hello welcome to Rose movie recap this drama is about a high school student named Makoto she is an introvert person where she doesn't have any friend the world seems to be meaningless for her as she feels that she shouldn't exist anymore where no one pays attention to her and she thinks she is invisible to others this feeling of uncertainty leads her to make a decision to end her life as she is about to jump from the school's rooftop her physics teacher appears there and saying unusual stuff he is wearing an earphone where he is doing gambling for a horse race the teacher's name is Hiba Jin where no one respects him and he's a very sloppy person no one treats him as a real teacher as he always makes jokes and is not serious students call him hyen Makoto explains to hyen that there is a boy in her class named Kazuma who sat next to her in the class he seemed to be very nice to her in contrast to others he was always kind to her and was smiling when he talked to her so she developed feelings for him she says that she decided to confess her feelings to Kazuma but he rejected her by saying sorry and left her this has become a burden on her shoulders as she's ashamed to face Kazuma again in the class as she feels that he would feel uncomfortable around her hyen says that he likes a girl too who is very pretty and stylish she's his only student who respects her and listens to his lectures he's referring to Makoto herself he tells her to forget about Kazuma and offers her to date him this is very surprising for her as she didn't expect her teacher to fall for her hyen has saved her from jumping from the rooftop and convinced her that life won't end by getting rejected by a boy as he has got rejected five times but hasn't given up yet Makoto goes to a train station and stares at the ground hyen appears there because he has followed her from school as he is worried that she will take her own life again by jumping from there hyen wants to take her away from there so she wouldn't think about taking her life so he tells her that he has lost his wallet and he's very hungry so she should buy food for him with her money she gets convinced to buy food for him as he seems to be very desperate he gets close to her and takes her away from the station to buy food and eat with her they arrive at a food shop where the owner is someone hyen nose he keeps calling her high school girl he orders food for both of them and tells her that she should pay for it as he has no money with him the owner calls him over and he leaves her for a second when he's gone she notices that hyen has his wallet in the bag which she immediately understands that he lied to her about losing his wallet in order to take her away from the station so she would forget her bad thoughts of taking her life she is very happy about that fact and wants to enjoy her food when he suddenly comes very close to her and takes a bit from her food she is very shocked from his action as it seems like he wants to kiss her she gets very shy from the situation and immediately stands up to leave Makoto again goes near the bridge and closes her eyes eyes it feels like she wants to do something dangerous again she then jumps from the bridge into the river the moment that she jumps hyen runs after her and jumps into the river to save her he thinks that she is trying to take her life and he doesn't hesitate to jump into the water after her he successfully takes her out of the water but it turns out that she jumped into the river to find the teddy bear that a little boy accidentally threw into the water he is actually afraid of water and can't swim for a long time but to despite that fact he was ready to swim and risk his own life for Makoto he's always worried about her and follows her after she leaves the school that's why when he saw her jumping from the bridge he couldn't just stand there and ran after her he's very happy that Makoto's intention was getting the teddy bear out of the river hygiene's and Makoto's clothes are wet and Makoto offers him to go to her house and dry their clothes he is very happy about that decision and immediately accepts it they arrive at Cotto's house and he starts saying how she isn't afraid to be alone with another guy and some things might actually happen she starts to get concerned but she opens the door as he says that it's cold and he got wet for her after drying up and drinking tea together hygiene goes to her room and start searching her drawers she comes to the room and sees him searching through her stuff and immediately sees that something is in his pocket which is Makoto's pencil case he actually took away the pencil case because he was afraid that she would try harming herself with the sharp things like the pencil or pens he had this thought because he saw a red scratch on her hand when they got wet and he thought it was the mark of self harm she explains that she got hurt during cooking and she would never take her life that way he grabs her hand and tells her that he always gets worried about her hyen notices everything about Makoto he even sees the small details and gets worried about her as he knows that she's living alone away from her family members the day that Makoto wanted to jump from the rooftop he told her that there was another time in the past where someone also failed to jump from here she now realizes that the person he was