alright guys this one has been in my mind for a while and honestly I'll tell you how it started I'll watch my cousin play pub G and I'm like sure to the trades you shoot through the tree trees home spot stop bullets and I asked him he's like yeah a tree stop every bullet I like do they though and so that's what this one's all about we get the Humvee out because my Ranger wouldn't hold all the guns but we have anything from 22 to nine-millimeter 357 12 gauge slug 338 Lapua and the 50 Cal that's right we're gonna see what it takes to shoot through a tree and wonderfully enough you see this tree right here it has volunteered as tribute to this video actually it gets peppered a lot by marksmanship camps with the 12-gauge so it's in front of the berm so it's just a perfect subject and it's one that you know okay this isn't a scientific test because there's different tree sizes and there's different tree densities obviously an Oaks gonna do the best at stopping any kind of bullet but we have a buttload of pine trees because we live in a national well around the National Forest here so it's like a pine tree would be perfect and this guy right here it's it's about a minimum size is if I wanted to hide behind something it's gonna be just enough to hide behind and me feel comfortable enough but will it stop bullets we're gonna find out and so to volunteer is the test media subject what we have here I guess we'll call them bill because it's kind of like jello so it's thinking you know kind of Bill Cosby here has their issue them and so we're gonna this is a clear ballistics penetrates so we have anything from 20 to 45 nine-millimeter 357 and then what would be after that probably 12 gauge followed by 223 7 62 by 39 308 300 Win Mag 300 338 Lapua and 50 BMG let's shut up I don't know what it looks like CCI standard in there we're gonna start three rounds in the tree 22 is just because we kind of have to just to make it star so here we go like we really needed to check that all right I guess nine millimeter should have been next but 45 is closest so we have the 45 this is the LAX ammo and half annex tactical hey go see the video I'm a squish and see how squish it is FN loves that video all right 45 did nothing moving on all right now we got a 9-millimeter yes 9-millimeter might be smaller but it's gonna have more penetration than a 45 we have the angel fire 147 grain Bowers is 9 verse 9s suppressor on a three lug now shake yeah just a quick twist and it's off let's do it oh yeah see mm g-guard if you're wondering no nothing at all all right putting the ear Pro on for the 223 we have the Adams arms with angel fire 55 grain let's this is getting to the point I'm kind of like yeah maybe maybe maybe probably not but maybe yeah not a chance and if you saw me cycling it just because I forgot what my suppressor settings were and so it's not ejecting without the suppressor yes please Galil OWI the ace 762 by 39 this is to lower wolf one or the other who cares it's it's a full metal jacket that's what matters they are not still core but they do have a bi metal jacket which is cool when you shoot up at night you get to see sparks on targets Bauer's verse 30 suppressor I've shot through trees with 7 62 by 39 before but they were smaller or dead since 223 stopped in that tree I think this one will as well oh do you hear the ping I love that piston ping it's worth here we're gonna eject it out just so you can hear the ping again I hope that picks up on camera that's too awesome I start dead center of the tree [Music] bill is doing a good he is alive and well ting now this one should have been earlier 357 Black Hills ammo I got some nice hollow points here really hollow points not gonna matter on a tree because you have no hydrostatic shock to expand the bullet anyway but this is a fun gun because it's Henry Bowers verse 9s suppressor with a 357 Magnum that's right so it's gonna be a little louder cuz we're breaking the sound barrier but bill won't mind Bill's okay but the tree is it okay those 9 with those 357 hollow points did matter when they hit a tree that was cool 12-gauge time of my Terran tactical innovations Benelli m2 with some Federal Premium troub although recalled rifles to the hollow points west were running about 1,300 feet per second this got to do some damage to the tree there's no way that one out slug though is passing through it but we got a do it right and plus I get to shoot a 12-gauge again so there we go that bark was splashing back good yes but yeah no penetration some of this is a 357 that was the 12-gauge and over here we have a pristine pine and Bill it got a little dirt on them but that's it now something is bound to happen soon this now we're at 7 62 by the well 308 for everyone else get my ears out Leroux special edition FTE proto to burr it's got the drink we low on it some German ammo here we might see something soon let's do it nothing trees bulletproof up to 308 let's get bigger this one's another unsuppressed one just because I don't feel like screwing on and off everything but we have the savage 110 or is it just the 10 I forget what they call them be a 300 Win Mag shooting some solid copper 6 our elites performance MO it is 165 grain running over 3,000 feet per second with 3,500 foot-pounds of energy that's right come on 300 mag it's got to go through right let's see I've never shot this rifle through the aim point on just for today wow