i just realized i'm like your vanna white [Laughter] thank you vanna i've always dreamed of having my own vanna i mean i have great legs but hi welcome to the house of valentina i'm valentina and my husband jack and i are hanging out in the studio because i've done some serious shopping you got a new shirt it's like so soft you noticed i did is did that shirt come alone or did it travel with a family well this video is not actually about my shirt um i love this shirt it is so soft and so cozy and perfect because it's finally gotten cold here in atlanta um i'll leave the link for it below but that's not what the video is actually about today all right so what is the video about that if we're not talking about your shirt and the possible other shirts that came with it the video today is actually all about home goods because we have a whole bunch of projects coming up but we will be styling up several homes and they happen to all have similar color palettes so i need a whole bunch of accessories yes it's like i don't know your ears it is truly music to my ears so i just thought it'd be really fun for you guys to see how we help our clients save money how we find these really great accessories at unexpected places because these are definitely going into luxury homes but that doesn't mean that we can't save money and create that beautiful look without having to spend extra money unnecessarily especially when the homes are large and there's a lot to style lots of bookshelves lots of spaces definitely and they already have furniture right yeah kind of the anchor pieces um we've already gotten past furniture on these projects so yeah we'll be sharing so much more about the projects themselves but today we just wanted to show you the cool stuff that we've been finding so that you can run out to your home goods and i will try to leave links if there's if these things are available online too because i know some of you are like but my home kids doesn't have that yeah i know we're gonna have to show you fast yeah let's do it all right my favorite pillow is this one because it's got this amazing pattern on it it's got i know it does look like the greek my mom's gonna want these so bad okay these pillows are only 16.99 and they have the feather insert so they are soft you can mold them however you want and they just feel really good when you lean against them i think and yours as well i love this one so it's this amazing blue it's shiny it's like soft i do i love both of these so much it's gonna be so hard to get these up okay so we also need some good basics and they had these beautiful velvet soft again down filled pillows this one was 16.99 and look at this beauty they only had one and i was not leaving the store without it i was like you know what even if i put it in a chair by itself or it goes in a set this is stunning yeah it's awesome and the fabric is so soft and that's 24 24.99 that's crazy that's crazy it's colors favorite vases i knew exactly which one i was heading down i was looking at this guy the entire time i couldn't pick so this thing is amazing it's actually handmade in india is what it says yeah on the tag and what do you call this it's got that mercury glass and it's etched oh my gosh but the detail it is breathtaking i want this yeah how much does that one on the bottom yeah 12.99 12.99 i'm on the hunt for more of that vase yeah because this needs to go in my office okay all right we can do that um i got a couple of these okay so i've got this one that has this amazing pattern in it isn't that so cool so i love when it has a little bit of a 60s nod yeah it still feels really elevated and once we fill this up fill this sorry once we fill this with some beautiful uh greens it's going to be breathtaking and this one was only 16.99 i got two and then you've got another favorite of mine a bit of a speckle in it and of course it's really big which helps because when we're styling these homes that are larger in size it's a challenge to find accessories that are big enough to where they don't look this big on a shelf this one was this one was 29.99 oh you could read that barely apparently okay next favorite let's see oh next vases okay next up we've got these beautiful vases which again i'm always looking for something that has a sort of etched look to it this one was 19.99 and it will live well with taller things and it gives me some width which is what i need i i you know a lot of times we think kind of big and tall and then you've got to have something that's small and kind of low that sits next to it and we can really fill in those spaces that's awesome that one this little guy is amazing and kind of fluted that really just drew my eye did i say how much this one was this one was 19.99 this one is 9.99 look at all of the warmth and patina i think it's amazing that these cool pieces have so it can be very expensive to buy large art pieces basically these big pieces that really anchor the shelves and give you that big wow statement so this one was only 14.99 they actually had it in a black wood as well that i almost grabbed but i just don't have a house right now but i needed that for this guy this is amazing and so it's only 39.99 it's huge and it reminds me we bought a statue years ago in morocco it was made of concrete oh yes that was very very similar to this and it had a lot of little cracked pieces in it so it reminds me of that a lot but this is awesome yeah it's just a fun piece that again it's scale and that's what we really need to be able to fill that space and add some something interesting yeah look at this ooh you got me a loofah from my back ew can you imagine how bad that would hurt that's nasty well i know that a lot of times people