also like gameplay i just only built these days this is all i do like i put all my love and you into building and this youtube channel but i also actually really enjoy gameplay and i also enjoy sims 4 gameplay i really like it actually but i i'm just building and when i started to play i also built a lot i've always done that and my mom is the same she's also a builder i feel like there are always different player types and some people are builders and others are storytellers and all that just my style is just like for the spark challenges and i feel like this is always the case even if you like mix it up you're always like there's always a tendency to one of these types i guess and my mom is also a builder and she's always loved building and she always played on pc but then for sims 4 she switched to console to ps4 and she also builds all these things but she always noticed that they are like all these mods like true for example and the open world mod by rne like different things and she like i've also told her about all these different mods and all the stuff that's out there also stuff that i'm not using and of course also cc and back then she also used cc for sims 3. and then she finally decided to switch to sims 4 on pc like a i don't know a couple of days ago or something and we were on the phone for four hours and i just told her what to do and how to unzip a zip file and how to like use mods and then she installed empty command center and i told her like step by step how to enable all sheets by default and all these things and then taught her how to use tool like the basics and she started to just play around using tool and i was so excited about this a lot of fun and now she's like full blown addicted to cc like we've all been there anyone who who's used a cc like in the past or right now you all know the struggle once you just start to ucc you can't stop and like all she does like when i call her she's like yeah i downloaded my cc and then a file was broken but i figured out which one and i installed more and she sent me pictures and i'm like oh my god i want you like i want this to be my life i want you to love the cc life again i like really used lots of cc back then but then i started to do youtube and i was like nope i'm just going to use what the game has to offer which is also quite challenging and you just have to be creative and i feel like my interiors have improved a bit because this was really difficult for me in the beginning because i was so used to just ucc and when i saw pictures like there was a round bathtub and like some type of curtain above and i was like oh my god this is so beautiful and i'm just a sucker for alpha cc i know a lot of people don't like it a lot of people are like maxi's match just makes more sense it looks better and that's like true it matches the game and the game's aesthetic but i just love alpha cc like when i styled my sims in case you have no idea what i did like all these alpha hair and i just love this so much and when i saw her alpha cc like the best top and stuff i was like oh my god this is so beautiful i just love this so much fun i just love that she just i just made her being addicted to cece i guess now she's just downloading ccr day if you have any good cc recommendations for my mom just let me know in the comments like i recommended her stuff from hey harry and peacemaker and feliksandra i don't know how to say this is he called felix felix andrew i have no idea i mean his stuff looks french i know that i think he's german he's just so talented when i showed her his stuff he was like omg what is happening and she just stared at all her stuff i i've showed her all the stuff this it's just so much fun to see her just being so excited about the game again like it's i just love this and i just had to tell you because this is like this is what has been going on in my life i'm like not even the cc expert maybe like back in the day but now i have no idea what's going on like i'm on twitter and i see all these amazing creators and i just know the big names and i see all this amazing stuff but i'm like not the expert so i just told her about the big names and some stuff that i know about and she also got a tsr account and just downloaded everything so yeah this is it
