we're at Lowe's and I'm so excited we're going plant shopping we are starting off with a bang the bargains on this table are mind-blowing [Music] Vivid Cherry charm Cedar pinks also known as dahantis still looking very healthy was originally 15.99 and now it's six dollars awesome deal on these guys over here we've got a hearty yellow ice plant was originally 9.99 an hour five dollars looks very Lush and healthy I am very tempted by these guys these are awesome in Rock Gardens Hardy to zone three full sun blooms in early summer definitely something that is tempting me oh we've got a Windflower and an enemy hybrid Panama was 15.99 and now it's six dollars gorgeous pink balloons still looks pretty good next we've got a chip sofilia Rosa very tempted by this one too Hardy to zone three likes full sun flowers in early summer not sure on how much water requires but I'm definitely thinking about this for my backyard slope supervisor this morning yeah well we're at Lowe's we're gonna check and see if there are any clearance house plants they've got a lovely display here and I spotted the clearance way in the back corner so we are headed right to the clearance rack see what they have on the clearance rack at Lowe's oh they've got quite a few to choose from here in a clearance section this is gorgeous this is an antharium it's got a lovely flower on it beautiful foliage it looks pretty healthy comes in a nice planter see what the price is it was twenty dollars now ten dollars pretty good deal actually for this pretty gorgeous looking house plant and they have equip stolen stuff there's one two three four five at least six there might be more here so that's not bad ten dollars for a gorgeous looking anthurium I've heard of this this is called an inch plant still have some definitely some nice foliage a little bit of Browning on some leaves this is two dollars it is a four inch pot don't know what the original price was but two dollars seems like a price you could take a chance on if you were collecting these type of houseplants [Music] and I got a couple of these inch plants we are here oh this is tempting me it doesn't it honestly it doesn't look super healthy but I've never owned a hoya before it doesn't say what variety of oil it's three dollars this oil is three dollars not super healthy but you could probably revive it if you're into that very good bargain oh they've got another Hoya this one it's about the same for health that's what the leaves look like again doesn't say the variety it is also whoa this one is at two dollars that it seems like a really good bargain nice foliage on this plant I'm honestly not sure what it is similar to the inch plant but I don't think it's an inch plane it might be something else could be an inch plant though no price tag I'm assuming it's probably two dollars like the other ones I think we've got another ethereum at the back those guys this one's only seven dollars the other one's for 10. because it's not blue but it's still really healthy SpongeBob is really beautiful like the cover product comes with both a nursery pot and a cover pot for seven dollars at the steel The Mask we've got something I've never seen before it's got succulent like leaves it says Kellen throw probably not saying that right care allow plenty of natural indirect light water in the sink when you completely dry fertilize every two weeks interesting plant looks beautiful oh my God it's three dollars that is a steal look how healthy it is there's no good reason this should be three dollars but that is awesome they had two of these on clearance left they are both houseplants foreign [Music] enthusiasts but it looks like it's got some kind of a flower on it very interesting foliage let's see if there's a name oh this is a barong bromeland from Costa Farms in a very nice cover pot it was originally 29.99 and it is now nine dollars that's a parking look how big it is it looks pretty healthy somebody needs to scoop this up I don't think it's for me but awesome deals I just spotted this plant again I don't know what it is I think it might be some type of fern Maybe probably something else but it is another awesome deal super healthy was 14.99 [Music] now it's seven dollars pretty good deal for this plant we're down on the bottom rack now and we have some plant per air purifier it doesn't actually say what this is it reminds me of my Africa African mask plan but it probably isn't not 100 certain what this plant is good size this was 17 now 35. maybe somebody can tell me in the comments if that's a good deal because I'm not entirely sure what this plant is they've got lots of them here probably let's see about 10 of them this one even has a really healthy growth on it [Music] this one here is 15 maybe that's a different one than this but they look the same to me I'm not certain it's like an awesome car game if you're a house plant person you can let me know in the comments is this a really good deal and what is this plant called I'm not sure here is another house this is a colored Angel alone angelonia comes in a nice sized cover pot it was 29.99 and is now priceless no current price on there next to it we've got a fur this was 26.99 now 13 looks pretty healthy I'm excited I just found the most exciting find on the clearance rack though I cannot believe it let me show you pens and chicks anyone who's watched my channel for a while knows I love succulents for my rock garden these guys were 12.99 now five dollars I cannot believe it they have three of them definitely gonna be getting one or two of these what a steal that is an awesome bargain how many are in each container that is crazy let's just do a little quick count I'm gonna say I'm gonna say there's 30 in this container and it's five dollars you do the math that is a steal oh my gosh I'm even more excited there is a Russian sage I do not have any of this I totally have been looking to buy this for my Cottage Garden maybe the rock garden 2 was 12.99 now six dollars totally drought tolerant flowers it is gorgeous definitely gonna be getting this we've got a everline ever color ever line sedge grass here was 10.99 and now five dollars super Lush and healthy awesome bargain they also have a very sad looking Rhododendron on this clearance rack this is an English Rose