I'm Zero Kazama this is not a game show this is silent library [Applause] [Music] meet the Flair's late night host Jimmy Fallon and his house band the roots MC black dot drummer Questlove guitarist Kirk percussionist Frank knuckles and bassist Owen six friends one team playing for thousands of dollars in cash all in the name of charity the players draw cards and the one who gets the skull and crossbones must endure an unusual punishment if he completes a challenge the team wins money but if he fails or if his teammates make too much noise they kiss it goodbye round one the challenges are worth three hundred dollars of highest importance silence begin the contestant must play a harmonica that's stuck in a fish's mouth for 30 seconds [Laughter] [Laughter] your execution was flawed no money Questlove fell apart so the team loses challenge number one no money yet for the guys the contestant must have three frosted cupcakes snapped against his face [Laughter] [Laughter] [Laughter] you're brave but your friends laugh like hyenas you lose blacked out and the guys lose again they still have no money whatsoever [Laughter] [Music] the contestant must receive a pizza delivery and suffer the consequences you screamed you lose Jimmy and the guys and round one with another loss they move ahead with $0 up next Owen gets licked and Jimmy gets scuffed when silent library continues welcome back to silent library Jimmy Fallon and the Routh spent route 1 laughing and boozing drunk all three challenges in the process remember whoever gets the skull and crossbones best punished and they're playing as a team round two challenges are now worth $400 each but obey this rule silence resume play [Applause] [Laughter] the contestant has 45 seconds to stuff an entire six-foot hero into his pants your lack of success has led to failure no money Jimmy couldn't stuff the meat the guys lose yet again and still have no money at all the contestant must have his ears licked by a vibrating cow tongue for 20 seconds your deal ends in triumph oh and finally earns a win for the guys they now have 400 dollars to share the contestant must jump on a trampoline and crush a small capsule with his body [Music] [Laughter] you forgot the golden rule silence you fail Owens invasion ends in a loss the winning stands still at $400 still to come Frank orders a big breakfast and Jimmy gets a scare when silent library returns welcome back to the library Jimmy Fallon and the roots were off to an embarrassing start until Owens tongue-lashing ended the track they now have $400 keep in mind everyone must remain quiet and they're playing together as a team round three each challenge is now worth $800 and remember silence continue [Applause] the contestant must be smacked by a scarecrow for 20 seconds your pain will not go unrewarded you win Jimmy gets the guys back on track they add 800 bucks for a total of 12 the contestant must spend 20 seconds riding a bicycle that shoots tennis balls at his face as he pedals [Applause] [Music] you made the sound of a little girl fail Questlove lost it so the guys lose the challenge the total stays put at $1,200 [Applause] [Laughter] [Music] while holding a stack of pancakes the contestant must be shot with butter maple syrup banana slices blueberries and whipped cream [Applause] [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Laughter] that was a mess you lose the guys were too loud so they drop another one after the third round they only have $1,200 coming up Jimmy Fallon and the roots ride off into the sunset when silent library returns we're back with the final round of silent library today Jimmy Fallon in the routes have been shot lick dance back but they just can't stay quiet their total stands at $1200 as always whoever gets the wrong card gets punished and they're playing together for the cash final round only one challenge worth $1,000 and keep in mind silence finish the game in this challenge five contestants must endure the punishment and only one teammate is safe the five contestants must ride a bicycle until each of their seats inflates and explodes [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] you failed but since you're playing for charity today you win all the money the guys end the day on a high note they wind up with the largest possible amount a grand total of 5,500 bucks congratulations Jimmy Fallon in the roots you survived silent library [Music] have you won some cash for your favorite charities not bad for a day at the library [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