talking about is hyen himself where in the past he seems to be in the same position as Makoto where he also had the thought of taking her own life by jumping from the rooftop however he seems to be hesitating to tell his entire story to her so he refuses to talk about his past he immediately hugs her so she wouldn't see the boy he confessed to with another girl hyen always teases Makoto during her class time and wants to cheer her up and have fun with her he runs with her during her PE class and tries to be her friend as she doesn't have any friends he gets close to her as he thinks no one is looking at them but Makoto's classmate is there and watching them from behind he's an idol where everyone appreciates his good looks but he is a lonely person like Makoto everyone is jealous of him and he has no friends at the school similar to her they managed to convince him that what he saw is a misunderstanding he starts opening up to them and talk about his story the scene is shown where he is walking down the hallways and the girls are talking about his handsomeness and passing by and the boys in his class talk about him being arrogant and selfish by hearing his story Makoto tells him that she also doesn't have a friend and she offers him to be friends with her hyen also tells him that they should become friends with each other there is a rumor that a stalker follows the girls from the school so hyen gets very worried and wants to teach Makoto some self-defense moves and techniques so she can protect herself if something like that happens he pretends to be a stalker and attacks her and tells her that she should fight back when someone attacks her this creates a tense situation for Makoto as he gets close to her and her heart starts beating faster it's visible that Makoto is also developing feelings for him hyen tells her that he purposely made Makoto and the boy in her class become close to each other as he noticed that both of them are alone at school without any friends and he can't be friends with them at the school he gets close to her and tells her that she's very cute which makes her blush Makoto tells hyen that she'll go home with Kazuma so he doesn't need to take her home hyen asks him where Makoto is and he tells hayen that their homes are on opposite directions and Makoto left alone without him he gets very worried about her because of the rumor about the stalker so he runs to find her Makoto is on her way to home where the stalker is following her with a knife in his hand while she's walking she keeps thinking about hyen someone gets close to Makoto and suddenly hiin runs and hugs her from behind with a very worried face he says that he's revealed that everything is okay with her and she's safe he actually fought with the stalker and called the police and his arm got hurt because of that hyen gets cold and stays at home Makoto gets worried about him and decides to go to his house to take care of him she buys some food for him too she arrives at his house but he tells her to leave to not get the cold but she says that she's very worried about him and wants to do something for him he finally opens the door while he's wearing a mask Makoto goes in and sees a very messy house where the clothes are all over the place with leftover food on the table she wants to clean up the space but she first takes hyen to his room and makes him lay down on his bed and rest while she's cleaning the living room hyen tells her that they are like married couple now he's resting in his room and she starts cleaning up the living room but she suddenly sees that he's standing behind her and filming her as he says that he needs to have a record of this beautiful moment she forces him to go back to his room and should sleep more he sits on the floor and looks at a picture where it's a picture of him and his high school teacher he gets emotional and tells her teacher that he is very happy to experience the same feelings again he then falls asleep on the floor Makoto finds him lying on the floor he told her before that his throat was hurting and couldn't even drink water she feels bad for him so she drinks water and gets close to him to transfer that water from her mouth to his by doing this they actually kiss each other which is their first kiss but hyen is still asleep and doesn't realize that she kissed him Makoto is slowing realizing that she's getting worried about him and has feelings for him too hyen wakes up after that but he doesn't remember what happened last night the next day Makoto goes to the storage to get some stuff that her other teacher wants hyan also goes there to accompany her she gets her stuff and wants to leave but sees that the door is locked and both of them are trapped there she starts asking him if his love confession to her was only to stop her from jumping from the rooftop and wasn't sincere he grabs her and puts it on his heart and she hears that his heart is beating as fast as hers he tells her that his feelings for her are honest without any lies his words are too sincere that Makoto starts to believe in his love and Trust his words hyen always wants to help her because he loves her sincerely their time inside the storage has become an opportunity for them to share their feelings to each other and realize that they like each other they sit there while slightly touching hands which creates a romantic