Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
There has been SIGGRAPHs since the 70s and they've been furiously videotaping these lectures and courses and such since the 70s, and all of those videotaped lectures and lessons are all buried away and hidden from people. It is insane, in this age, that so many thousands of hours of SIGGRAPH footage should be all withheld from people the way they have been. These four videotaped courses are the tiniest sliver tip of the iceberg of content that SIGGRAPH is hoarding. It's quite shameful. This is not my way of saying "thanks", it's my way of saying, RELEASE THE REST.
Is this modern opengl that can be used in a nice modern language?
I would very much to learn some graphics programming. I recently found this webgl course on coursera and thought about giving it a try. Can anyone give a recommendation? is it a good way to start? is this "Intro to OpenGL Programming" better? should I look at a different resource altogether?
