guys here on this main road which is called Thai as you're going up towards the center of the city if you come and take a right here into this small little alley and you go a little straight there is this incredibly famous and delicious or so I've heard delicious uh snail shop called Juan oh please which is run by uh kind of like a lady I think in our 30s you guys know I'm not gonna lie you guys know I'm not a big ale fan you guys probably seen from Max's videos but we're here in haifong snails and high Palm are incredibly famous and this place looks really fun so 7 P.M Wednesday evening we'll have some fun I think I think it's in here and I think it's down another little tiny alley this is not okay okay this is it oh man they have their own nice parking here nice and this is my spot sorry okay I think that means yes okay look at this this looks so cool she has all the different types of Seafood just in like nice little pots up front with the names I love they have the names because I don't know the names of almost any of these I know some of them though because I did a little bit of research man how fresh they look on ice keep them nice and fresh that's good hopefully okay we definitely have to get some of these this looks good 150k for plates foreign here in this little alley it's not too busy now someone wow nice nice seating too right here this is our restaurant today we're uh we're um we're renting out the entire place just uh just place just place for one which is nice because I need I need my big nice table to help me film because I don't have any cameraman foreign I'm tired [Music] um foreign wow [Applause] Tamarind sauce in here I think I think these two are so it won't work baby you know baby baby Motel just wanted to see how she's cooking man just so many types wow guys okay let's see what we got here okay while we're waiting I think we're just gonna go straight in for the this one looks really good to me I want to do the Oklahoma some of this by Meeks I'm gonna just get some of the to buy me with the sochumoy first oh nice and sweet yeah it's not like kind of like salted egg yolk sauce in the past but it's really grown on me this year I love the sweet salty combination but also it has a really nice texture with the egg yolk it gets kind of this this is not a great way to explain it but it has this grainy just like very smooth and grainy sort of texture those two words don't work together that's exactly what it is that grain you get from an egg yolk when it's all melted down and that deep yellow color a little like knife pointy looking tools to help get the uh help get the the Snail out of the shell this is going to be I've gotten a very good about bringing wet wipes everywhere I go now because I know that when I have a camera and I'm filming by myself my hands are about to get messy we're just gonna go with our hands oh it's hot they just it's all fresh they just pulled it straight out of the pot look at that let's pull it straight out oh man man Super Fresh tasting they've cleaned it very well there's no at least from that bite wood we'll have to take a few more bites before we know but bam The Binding too The Binding itself this is I'll get the piece I have it ripped off of but it's really nice and fresh crunchy on the outside [Music] wow so this uh the baby I got a big plate and the Vega also comes with bang me itself so I have four four giant pieces of banging I I meant I'm so unprofessional when it comes to a breaking ship I think um about that thank you did not think this Crab Claw would be this tough to break there we go okay we did it successful broken look at this look at the meat let's grab our sharp little tool dirty hands just get in there pull out some of that meat [Music] has really really soaked in there it's gotten into the uh in between the uh the nooks and grannies of the uh of the shell you can really taste it in there and they give you they give you so much of the sauce you can just go ahead go back in there and dip look at that crabby it's a little this is a hard dish to get into but it's worth it amazing I think this Tamarind sauce is also deserving of a dip with the bang me it's a nice soft inside soaks up that sweet and sour sauce I think that's the correct way to do it you work hard you get some of the meat after you break it open you work hard to get that by another Seafood then you take the bind me you get some sauce nice easy Bites don't need to work too hard for it keeps you going you're like oh man I got some food without having to work too hard and I'm ready to keep working harder it's a good it's a good balance you got to think about these things when you order food like this snail is much much easier to get out than the crop clock so it's a nice back and forth back and forth now of course we cannot forget the beautiful baby now baby it's it's not it's not shrimp it's kind of like a mantis shrimp in English it's not it's not quite that it's just I don't know what you call it this is baby this is purple thing it looks like a shrimp they've done it with uh corn on top they have the butter sauce look at all that butter sitting in there it's like a butter bath I think I feel so stupid for having to ask this I actually don't know hello okay I think okay okay so