SHULKER BOX CHALLENGE - MINECLASH (EP.96)

hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of minecraft i am joined here today by stacy says and stacy we are doing the 1.11 challenge [Applause] i almost just died that was not good i have blue particles i'm team blue you're a team blue and you're team red i have red all over me that's so cool oh my gosh like literally i i fell off i almost died but that's so cool like tells you what team you're on where the spawn is who's the maps buy this is all new yeah i've never seen this before we have a really cool map today made by jory i think that's how you say it jo3ri yes we're gonna put a link to this in the description because it's actually downloadable like they made an entire map of like kind of the basic premise of mine clash which is to collect uh several items yes so we're gonna be doing one of the sets of items i believe there's like nine different sets of games yeah like you can literally sit here you can play this forever yeah and they would give you different items but we found the set that we want which is like catering to more of the new stuff that have come out you know in this version particularly the shulker box because there were quite a few things in 111 but the three biggest things in my opinions were the llamas llama the woodland mansions which stay tuned and the shulker box which is basically just this really cool chest that you can now make out of a shulker drop now does it have any unique properties like an ender chest you can only be the one to access it like does this one have anything to it how do i explain it i'm pretty sure like you can put everything in your shulker box and then you can pickaxe the shulker box it's almost like a backpack oh that's so cool i'm so glad they finally have that minecraft didn't want to add like a backpack because they thought that that would be kind of weird to just like all of a sudden add a backpack so glad for this edition i want my shoulder boxes i want all of them it's like a lunchbox in school i see what they're doing totally is this a shulker box or is this just a shulker this what happens if you click on it i'm in creative mode i don't know why i did that i i'm sorry what did i do you just i broke it i think oh you're broken you're creative oh you're dummy yeah i broke it by accident i don't think that that was that special i think it was just like a shulker box because it looked exactly like this look at this guy whoo on the thing all right so i don't know how we go to the end that's a barrier block down there but okay so i think as soon as we start the challenge something must happen that lets us get to the end right let's just trust jory okay all right you clicked that button i'm gonna sit down here so i get a head start there's something weird about the map too like those aren't normal birch trees oh yeah everything around here has been custom made and i want to check it all out like it's been completely redone by the map maker wait let's push the credits by the way it's just story oh yeah i just wanted to push it okay all right i'm starting the game wait this might start the actual challenge are you ready to lose yeah i'm ready i'm ready to win what do you mean lose i've lost so many lately yeah right all right i'm going to hit start oh three two one it opened it up that was so cool oh my gosh oh look you're wearing pants dude the border is opening up and letting us go to the oh hold on hold on collect all five items return to spawn and press your button to win attack delay true or false whispers to you such a fool that grazer you can beat him without even doing anything oh you can beat stacey easily true yeah i'll do that wait the items disappeared attack delay we'll do false then wait what were the items it was a jukebox a shulker box a lead a trap chest and and uh and uh i don't know what it was hold on hold on hold on i can look it up i can look it up okay so it was definitely jukebox then trap chest then shook her box then a lead lead and then what was the last and then the last item was and by the way does that mean we just have to have them in our inventory and then we'll win yeah you just have to have them in your inventory it says return this oh popped chorus fruit oh okay yeah that's not that bad i think it's popped i think it's popped i don't really know there's a structure over here that i want to go check out do you think that that means that one goes to the nether and that one goes to the edge what okay all rules are completely off for this challenge look at that diamonds hanging from the mountain here okay so i'm going for those that's going to be my jukebox right there this challenge is literally hey there's a llama up there all rules off this guy has literally made it so we don't have the cave it looks like the heck do you think there's a woodland mansion then i wonder i don't see that many wait are you started yeah i've already started oh my gosh oh my gosh i want to go check out that structure over there yeah this is all literally just been built by him what in the world i'm scared this is crazy i've never seen a challenge like this in my entire life like even the ones you have like made they're still like not the whole map oh my gosh there's more what do you mean more customness to this like it's crazy but are we gonna find a slime okay let's see here i'm so excited stacy for all these updates i'm scared so excited okay there we go this is weird like anything could just be anywhere anything could be anywhere stace anything like do we even go look for iron in the normal way or you're gonna have to get iron to get the diet is there a daylight cycle they're i don't know i don't know good question oh my gosh wait were there not starter items at all no starter items so we have to like get the food from this farm or something yes and that's why i think there's so many pigs and stuff around wait i can't break this fence are we in adventure mode this is like a real survival challenge uh you might be i'm in i'm in adventure mode though how would i be in adventure mode i mind cobble well then you're not in adventure mode maybe the fence is just not breakable maybe he made it so that it's not maybe it's off limit stacy we can't but i need we're gonna get hungry or do we have saturation we have saturation do we yeah are you sure i mean unless it's just the beacon effect okay because i don't i don't see that i have saturation oh then maybe it's just the particles this is all a lot to take in this challenge it's a lot to take in and i'm like mining for iron but i'm like i don't even know is this a super flat you know i don't know i don't know if this is all