Rhododendron it was 10.99 and there is no sticker on it so it is priceless but hopefully it's super cheap because it really looks pretty sad but maybe it's free who knows and they also have a Columbine on this clearance rack it's not looking super healthy but I'm sure there's enough life in this to make it healthy again was ten dollars and now five dollars this is winky purple white party to zone two they also have a Salvia here it is looking a little sad but it's past its prime for the season still lots of life in it this is a Carter Cara donut Salvia for West 15.99 and now six dollars and they have a spirea Bush I have many of these in my yard they self-seed really readily once you have an established Apple plants no original price but it's marked down to six dollars pretty good deal we are inside the garden center now at Lowe's let's check out what they've got right off the bat they've got a clearance rack here sorted perennials one or two gallons up to 50 percent off that that super awesome check out what they have seeing a peony right here everything looks pretty healthy and there is no markdown on it very interesting I wonder if they forgot to mark it down or if somebody put it in the wrong pile next to it we have a bleeding heart for six dollars was 15.99 foliage looks pretty good these are awesome for shade if you've got a shady spot legs sun to part shade so maybe this one can handle a little bit more Sun than usual beautiful mid to late spring flowers on bleeding hearts they've got a whole bunch of them here [Music] next it looks like we've got a whole pile of different Dark Storm Coral Bells jukura they were 15.99 now six dollars beautiful foliage these are shade to these are part shade to full shade plants for best results you want to grow these guys in definite shade and they are hearty to sewn for quite a few of them on clearance they also have a frilly version of coral bells also marked down to five dollars gorgeous Frills and they were originally ten dollars the other one is a dark storm Coral Bells and they are six dollars now or 15.99 we've got a sunshine strain Lenten rose [Music] does not say what it's marked down to but it looks super healthy I have to assume it's probably 50 off but no price marked on it blue Skywalker Speedwell this is a Veronica what's 14.99 again no price March but I'm going to assume it's 50 off based on the sign here so that would mean it should be 7.99 which is a pretty awesome deal [Music] by these guys too look at these the full purple flowers we've got a red peony for 24.99 again on the clearance rack I have to assume it's 50 off based on this sign maybe I'll if I find someone working here I will ask but uh very healthy looking still and now we have a Rockets ligirlio like like gleria not saying that right it was 15.99 now six dollars it does look sad probably should be cheaper than that but it is what it is that we've got a Hosta this one was called Christmas tree it's 12.99 now five dollars looks pretty healthy still small size pot but it doesn't really matter these are awesome for shady locations or part shade and they need a moderate amount of water from my own personal experience next we have whisper pink cat mate was 15.99 now six dollars another one that is really tempting me very drought very drought tolerant plant this would be awesome in my rock garden or a Cottage Garden before blooms spring and summer and fall long bloomer next we have English lavender 24.99 it's no price but it's gotta be at least 12.99 probably cheaper still looks really healthy [Music] next we have [Music] Dark Knight garden sage for six dollars looks nice and healthy still was sixteen dollars another interesting one Dreamland Crane's Bill geranium hybrid 15.99 now six dollars Gorgeous Flowers on this guy huge pot oh we are in the tropical section now and I spy some clearance tags look at these leaves this is absolutely gorgeous see what these guys are this is I think a bird of paradise it was 56.99 now 27.50 that is an absolute steal look at this foliage we've got a whole rack of film there's probably 20 to 30 birds of paradise marked down to the 27.50 prize from 57 that is an absolute bargain if you're going for a tropical look in your home or garden head to Lowe's right now do not walk you need to run this is a start the car kind of bargain right here right next to these clearance birds of paradise we've got another rather tropical looking plant right here it's like some kind of a palm majesty palm doesn't say if this is marked down these are a hundred dollars I don't see a clearance sticker but they may be on clearance because most of the other plants on the rack are clearing so I wouldn't be surprised coat another aisle now supervisor is having an awesome time oh you love plant shopping and these kind of butterflies always draw me in they are ten dollars kind of expensive but definitely a garden novelty we are in the tree and shrub section now and I just started in spotted an absolute bargain [Music] these here are emerald Cedars I have 13. in my backyard garden that I planted and three that were original to my home this is what they look like when they are small these are one gallon Emerald Cedars these do require a lot of water they are not water they're not a drought tolerant plant seeing average water to medium but let me tell you they require a fair bit of Fair bit of trees great for privacy they've been marked down to 475 each that is an absolute steal they have a whole bunch here so if you're in the market for Emerald Cedars on Vancouver Island go to Lowe's right now [Music] we've got all kinds of vines marked down to five dollars this one here it's a honeysuckle for five dollars a really good bargain full spun into part shade [Music] they do have clematis this one is called Vancouver sea breeze also five dollars it doesn't look super healthy but I'm sure you could rehab this it's very easily and flowers are also included here and they are all five dollars including a Climbing Hydrangea and a climbing rose high flyer for five dollars that's what the foliage looks like the one Virginia creeper left it looks like for five dollars got a really interesting Vine I've never heard of this that's what it's called I'm not gonna try to pronounce it I got the foliage it's pretty