there's the the part on the bottom okay so it's just the top that you eat then okay nice and easy man look at that look at that meat it just flakes apart super juicy still super buttery and not butter soaked in there look at that super super sweet and savory that is a butter bath and this thing has soaked in it sucked up all those delicious juices and just look look at that look at the butter coming out of their feet when I squeeze it look how much butter comes out oh man um we got confirmation I'm doing it okay sometimes sometimes that's what we gotta do that's why I learned the language guys oh yeah more challenges [Laughter] I'm becoming the Matchmaker of my palm over here you can eat some oh become a Matchmaker in my voice I haven't I haven't tried any of these with any of them all of these have sauces themselves so I haven't even needed to try any of the sauces with um that they gave me but they have this so they have the spicy chili sauce here as well with tons of green onion shallots in it oh that's that's nice little sweet and add a little bit of spice to it and it actually actually thought I ordered too much but I think I think I'm gonna be able to finish this by myself oh and Destiny has decided that we will have this sauce as well I picked it up and it just fell inside that one's good so that one's nice and freshening a little bit sour that one that's also good the sauce for the having it so it has no mum has coriander obviously more the uh the shallots in there that sauce is really good for the baby what a beautiful piece dripping with butter I think feels like an idiot so the meat's on the bottom there you get all the corn on top don't waste that corn it's nice it reminds me of like some Sweet Corn that we have for Thanksgiving at my house rip out some of the meat man these are just filled with meat here I love how easy they make it to grab that look at that all of it popped out I'm getting better this is gonna be the money bite you dip this in the uh oh dipping a little bit more butter plate dripping with butter I love places to make eating fun easy and delicious [Music] in town I'm nervous now I'm nervous um thank you that was so nice she saw me she saw me struggling with the uh crab she came over I was about to ask her too that's so smart it's actually like a little spoon that's kind of rounded off on the bottom oh the meat gets out oh that's so much easier the boss always knows what she's doing I'm not gonna lie out of all all three of these dishes we have the baby boom we have to Kang here I think my favorite has to be the saltine it's this perfect these two if you have too much at one time it gets a little bit overpowering on the palette it's like too much sweet or like very very rich flavor with the butter the salt May is just sour a little bit of sweet and sour it's the hardest to get into so it makes you take your time but man just the the sauce Tamarind sauce just in credible and it's just one you just keep coming back to and it breaks up the other two so nicely go ahead yeah foreign [Music] [Laughter] [Applause] okay um outside [Music] okay that was a lot of fun so let me show you this is this is right here where I just washed my hands um you wash your hands here and then you have this special guys are you I'm good how are you oh yeah okay very good thank you thank you oh man what a fun place what a fun restaurant okay that and then that little bucket you saw you put your hands in it he opens it he's like put your hands in here and it gets rid of the uh the smell what time is it right now it's like 8 30. I'm gonna go I think we gotta finish off tonight with a special dessert of haifang [Music] no don't even order the food comes to you yeah let's see okay no order needed cup comes I shouldn't ask what I wanted to eat I think she probably assumed anyone who's probably not from here is definitely definitely coming to eat this wow this is not what I expected so it's called which is basically a mix of everything coconut coconut milk coconut meat coconut everything and he had nice shaved ice oh man this looks so good it's just this is coconut coconut dessert feast mountain of deliciousness in a cup oh super sweet I'm sorry it's super super aromatic coconut milk it's not too sweet though actually take I take it back it's not sweet very aromatic a lot of coconut flavor raw coconut flavor oh man oh look at that all the coconut little jelly pieces this is a lot better than I was expecting I was expecting just a nice coconut refreshing treat but this is like this is really delicious these are some some tapioca pearls tencho oh my God I think we're gonna call this a day it's been fun I've had a lot of good foods here in haifang had a really fun trip funny I've been here so many times but this trip has been so different just because I've been focused more on the food so Vietnam I actually probably will be here tomorrow but that's okay I'll come here next time oh that's so funny Mary Vietnamese girl everybody tells me the same thing it's so funny it's so funny because it's like everybody says the same thing I just like I wonder why do we do that in America like when a foreigner comes to my city and like we talked I guess foreigners come to my city and nobody talks to them see you guys tomorrow