that was a break day good thing all right oh I can't believe it alright uh I'm gonna go fresh part of the tree right there I'm downright impressed 300 Win Mag and bill is still in pristine condition and the trees stopping everything we throw at it 338 Lapua time so you want to do it right it's lawa if you want to do it Texas Lapua same thing we're going on but this time with the elite iron suppressor I have a review video about that Hornady 250 grain going 28 60 feet per second at least that's what it says in the box that muzzle break did such a good job at aiming that 300 Win Mag it almost surprised me so it'll be to compare it to what the suppressor does do it I'm gonna go dead center yeah see where bill is dead center right about there where we at 12x is a bit close oh my gosh he still looks good we're gonna go for one third of the tree I am so stinking impressed another we're gonna try on the third of the tree [Applause] absolutely nothing zero that tree is bulletproof so far so that means it's 50 Cal time yeah I'm totally not standing that close to it when we're shooting 250 we're backing up I will freehand it though just for fun I'm not gonna lie I'm a little nervous it's been a while since I shot the 50 with a big-boy ammo it's always been the subsonic by Detroit ammo for the marksmen camp all right I can see the corner of his shoulder so I know right where to aim for now is where you go in the comment section say oh yeah I think the 50 will go through shut up and shoot hello okay I saw stuff on both ends let's go check it out oh it's awesome though if it didn't go through we get to shoot again everything go through or shouldn'ta chin anyway all right yeah of course tree damage oh oh oh oh okay we got crap all on him tree on him but oh yeah we went through we were just at a bad angle oh darn that means we have to shoot again let's do it and who knows what kind of deflection you're gonna get on the inside of a pine tree take a little more time try to make it go straight through Center oh I love the overpressure on that okay I say I love the overpressure when you're shooting at once or twice when you're shooting at 20 times or so not so much all right went through I see lots of trash but I don't see a bullet my angle looks pretty darn good all right we had two penetrations but both times they missed bill we're gonna scoop peel all the way up make him hug the tree and then see what we got all right bill you're not hiding from deflection now I wonder how long that tree is gonna live after this leave another comment bobby'll who did it go through and oh no way yes yes look at that 50 Cal slug it's hard to see you through that glare dead in the center oh that is beautiful it's backwards it flipped around probably in the tree which is probably why we missed so many times on deflection there rolling in the tree before they come out and then look at that beautiful oh wow that's too cool that that's right there that is too cool alright I'm gonna dig it out that is too cool oh no way that's the steel core that's not that the copper jacket has been shed completely these are manufactured with the steel core just for mainly cost efficiency we're gonna go compare it to another FMJ it has shed its entire jacket and just the steel core came through so maybe that's what's happening on all these bullets everything that has any type of jacket or copper or is just too weak and in fact if this didn't have a steel core who knows what would happen but that is awesome well that answers the question on what it takes to get through a tree so I guess gosh pub she kind of had it right cuz I don't think you're shooting 50s in that and ever even 338 Lapua did not go through the tree so there you go guys you can take cover behind a tree and it will stop every modern rifle round that's intermediate at least until you get to the guy with the 50 Cal he's gonna take you out well we thanks clear ballistics for synonym bill over if you want him back he's a little dirty and holy but we'll send him anyway in the meantime y'all shoot straight thanks for He shot a bunch of FMJ, jacketless lead, full copper, and hollow point ammunition, of course none of those are going through they're just going to deform on impact, and most of those don't go through trees in EFT either. You absolutely need a steel core to penetrate thick hardwood, and the only round with one that he used was the .50 BMG.

I'm not going to say EFT's world penetration is perfect but a hardened steel core 5.45 AP round is probably going to go through a tree.

The main thing that pubg has over tarkov is actual distance. You can scope spot someone from up to 999 meters away and 200-300 meter fights are not uncommon.

Tarkov is mostly two dudes with machine guns going to town on each other at less than 100 meters.

On a side note Tarkov from the beginning seems to be a high quality but small dev team project. PUBG was literally cut and paste trash on a budget and just got crazy lucky they pulled a billion dollars to fund further development. It wouldn't be anything like it is now if not for that.

Imagine what Nikita could do with a few hundred million dollars overnight to this game.

But PUBG doesn't have any environment penetration. So what's your point? That's a full release title and EFT isn't.

Good thing the game is still in development and ammo/penetration is not finalized and is being tested and changed every patch.