think that you can't buy coral or shells or things like that in the middle of winter but we try to create interiors that are year round and they can switch out the greens and maybe a couple accessories but not everything needs to go and these are perfect for adding texture and a little bit of depth um and so i just i love this i use those year-round and at 14.99 it's a lot cheaper than learning how to scuba dive and getting your own definitely i have this cute little artichoke which is um ceramic and it's super cute and i wish actually i got an extra two or three because these were only 9.99 and that'll be perfect on the bedside table maybe in the bathroom with a little vase and then a soap pump and then the hand towel and then done so you can see how one little accessory can actually carry the weight of a whole room you don't need a lot so that's cute that's awesome next up we have faux plants and if you remember i did a video quite quite a while ago i'll leave a link for it for you if you haven't watched it and it's all about my tips and tricks for using faux plants and i have used my own rules when it came to shopping for these babies so the number one thing that i do when i'm looking for foe is i'm looking for something that's easily replicated so creating a succulent style or a grass they can do a pretty good job faking these flowers are hard but these look amazing these actually look real personal and the other i know is your favorite thing i love these pots not that you can kill these puppies but if they were to die i would buy this thing just for this yeah and each one of these has a history on my hair each one of these has a really cool detail yeah cool texture these are great yeah you need that texture to keep your space feeling alive and interesting and choosing things like this will definitely do that this one was 16.99 14.99 and 16.99 there you go i've got a lot more shopping to do for the kitchen but i did find a couple things that i thought were really cute this little oil and vinegar set is so cute in the little caddy and just some simple accessories like this i was looking for wood cutting boards and i didn't like any they had an entire shelf full of them and i didn't like anything they had so you got to be willing to walk away i'm usually looking for something that's made of olive wood i like the texture and the warmth that that has and they didn't have anything like that did however have this really pretty fluted bowl and i thought that was beautiful it could go in the kitchen it might go on a bookshelf as well yeah it's awesome i love that it's got like texture on the top yeah so when you're looking at it's not going to look flat and like just boring it's actually really interesting to look at yeah exactly that one was 16.99 and these were 9.99 these are my favorite i know you're ready to steal them and at 4.99 each i'm just like whoa like these are i would love these right now in our house yeah i mean you're the candle guy i love these i've got candles in mind already so i thought those would be really cute because they're really pretty and they add a little touch of glamour to his face yeah um and scale wise again it's probably gonna go somewhere like a bedside table or maybe a bathroom or a dresser however sometimes i need some bigger items for the big bookshelves and these are made in india and were 14.99 and 16.99 and they've got just really nice they're beautiful warmth and patina to them and they have a little bit of that sort of french classic they can they're transitional they can really go with almost any style yeah and i think that's really cool so those are perfect yeah i love these i did get you a little present give me a present uh-huh you want me to see what you want to see what i got yeah i want to see it close your eyes and put out your hands don't drop it ooh caramel crunch yay oh my gosh can you smell it again it smells so good one of my neighbors got me one that was like a toffee crunch that was during october and i've looked everywhere trying to find another one like it and i can't find one but we really like this brand that's that woodwick yeah they smell really good they don't smell super they don't smell fake they smell they smell very really hungry yes i know i usually put that one in the kitchen it's calorie-free right yeah thankfully well they make you hungry that i can't then i can't promise it will not do so i should have totally walked away from this one no no no no okay i found the manolo blahnik book now i would never basically um nope probably would never put this out like this however ah the inside of the book looks like this and um when i looked it up on amazon this one was 89.99 and when i looked it up on amazon basically it sold out and it was 150 whoa yeah so oh my gosh what an amazing book oh my gosh so i will try to link for somewhere where it's a little bit more affordable if i can but sometimes you just have to just grab books when you see them and what i love about a big book like this is that you need these big books for big coffee tables yeah you need large items and as much as i love ellen degeneres's book here the size of it is you know you can put these two together like this but if you only have small ones you don't have the scale that you really need um however ellen's book is amazing oh you could take that one thanks so ellen's book is amazing because you can take this cover off and it's a really nice neutral gray and i don't know why we didn't own this book i don't know either i got this for 12.99 and uh the interiors are absolutely stunning inside i i don't know why we haven't owned this i know it's been out for a while and i think that's sometimes how it is where you're like why