atmosphere hygiene is the only person that Makoto feels comfortable around and shares her feelings but she then finds out that he purposely put a book underneath the door so it wouldn't open and he says that it created a great situation for them to talk about themselves which he enjoyed a lot hyen asks Makoto about her plans for the summer break and she says that she wants to attend the Summer Festival with her new friend Kazuma hyen gets a little jealous when he hears about it but then he tells her to have a fun time with her new friend she goes to the festival and meets Kazuma there where he compliments about her good looks as they are walking she notices that hygiene has disguised himself and is following them in the festival she's very shocked to see him there but deep down in her heart she's happy that he's there with her even a distant away from her she starts talking with Kazuma and tells him that anything can change and they can meet again after graduation and then looks at hyen she's referring to hyen as they can start dating after the graduation she finds a chance to go and check on hyen as he's standing alone by himself Makoto tells him that she's there to show him her dress and he pulls her close to him and says that she's very beautiful today as she's walking away from him he runs and hugs her from behind and tells her that he wants to be with her the entire time they share a beautiful moment together while there are fireworks behind them Makoto doesn't push him back as she's also enjoying the romantic moment with him during the festival the summer break comes to an end and they go back to school Makoto seems to be avoiding hyen since they aom back from the break but she finds him sitting alone in the class and approaches him as she notices that he isn't smiling anymore he assigned them homework before the break to complete it over the break she comes and tells him that she forgot to complete his assigned questions over the break he doesn't lose the opportunity and tells her to sit next to him and complete it there he helps her with a problem and comes close to her which makes Makoto's heart flutter hyen tells her that she's a model student and he didn't expect her to forget her homework but once she she's done with her homework he notices erased marks on the paper which shows that Makoto completed the questions but she erased all of them just to have an excuse to come see him during the school time and solve them with him he gets happy and Makoto gets shy and runs away Makoto feels that hyen is lonely to so she wants to be with him all the time she's on her way to home where she sees a high school student walking purposely in the street to get hit by a car she runs to save him without thinking that she could get hurt too as she is running towards the boy to save him hyen approaches them and pushes them out of the road once again hyen is the one saving Makoto and he has changed her a lot as she is now saving others the same way he saved her in the past she convinces him that there are good things in the world to live for as she wanted to the same thing as him but she has found love along her way which has changed her mind hyen is behind the wall listening to Makoto's words and smiling as he knows that he's the one Makoto loves when the boy leaves hyen approaches her and asks her who the person is that she was talking about she tells him that he already knows who that person is but hyen tells her to say it in words in front of him but then the shop owner owner comes out and their conversation ends there Makoto is in their school swimming pool she's in her deep thoughts when hyen jumps into the water trying to save her he thought that she wants to take her life and once again wanted to save her he tells her that he can't hold his breath in the water and swimming is difficult for him she is moved with his words as she knows that he has jumped into the water two times for her to save her life without thinking about risking his own life and getting drowned in the water he grabs her hand and tells her to jump together into the water but she doesn't jump with him she tells him that she has just changed her clothes and doesn't want to get wet again Makoto starts laughing and can't stop herself from laughing hyen gets surprised and tells her that it's his first time seeing her laughing beautifully like that he touches her hand and gets close to her and they share a very romantic moment together he attempts to swim again just to make her laugh more and she says in her head that hygiene is the cause of her Happ happiness and smile the next day hygien is passing by Makoto's class and sees that a boy named Sahara in her class is choking her and he drops the stuff in his hand and wonders what's happening he then realizes that they are practicing for a play and Moto is the main female lead where her boyfriend has cheated on her he gets very jealous that she's going to play someone else's girlfriend role however Makoto tells him that Sahara is a good guy and treats her well during their practices she's very excited about the performance and practices a lot but she tells hyen that her acting skills are very bad he tells her that he doesn't get a good vibe from Sahara and he shouldn't be her partner but Makoto ensures him that even if Sahara is a Playboy she wouldn't let him do anything to her hyen gets very