literally custom or not this is crazy should i be looking for the iron is what i'm saying right there's pumpkins do we need pumpkins for anything at all no but i mean he had to have nine sets of things that you could get so i'm sure yeah so there's a lot i got you i can't see okay i found a cave i don't think the caves are custom the caves look pretty normal okay caves look pretty normal unless they are custom actually this game looks huge i need like um i need an axe uh okay i got my iron there we go and now i want to get my diamond up there on the ledge oh this is going to be so awesome stacy i love this map this looks so cool make a furnace then boom boom iron yeah but it's like literally like starting from survival from i know it's literally a survival like i'm like i should probably kill this cow for food yep kill it i've been killing animals i've got so much food you do yep gotta play survival stage i wasn't even thinking about it it must be at spawn the saturation must be from the beacon is that one of the beacon things i don't know i haven't been at spawn since here we go do you just want to give me the diamond are you going to make me pickaxe it i'm going to make your pickaxe at stacy why don't i give it to you where did you find the cave i don't know all i know is that i'm doing my best to win because i've lost so much lately there's no way i want to lose you've lost a lot so i'm going hardcore stace this guy this challenge no help where are we gonna get slime that's what i'm thinking i'm just wondering if i need to get armor because how hard is it gonna be to kill the shulker is keep inventory on the shulker uh it's not on would you like me to turn it on i don't know do you think that that will mess with something maybe we better not maybe not but no shulkers are easy to be honest with you i'm i wouldn't kill the shoulder all the time i kill shulkers i've killed them with no armor on in the cube before it's so easy are you just hit them over yeah you just hit them over and over again oh but don't they then levitate you you have to hit them while they're due like in their mode of not shooting or or sorry while their heads out you have to hit them i think kind of regret staircasing for iron i am back by the way at spawn or the beacon is and you're absolutely right it gives you hunger and stuff so that's uh that's dealt with let me get this diamond up here on the cliff diamond looking for a cave we don't need anything else from a cave though besides no that's it i think that's it right oh i didn't even think about that okay i do need okay here okay so let me grab this diamond i'm actually gonna grab the easier one let me grab that one i'm gonna get as much iron as i can and see if i can make some basic art oh my gosh the um the like the way like when you mine stuff now oh it looks so cool it looks so cool like i just mined diamonds and it like it like gave off a bluish like aura effect while i was mining it it was so cool looking so i've got my jukebox ready bam okay whoa what it tells you if you've obtained it no way obtained a jukebox and i heard like a ding in the background that's so cool i don't even have to edit in dings this time good job dory if that is your name if that is we hope it is dory three door three oh okay all right come on stace i'm gonna need it to be night time for string for tripwire hook soon oh my gosh you're i heard a spider down there when my staircase i should have totally i didn't even think about that i don't have a sword yet all right let's do this 10 minute mark it tells you how long we've been playing oh that's awesome i was like wait a minute does that mean we only have 10 minutes left no no okay good uh okay maybe shulkers are a little harder than i thought you're already killing a shulker okay i killed one already freezer stop stop winning they're harder than i thought though they're harder than i thought i knew that they were hard but i already killed one and it didn't drop anything should i go down for that spider i feel like i should oh aren't there like only a limited amount of shulkers at every place too wait a minute yeah i could have to like find an entirely another end city no oh wait wait wait coming up coming up forget the spider i fell from a high place do you have your inventory i have my inventory but i'm in spec mode oh so keep inventory is on yes all right i better go get the shulker i don't know why i had to put myself back in survival mode that was weird hey bud what oh that's nether this is end because of the oh and the end brick gotcha i got you gotcha gotcha yeah okay that's a spider but it's by a witch so give me a shulker guys give me a shulker here we go i just don't want to go to the end and then have it be like dead okay there we go wait what's this what's this what what what a shoulder shell i yourself right how did you get out of this room uh what room like i'm in the end now and i'm in and then you gotta go back through it to the end city oh oh come on i need to kill this guy i looked at an enderman please just kill yourselves please joker please okay here's a lone one over here hello game mode s why was that enderman aggroed on me like immediately i think i'm gonna die i think i'm dead perfect this like shulkers are so extremely difficult they're levitational bullets oh my gosh okay i'm hearing where is the shulker yes i got another one i got another one i got another you just kill all the shulkers in this thing not even close no no no oh here he is here he is and you said it oh he hit me he hit me wait it didn't work there's a shell down there i got one i just need to fall oh there it is joker box obtained no no no i got it i got it i got it i can't i can't i can't i died i died okay how does one get popped chorus fruit you know i'm not talking i'm looking it up i'm looking it up ah i got it got it stace you're going awfully quiet because i got my one shulker shell but i'm trying to get another but now i'm levitating to get that i should obtain this please let me obtain this this is so hard nope ow ow ow got it i have not had to eat yet i've got my popcorn you sure popped chorus fruit was an item because i got it and it didn't like say hey you got it but okay whatever maybe not is it not well you gotta tell me what killed the item shulker are you still in the end i'm gonna kill myself to get out maybe that's why all right and i am out maybe because you're in the end it didn't um tell you that you had it maybe but stacy i don't like how calm you're being because that means that you're doing really good there i got the popcorn fruit it's definitely a popcorn fruit but it didn't tell me that i had it either okay so