Simple Garden Planter Made From Pallets

I've been jotting down a few ideas for some garden planners so you know you can use different pieces you can cut these shorter and the bottom longer or you can use two pellets and make this thing really high or really wide in this case I'm just using one pallet and then I'm going to bust down one more and get some boards for here let's do that now you only need a couple so I'm just gonna use my miter saw to cut these side pieces which you could use a handsaw or jigsaw oh this is what it looks like so far not bad for some scrapple it up let's continue inside these holes here like this I'm cutting boards and fitting them down here I'll show you why when it's all complete and this large stretcher that I took off the pallet it's going to be a foot here in there so I've got a cut like that okay so you can see I've got it on its new feet there and I've got it roughly in place where I want to keep it and in the bottom I just took some of the split boards and pista meant to fill out the bottom to hold the weight of the sod or soil rather okay now I'm ready to go ahead and line this with the black plastic and fill it up with dirt very simple don't work great though I'm gonna cut some drainage holes where the flowers go I'm gonna cut slits in the black plastic and allow for drainage on the bottom then I'm gonna fill it with a little bit of rocks yep okay I've got my holes in the bottom a little bit of gravel and then I have some mulch on top of that in the little compartments and in the big tray so that should do it for drainage now we just got to start adding topsoil all that plus a little bit of peat moss well the dirts in I haven't filled the four sides yeah I might use planners and those I'm not sure yet I've also decided to put all tomatoes in this except for the flowers on the front and the reason why I'm using flowers I'm going to put marigolds in the little pockets here and I hear that it cuts down on pests like rabbits and stuff like that getting into your your Tomatoes I don't know it's just a experiment and it will also look nice with flowers on the side so it's time to put flowers in it looks good oh my tomato plants are planted now and I think it looks really good I don't have like front miracles planted yet but I think I'm gonna put them at need yeah that's nice anyway we're due for some high winds in the next couple day so bat down hatches and there's the completed pellet planter all Tomatoes