close to Makoto and tells her that he can also play the boyfriend role Makoto tells him that nothing bad would happen and there is no reason for him to get worried about it the next scene is sh Stone where Sahara is texting with his friend talking about Makoto he tells his friend that he would seduce Makoto today and make her fall for him at any cost as he's texting he bumps into hyen and drops his phone hyen sees his text and threatens him to not bother Makoto anymore or else he will come after him Sahara tells him that he was just kidding with his friend and it didn't mean anything he leaves but hyen gets worried that he would harm her Sahara goes to the class to practice with Makoto and he presses her against the wall and gets close to her but he sees that she's wearing a necklace which he assumes that she has a boyfriend and realizes that his plans are ruined and leaves her there alone Makoto gets shocked as she doesn't know who put it on her however she suddenly remembers that hyen got close to her while she was practicing she calls him to confirm this fact and he says that he put it on her she realizes that he gave the necklace to her so Sahara would know that she has a boyfriend so he wouldn't dare to come close to her she asks him what she can do for him as he gave her a very expensive gift and he tells her to wear the necklace all the time which would be enough for him Sahara tells the teacher that he doesn't want to be part of the play anymore he did this because his plan was ruined hyen tells Makoto to not get worry and asks her teacher to let him play Sahara's role the teacher accepts it and hyen gets very happy to be her partner the season has changed and it's winter now they are sitting under the snow and seems like they have gotten very close to each other as the time has passed Makoto tells him that she can't spend the Christmas with him as she has promised Kazuma to buy books with him on Christmas Eve she meets Kazuma on Christmas and they walk around the city together hyene is sitting alone by himself while Kazuma and Makoto are near the Christmas tree Kazuma is willing to tell Makoto something but he's constantly hesitating to say it but he eventually calls Makoto and wants to confess his feelings to her but then he refuses to do so and just tells her that you are an important person for me he doesn't want to ruin his friendship with her that's why he refuses to tell her about his feelings she's very happy that she has a friend like him but she's constantly thinking about hyen she decides to leave Kazuma and visit hyen as she knows that he would be alone on Christmas Eve as hyen is walking he notices Makoto and gets shocked that she is there as he thought she would spend the entire time with Kazuma she has brought a present for him which is a scarf for his cat Makoto is concerned about his emotional state and asks him about his dream and he tells her that his biggest dream is to have a family and spend the Christmas time with them hyen starts showing his other side to Makoto as he used to laugh all the time and was very energetic but now he's more on the quieter side and seems to be lonely Makoto tells him that she can be his family in the future hygiene gets happy and asks her to come to to his house as he has something to give her he gives her a present and calls her Makoto it's the first time he is calling her Makoto as he always calls her high school girl the present that he gave to her is just bunch of expired snacks at school Kazuma tells Makoto that he likes a girl who is very pretty but she's a little different than others and that's what he likes about her he tells her that he can't confess his feelings to her because he knows that she doesn't like him Makoto carefully listens to him but she doesn't know that he's talking about her she tells him that his situation is complicated but when you love someone you want that person to be happy she says that she also wants to discover someone's secrets and know him more but more importantly she wants him to be happy Kazuma realizes that she likes someone as she seems to be happy while talking about that person Kazuma asks hayen if he likes her and he says that he wants her to be happy even with someone else other than than him because her happiness is very important for him it's raining very hard and Makoto comes with an umbrella to check on Kazuma hyen tells her that he's okay so she shouldn't worry about him assures her that he will take care of everything from now on so she shouldn't worry about it days are passing and they've become very close to each other that they often meet outside of school Makoto asks hayen to meet her that night he gives her a drink that he drank from it before and she was just staring at it he tells her if she's thinking about indirect kiss but she denies it she's actually thinking about the kiss they had when hyen was sick and she gave him water from her mouth Makoto tells him that she has noticed that he's putting a wall between them so she thinks that he doesn't want to be with her anymore hyen tells her that he loves her a lot it's just that he keeps having a nightmare which doesn't let him sleep well the nightmare is about Makoto falling from the rooftop and watch him sleep hyen notices that Makoto isn't feeling well and offered her drink water but she refuses and tells him that she has promised herself