no i only have one shulker shell i've got to go back in okay good good good keep uh keep doing your thing stace well i uh i win that's how we like not win please do not win no i forgot they can target you oh look at all the cute llamas so cute no stop it shulker stop it okay so there are mobs around i'm going to die i'm going to die if i fall i'm going to die if i fall i'm going to die if i fall i'm going to go i love this yes keep dying no there was a shulker shell right there i got it i got it i got both how do you get back you just have to die you just have to die yeah oh really yeah unfortunately it sounds bad but it's the only way kill me kill me trying to find a spider so i can work towards my lead lead requires string right oh my gosh i couldn't even think about that i just thought you needed the string for the tripwire hook no you need string for oh by the way thank you for reminding me about that string the tripwire hook so yeah so i'll need more string than i thought i'll need okay all right i'm cool with that i'm cool with that so it says obtain trap chest but it didn't say obtained chorus fruit super weird oh i think one of my favorite things about this version is you can toggle between like the attack delays and not so that actually did toggle it have you been noticing you're hitting mobs instantly it's easier to kill yeah there's no delay anymore so i think that's a really cool new feature oh okay still have not had to eat just saying really because i've had to eat this whole challenge and i've been having a big big bit of a tough time with it eating eating eating there we go okay she got her diamonds oh you saw that huh i did try to be secretive about it i see a little bit ah but this is not good i'm not finding any spiders [Music] oh no it's sun's coming up isn't it yeah do we want to make it night again i don't think we need to mess with anything because if not we're gonna have to both guaranteed wait a whole another day cycle what for spiders right so i'm just asking you do you want to knight it and we'll see what happens wait a minute jukebox trap chest shulker box okay go night you want to go okay we're going now looks like it's a race it looks like it's a race she only needs her spiders and slime i guess yep thank you again for this map this map is like one of the best maps that i have ever seen in my collection this has been really fun but where was the swamp grazer i found it i found it i found it now it might be programmed so that slimes spawn when you walk into the area that's what i'm hoping yeah i questioned it i walked in there you had to swim across something right i mean the swamp is just a bunch of islands that's all it is yeah a pack of llamas oh ah come on like i actually whenever i need it like it's so blatantly easy to find a spider at night time right and yet i can't i can't find one i think that's what frustrates me most about this game when there's a task so easy and you just can't do it yeah oh look i'm having to eat my first steak but there's no spiders anywhere at all where are the spiders right looking through an entire planes here skeletons creepers zombies come on spiders you found some no i don't have spiders i need spiders and i still need slime you said that very very fake oh no i wasn't thinking yeah okay let's see it's up here i just need some spiders how do you make a tripwire hook by the way is it just string and redstone or something like how does that work i'm not telling you because i know i need string for it hmm this is crazy it's super crazy grazer hey i love the map though i'm not complaining i love the map and just see all the the work they put into it i could not love the map more i'm eating my second steak she's doing her voice guys that means she's about to win she's about to win i'm about to win yeah you are aren't you what um giraffe giraffe where's the button where's the button giraffe guys i literally just drowned where's the button what you gotta find it says in the instructions that you gotta find the button right i think maybe the start button turned to the complete button who knows what on the platform above yeah maybe that's what happened who knows where's the platform i don't even see the ladder to the platform it's gone it's literally gone yeah it's gone uh how long have you had your slime for um oh quite a while i bet that there's some kind of cool wind thing jukebox trap chest shoulder box lead and pop quartz group yeah i'm not seeing a button huh oh what if it was this and i broke it what if that was the button like that what if i broke the button oh my gosh let me see is there command box underneath wait where'd you go i went underneath the seat no there's not that wasn't it that wasn't it i don't know where the button is there is no button well i apologize jory if there was supposed to be like a really cool thing i bet there was a but there were fireworks i bet it was cool that's that pepper this is cool look at it wait we have to try using our shulker box grazer oh yeah let's use it let's use it i have one okay yeah it opens up and then can i break that now with my pick yeah so it totally comes with you oh no but it's not in there anymore my blocks weren't in there anymore break they weren't oh unless i had two oh no no no they were yeah it's like a backpack i had two shulker boxes that's why but yeah it is so cool now are you able to open my shulker box i know no no what are you doing see yeah i can molly love you go rescue a dog okay so we have an update that everyone has probably been screaming at us for the entire challenge because over here this was a chorus flower but when all of the items disappeared i went onto the planet minecraft page and looked at the set picture and it's popped chorus fruit so it was a little bit of a hiccup it's not a false win though because i mean yeah my bad but we didn't really just study the items enough so i want to see what happens once you get all five so i'm going to throw out the flower do not pick it up grazer i swear i'm not going to pick it up there it is and now i'm going to go into survival mode whoa there's the button it's the button on blue okay and hit and there are fireworks i knew there would be it said you lose blue won the game dang it so it like literally spawned your blue button and i think if i want it it would have put my red button up above the red thing here you know what that's so cool too is that then you could also just climb this ladder back up right again and then play again awesome map amazing amazing map but it was epic i still won though should we kill grazer again i kind of feel like we should no no no don't kill me please short and sweet
