Shelflove Crate Vs. FairyLoot | September 2019 | Book Box Battle

hey guys tabi here and welcome back to my channel so guys i have a another book box battle for you guys and it is going to be shelf love crates versus fairy loot and this is actually their first time ever battling against each other a lot of you guys requested that I battle these two boxes this month because both of these boxes have a rather witchy theme so I'm really hoping we get some Harry Potter items because well I always want Harry Potter items I mean you guys know that but for those who are new these are two of my book box subscriptions and this is the video I do to battle them out to see which box in my opinion did better this month but as you guys know I love all of my book box subscriptions this isn't saying one is better than the other because it changes every single month that's kind of why I love battling them out you never know which one is really gonna win but that is enough talking let's get to these boxes if you were interested keep watching and let's get into it okay and we're gonna start with a shelf left crate first sneak peek the spoiler card is normally on top I don't want to look at everything do we not have a spoiler cart okay I'm gonna go ahead and move some wormies does they spoil the card this month Oh kind of give me Sabrina vibes um the theme was the witching hour so we will save this for last but I see a massive white box on top I think it's a mug oh it is a mug yes you say which like it's a bad thing oh this is Sabrina that's so funny I was getting Sabrina vibes off the spoiler cart and the first item is Sabrina I really like this mug it's like the same design on both sides white on the inside black rim fairly good size oh I am a fan of this because I was very hesitant to watch the new supreme because it looked creepy af legit and it is guys it really is it's creepy but in a very good way so if you haven't watched it use hold Alicia I am a big fan of the first item I love getting coffee mugs and boxes my collection is quite fast okay next I see a candle and it says a discovery of witches sage lemongrass 4 ounces shuffle of crates I don't know what this is based off of but let's smell it so it's just a plain white candle ooh I definitely smell the lemon I actually really like the smell of this candle now design-wise it isn't like my favorite candle we've ever gotten and I have a lot of candles if you guys do not like candles then getting multiple book box subscriptions is probably not a good idea because I have so many but I do like the smell and kind of shape of it not my favorite ever but still a really good candle I love the smell next we have oh it's a magnet and it says always throw spirit salt over your left shoulder keep rosemary by your garden gates plant lavender for luck and fall in love whenever you can I know that that's practical magic I'm am I wrong no that's from practical magic I am almost 99.9% positive that that saying is from practical magic which is one of my absolute favorite witchy movies I really wanted to be a witch growing up like I'm not gonna lie I tried to light a candle by blowing on it it didn't work but I tried so I really love this magnet I have tons of Harry Potter magnets very few book-related magnets so I'm very excited to add this to my collection next we have our chess pieces White's Harry Potter based so of course we have Harry Potter with green eyes which I love that it's accurate and green and not blue he even has his lightning bolt up there that is really cute and then of course we have Draco Malfoy kind of with a mean face but so on character so I absolutely love these if you guys like boxes that have collectible items then the chess pieces from shelf love crate I think are my favorites things that we get every single month because they're just so freakin cute and they make such good additions to my bookshelf will I put these on my Harry Potter book shelves or these I do not know yet but I love that these are Harry Potter base next we have Lou we have a necklace that says hello witchling that is off throne of glass I am almost positive because they called all their new like young witches which links so it's a very pretty necklace I like that it's just a Hello witchling um but it is gold and as you guys know gold is not really my favorite but I really love the throne of glass series so I will probably end up wearing this quite a bit and next we have a ooh is this like a Ouija board ooh my mama told me never to play with Ouija boards murrs aust power over life and death Mirza Mirza I don't know what that is oh it is a Ouija board oh my gosh you guys it really is a spirit board okay sorry spirit board like calls to like oh that sounds so familiar like calls to like I think this is grish averse I might be completely wrong but I think this is based off of the guruvar series whoo that is pretty cool I'm gonna be honest guys I will probably we never actually use this because legit you don't mess with that kind of stuff unless you want it to mess with you back but it's a very very cool I will probably display it somewhere like on my bookshelf or something but yeah I will not be calling to anybody because I don't want to answer back and we are finally to the book let me take it out of the package and we have a signed book plate and a bookmark that says the age of Darkness approaches 5 life stand in its way who will stop it or unleash it woohoo ok and the book is there will come a darkness by Katie Rose pull ooh I really like the cover of this that is very pretty let's see what it looks like without ooh but we do have a map I love when books have maps so just red with silver on the side no reversible dust jacket or anything so I'm gonna read the description real fast the deceiver and snares the world with lies to deaths pale hands the wicked fall that which sleeps in the dust shall rise and in their wake will come a darkness for generations the Seven prophets use their visions of the future to end wars and is some romance and it's my kind of book okay so that was everything from shuffle of crate as always you guys will have to let me know what was your favorite item least favorite um ooh this is kind of hard definitely for me the Sabrina cub was my absolute favorite but I really did like we got Harry Potter chess pieces of course but I also really liked the magnet and necklace my least favorite item would probably be the candle but yeah let's take a quick look at our spoiler card Jojo it just has like an interview with the author and then the photo challenge and a description of all the items so the candle was from a discovery of witches so the spirit board was based off Krisha verse which link necklace to judge holding a bitch's a Sabrina and the magnet was inspired by practical magic yes and next month's theme is page to screen ooh what books are you waiting to see on the big screen this October's shelf love is taking you to the movies we got you covered with some of our most unique items yet fandoms include Game of Thrones the Lord of the Rings Harry Potter a court of thorns and roses illuminate a darker shade of magic Coraline and Shadowhunters so everything that is amazing yes to all of that and the only thing that I haven't read or watched yet is the illuminate and I'm really trying to fit that in this month I think this was a very strong