don't i own that it's amazing oh my gosh guys look at this amazing this one may not end up in somebody else's house because it has like that i think it's faux bone i don't know i'm assuming it's not real um but i love the pattern and i just thought it was so pretty and it was 24.99 and you guys know i love to have boxes and i just thought this was so beautiful i just couldn't pass on it no i don't isn't that so pretty i love that yeah and then i got these because i've got a couple dining spaces to do and for a set of eight they were only 7.99 so basically a dollar a piece wow so i was thinking if i have like some nice gray dishes that are sitting on top i don't normally set the table but sometimes my clients ask for that they want the feeling like it's a model home yeah and they're used to seeing it like that and they they like that look so i got these because i thought well this is really neat we could put those on the table but we could also put them on the wall and make yeah there's a bunch of cool stuff you could do with this yeah so those are cool awesome oh we haven't even gotten art guys oh my gosh okay so we're gonna have to speed things up here because i just realized we've got so much more to go but i've got this cool basket i know for sure that this is going to one of my homes where we need a basket in the bedroom where we can load it up with pretty basket baskets we're going to load the basket baskets or we can load it up with blankets and maybe a couple pillows and this was only 24.99 for this humongous basket it's huge and i loved the color and the texture of it it's gorgeous when i'm shopping for artwork at home goods i'm definitely looking for a very high-end looking frame i'm looking for artwork that looks like it was actually painted by an artist i know that sounds slightly obnoxious but i want something that doesn't look like it was on a like mass produced on a printer even if it was um so somebody had to come back and add all the gold on this and i don't do glitter but shimmer is very beautiful so for this one 99.99 and it actually has the artist's name on here so that's an actual piece that somebody has painted and i thought that was a steel and the color in this is breathtaking i love this yeah next yes okay next up we have this stunning piece which actually has brush strokes on it um so not only did i love the color i thought that was really beautiful but it's got thick little bits and the brush strokes go in the direction of the actual paint and these are things that should seem obvious but a lot of times they are not so i loved isn't this so pretty yeah i love this i love the texture to it it's only 39.99 for this big piece and look at how pretty the frame is it's great framing yeah i really like this one i love it yeah you can probably tell we have a lot of blues and that's because i love this one so many of our clients are wanting the this color palette right now and i just thought that all this deep deep blue and these navies and the way it just kind of goes up into these whites with again it reminds me of some of the stuff you make yeah except that for how much was this oh we couldn't find the price on this one i think i think maybe i paid 50 or 60 for this one um and it comes framed so it's hard for me to even get a canvas for that price let alone have it framed like that yeah so sometimes it's better to just buy it like this than to even try to make it yourself and again it's got those cool texture marks on it too and they actually go the right direction yes like sometimes you'll see art and everything the textures are wrong yeah or it's blobby and it's not it doesn't matter it doesn't make any sense yeah this one i thought this was a really good i love this piece yeah we've got gigantor coming up next and this one barely got home like literally diagonally in the car every last breath of space to get it home look at this piece this thing's amazing isn't that just absolutely breathtaking i just thought that this was beautiful it's humongous it's 129.99 for a huge piece like this so i can really make my clients budget really stretch with a piece like this it's bold it makes a big statement it feels very luxurious because of the size and the colors are soothing and neutral and yet not boring i think i love this piece i love this piece yeah i just realized i'm like your vanna white [Laughter] thank you vanna i've always dreamed of having my own banana i mean i have great legs but oh boy well this piece i thought was really beautiful because it does have a very restoration hardware kind of look but it was only 29.99 but i love that it's matted it's got that linen behind it it's got a beautiful frame on it those are all the things that give it a very luxurious feel but again 29.99 is a little bit expensive compared to all the other art for the size but this in a bathroom it is perfect and it's it'll be beautiful yeah i love this okay last but not least i get to do my part last but not least this gorgeous three pack three-piece wall art set that's all i got this could be your future career that's all i got absolutely well we've got these beautiful watercolor pieces gorgeous yeah i loved the blues again all these colors are what my clients are really looking for i hope that you guys had as much fun as we did because this was a blast i know it was a lot of fun and you still have more to do yes i mean i've spent over a thousand dollars at home goods just another day yep and i plan to spend at least another thousand more probably in the next few days so it's just how it goes and i've definitely been doing some shopping at world market and target so if you're interested if you like these videos let me know because i don't normally