much variegated and almost curled like a curled variegation it's very cool and once again only five dollars oh my gosh I just spotted some what I believe are fruit trees and they are clearance version pairs is marked down to forty five dollars not sure what the original price was 89.99 wow what a bargain if you're looking for a pear tree definitely head to Lowe's they look really healthy still these trees get them in the ground and thoroughly water them daily if possible by Spring you will be very happy that you planted your fruit tree and got it at an awesome deal they also have apple trees this is a z-star apple number five for forty five dollars was originally 89.99 still looks healthy and they've got a couple of these left and a couple of the Urgent pears left next we're checking the Japanese maples it looks like most of the garden center at Lowe's is on clearance I don't know if everything is but I'd say 90 of the plants here are clearance marked look at the size of these check this out these are the Japanese maples right beside me at Lowe's they are huge just to give you a comparison for size I'm five foot four these trees are all taller than me I'm gonna guess close to Six Feet now let's take a look at the price so this is what the trees look like these are the dark Rich purpley almost black colored Japanese maples they come in many different varieties if you're unfamiliar with the Japanese maple they are very slow growing and they tend to be shallow rooted in the maple tree family there's my supervisor and we've got Maple was 129 this is a blood good Japanese maple now 65 dollars that is a smoking good deal like full to parched Sun and my own experience with Japanese maples living on Central Vancouver Island is once you establish them they're actually quite drought tolerant I don't know if that's for everyone but my yard is super dry and I have two established Japanese maples and they are very drought tolerant so that is my own experience with these varieties of plants it may be different in different growing zones but definitely a steal on these plants for being over six feet tall go grab one right now if you love these plants they won't last long they also have boxwoods here these are these don't appear to be marked down yet these boxwoods they are one gallons [Music] and they're 22.99 but I bet if you wait a week or less maybe I bet if you wait a week or so these will be marked down probably half price because almost everything in the garden center is already marked down most of it 50 off some of it more than 50 off same with the ornamental grasses here they have Breezy feather Reed grass 22.99 again these are not marked down yet this is the whole rack of non-mark-down stuff same with the boxwoods but give it a week or two I'm willing to bet these will all be marked down oh we are back in the Japanese maple section on the other side of the rack I found a few more plants better also marked down we have a Empire an Empire one Japanese maple was fifty dollars now twenty five dollars this is what the foliage looks like these are smaller pot sizes easier to plant the smaller the pot the smaller the holes so consider that when you're buying trees and shrubs they also have this very delicate looking Japanese meeple no price on this one but I'm assuming it's probably pretty similar to the one over here and they have two of these delicate looking Japanese maples left [Music] actually there is a price this is an in in in a b shidari Japanese maple was 58 now 25. [Music] oh my God I just bought it something I don't know if I can leave without buying this is clearance assorted mini succulents for 50 cents are you kidding me this is what they look like I could totally see these in some fairy garden displays probably not something that'll survive outside here but I might take a chance like oh my God how cute is this these are the cutest little succulents I'm gonna have to buy some I'm not sure how many but they have a whole bunch of um I'm gonna refrain myself but I'm going to get something from here and I can't come to Lowe's without checking out the fountains we checked these out last time but I'm gonna look at some of the other ones they've sold most of the display models now but I'm still dreaming of the day I can get a water feature for a future Garden this one here is very tempting I love the multi-level look to this I could totally see creating a miniature Water Garden and even incorporating some fairy elements to a garden like this it is so Whimsical I dream of one day having a fountain like this a waterfall a pond all the things and who doesn't love the sound of water I absolutely love it these ones over here are pretty equally Whimsical as well I really love this one here again I could totally see a fairy garden display with this and it's 178 dollars [Music] 178 oh my God the supervisor is investigating the fountains zipper this is not a drinking goal so let's not think about that so far he hasn't but I know what his mind is thinking some very modern looking Fountains at the top a very cute Fountain bird baths tangle foot tree care if you know what this is for you know I did buy this online a couple years ago before YouTube it does work it's a lot of work but if you need it this is a really good deal 15.99 was 21.99 they've got lots left foreign shopping trip and let me show you what I scored here is my cart I ended up picking up one of the hearty yellow ice plants these were marked down to five dollars really good bargain I also picked up a gypsophilia Rosa marked down into five dollars I got two Russian sages they use the word 12.99 marked down to five dollars one had a six dollar price tag but they honored the five dollar one because they should be the same price and I also picked up these little succulents so cute three of them 50 cents each for a grand total there's my receipt quick peek for a grand total of 24.07 when you include the Canadian taxes so that is my little shopping haul from Lowe's in Nanaimo if you enjoyed this video please give it a like it lets YouTube know that you love what you're seeing and you'd like to see more of it I hope you get out into your local nursery and find some killer plant Bargains there out there you've just gotta go check it out supervisor says bye for now