box from shelf love crate but will it be enough to beat fairy lutes hmm I don't know cuz very lukewarm aliy kills it this was a very good box though so let us see sneak peek Oh something it looks like we have a bath bomb and it literally is over everything I don't know if you can see how much Wow okay but this is the spoiler card and the theme moist which is to be crazy I will keep this close at hand let's go ahead and start with the bath bomb that is everywhere um cauldron bath bomb ooh melon scented bath bomb cruelty-free vegan free and it has the ingredients which I always appreciate but I do love a good bath bomb and I really like that it's like a cauldron bath bomb it is perfectly on theme but yeah this is the bath bomb and it really is kind of like a little cauldron oh and it does smell really good Wow this maybe should have been wrapped in some things next we have some socks and you guys know I like socks and it says witches be crazy fluffy socks and we have like a twitchy hat up here oh I really love these kind of socks and the fact that it's like witchy with that witching hats I am a fan of this and next we have some more playing cards so this is actually my third deck of playing cards that I've gotten in a book box subscription I think I got the first one from AL crates and then I have one from shelf love crate and now one from fairy lutes this must be a trend going around the book box community oh and these have a silver edge ooh that is pretty okay so this is the back of all of them um definitely not my favorite out of the three that I have but let's see what designs we have oh we have Sabrina I don't recognize all of them but still these are very cool if you don't have any then I'm sure you would absolutely love these but compared to my other designs of playing cards that I already have they're definitely not my favorite design but they're still very pretty I the silver now I have three sets of bookish based playing cards and I love it I'm a big fan next we have a oh it's it's hopes oh and it's a big tote hold the phone it has some potion and nine candles crystals moon butterfly this is really cool I'm not sure what this is based off of but I really like this you guys know I love when we get totes so that is that is awesome next we have a pouch but it's like covered in the bath bomb oh my god okay so it is a fairy loot pouch and it sounds like something metal oh it's straws oh that is cool it's like metal straws and this one says magic and then the black one says which I actually don't have any metal straws so that is actually really cool I've never gotten straws from a box and it also came with a little cleaner that's very eco-friendly too so I really love this that is such a cool idea next we have our two tarot cards the ace of cups and the High Priestess so we are on a new theme I'm not quite sure what book these are based off of but they're gorgeous as always and I love that I get to add them to my collection ooh and next we have oh it is an enamel pin oh my gosh I love this so much it says not your basic witch enamel pin design bye that's lovely dear shop so it's kind of like a Starbucks cup with a which I absolutely love this pin oh my gosh it's like my two favorite things coffee and witches and stuff oh I want to wear this every day because I am NOT your basic witch that is the coolest pin design ever I absolutely love this pin I cannot say it enough and next we have oh this box oh my god it is the Luna notepad and it says you're just as sane as I am and it has Lunas glasses on there and it even has her bunny Patronus and her wand so we did end up getting something Harry Potter based in both boxes oh I love this so much Luna is one of my favorite characters she was definitely I think underrepresented in the movies but this is so cool I do have quite a few notepads and stuff but I definitely think this is my absolute favorite yeah I think this is my favorite one so far you're just as sane as I am which is not very much and guys we are finally to the book which as always comes in the fairy loot pouch happy reading let us see it did come with a letter from the author and an art print on B front that that's very Christmassy I'm getting Christmas vibes off of this I guess we didn't get a bookmark oh there it is we did get a bookmark and it is the same cover as our spoiler card fairy loot on the back but let's get to this book it is serpent and Dove by Shelby Maren Morin I should just give up and just point this is the author but wow this is a gorgeous cover I mean oh my gosh this book is freaking massive how many pages over 500 this is so gorgeous but I cannot get over these gold sprayed edges guys I am in love I don't even think the camera is doing this justice and for this month I do believe we got sprayed edges and a reversible dust jacket so let's take a look oh and it is signed by the author so just black without and gold on the spine but let's see this reversible dust jacket ooh okay so this must be a Christmas face book because there's a Christmas tree every birthday I'm digging the reversible dish targets okay I'm gonna read the description real fast bound is one to love honor or burn two years ago Lewis lay blank fled her coven and took shelter in the city obsessor n' forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could still they're witches like Louie are hunted they are feared gonna be on my TBR for next month because there's no way I can fit it in this month but this sounds amazing so guys that was everything from faerie loot as always you will have to let me know what was your favorite item least favorite um definitely hands down the book I've never said that before but the book is my favorite item I haven't even read it yet but the luna notebook and the not your basic witch enamel pen these items I absolutely freakin love I cannot talk about these enough but I also really like the socks and the metal straws that we got my least favorite item might be the bath bomb and again I have thousands of bath bombs it seems and it kind of got everywhere but let's take a quick look at this month's ferry scoop which is a bit crazy okay we have the interview with the author oh and now available in the fairy trove is the book box and the death and the magician tarot cards and then we have the read-along that starts October 14th and next month's theme is love at first bite this vampire themed box is the perfect box for autumn and Halloween we've never curated a box like this before so we're very excited about all the vampire inspired goodies most of the items in this box are fandom neutral but we will say that you can expect items inspired by Dracula an interview with a vampire this box is jam-packed we'll have an exclusive candle hand poured by the melting libraries and the book next month we'll have versatile dust jacket art sprayed edges and signed by the author so just like this month which I absolutely love it's like the best of all the boxes so yeah Oh shelf love crate and fairy loot both sound really good next month do I want to babble them again maybe maybe but guys that was everything from faerie lutes wow this was such an amazing box but was it enough to beat shuffle of crates both of these were actually really good boxes but I I think very loot one guys I mean their box was Jam freakin packed and I think the book just kind of stole