to not drink water until he sleeps well so he lies down again and tries his best to sleep so she can drink water she slowly touches head and tries to make him sleep hyen can't sleep knowing that she doesn't feel well he gets up quickly and drinks water and kisses her to transfer the water to her body mouth to mouth this situation happened before when Makoto did the same thing to give him water he tells her that he was just trying to find an excuse to kiss her hiin gets close to her and kisses her for real hyen suddenly wakes up and says that he has slept well he thinks that whatever happened was just a dream Makoto was able to comfort him and make him sleep well without having any night nightmares the kissing between them actually happened because the water bottle is shown which is now half empty Makoto goes home and checks the Christmas gift hyen gave her she sees that there is a letter which she hadn't noticed before the letter is from hyen to her explaining his past which he couldn't tell her in person he explains how in the past he thought that he doesn't belong to this world and one day he decided to jump from the school's rooftop the scenes are similar to the beginning of the drama where Makoto wanted to take her life at the same place for the same reason his teacher approaches him the same way hiin appeared next to her she was also wearing earbuds and was listening to a horse race she didn't tell him to not jump or try to change his mind she started talking about food and dinner he started telling her that he doesn't know who his father is and he's getting beaten up by his relatives so he doesn't think he belongs to this world anymore all the students bully him and talk bad about his family he told him that they should have dinner together that night and she must go shopping he was very shocked by his teachers Behavior she told him that he can die on another day and they should have dinner that night she was able to convince him to not jump the same way hyene convinced Makoto to step back from her decision he acted the same way as his teacher as she's reading the letter she thinks hyen is very similar to his teacher and she's fascinated by hyen and his teacher's relationship he then explains how his teacher took care of him by cooking for him and when he was sick he took care of him similar to the way Makoto took care of him she made sure that he studies well so he can have a secured future she told him that she's very happy that she has a new family which he's his new family he considered her his parent and a very closed person after she finishes reading the letter she goes to school to meet hyen she tells him that his actions are very similar to his teacher Behavior behavior and she's thankful to his teacher as she saved him back then which caused him to save her that day hyen asks her if she doesn't like him anymore after knowing about his past she confirms that nothing has changed between them and she loves him a lot and will be next to him all the time he pretends to be sad and she can't hold herself back anymore and approaches him she puts his hand on her heart the same way he did before so he can hear her fast heartbeat he then asks her to hug him and she hugs him tightly while kissing his head he asks her to hug him for a longer time which makes her very happy hyen feels very revealed as he has shared his past with the girl he loves and she's very understanding and tries her best to be with him all the time as she's noticed that he's very lonely and needs family the year is close to end where Makoto will graduate they don't want to date and make anything official before the graduation and she hasn't said I love you to hyen as she thinks it would be better to do it after gradu a at school she goes to meet Kazuma he asks her if she has confessed to the person she likes but she says no Kazuma warns about the fact that she should confess her feelings now as he might disappear and it might become late if she keeps it a secret she actually gets concerned and goes to meet hyen she's watching hyen closely from outside of the class and he notices it and asks her why she's there Makoto explains how she should confess her feelings after graduation and can't do it now but she's worried that something might happen and asks him what she should do hyen gets surprised that she's asking the person she loves what she should do hyen again confesses his feelings to her by saying I love you and assures her that he'll be there after graduation and wouldn't disappear or go anywhere so she shouldn't worry about anything she decides to take a risk and confess her feelings to him as he has told her I love you so many times so she should at least tell him once she approaches him and covers his ears so he wouldn't hear it she then says I love you and asks him if he heard what she said to him hyen says that he didn't hear her words Makoto says goodbye to him and leaves hyen actually recorded her voice while she was confessing her feelings to him but he doesn't want to hear it he promises to himself that he'll listen to it after graduation which is the right thing to do the drama ends with Makoto running in a beautiful Street while smiling she says she hated this world and didn't want to live but love has changed herself and her life she wants to continue living this life while experiencing this sweet love it is obvious
