check that out let's go ahead and get into my recommendations all right so we are going to do recommendations by brand that is really the best way for me to handle recommendations it's the easiest way for me to kind of like keep myself controlled otherwise i could pretty much recommend like 200 products from sephora all right i'm going to start with dior because dior is a brand that only recently have i really gotten into and i am so happy about that so they recently reformulated and kind of revamped their eyeshadow quint line and they are gorgeous all of them i have i believe most of them i still need to put a video up but i have most of them and they all have this wonderful baked formula where the metallics are really shiny the satins are really smooth the mattes are really pigmented and i do have one of them on my eyes today so i do love this entire line but the one shade that i've been reaching for the most is soft cashmere and that is this one right here it is very very neutral and i just have this one shade up here all over my eyelids and these are just great one and done shadows this one's a little bit deeper if you want to go a little bit more smoky you can use that kind of all over the lid but they're just gorgeous and all of the shades in here work really well together and like i said they're very very pigmented they're so smooth and they're so easy to work with um let me go ahead and swatch these for you actually so here are the five shades this white shade that you see it has like a little micro glitters in there it's like a topper shade it's so pretty there's just like the slightest hint of a peachiness to it oh it's it's just a very kind of like feminine pretty pretty kind of color and then this is the one that i have all over my lid and then this is the one that's underneath that i said if you wanted something a little bit deeper than this one you could use this to get a little bit more of like a smoky look but as you can see all of these shades would work beautifully together if you wanted to do like a more sculpted look but isn't that so pretty i just love it and i love the formula i love this color story it's just it's neutral so i feel like when i put this shadow on i can pretty much pair it with any kind of like blush or lipstick it's just gorgeous so this is my first recommendation from dior my next one is one that i've been talking about quite a bit and that is the blush in 219. uh i love this blush it's slightly peachy it has the most beautiful beautiful like sheen to it that was like the worst place to swatch this but it has like a beautiful like golden kind of sheen to it i just love it it's easy to apply it blends out beautifully it's actually what i have on my cheeks today it's just gorgeous it has fast become one of my favorite blushes ever since i got it maybe a few months ago but it's just wonderful so that blush for sure another thing that i've talked about incessantly is the dior forever skin correct concealer i have it in the shade 2n and this is a great concealer i have this around my eyes it's just it has great coverage but it's really really skin like so it just looks really natural on the skin and this is one of those amazing concealers that i feel like i can use and lu a foundation if i just want to apply it around my eyes and then just kind of like spot conceal just little spots on my face any kind of like hyperpigmentation i may have and then just blend that in it just blends in seamlessly and i don't have to put like makeup all over my face so i've been loving that and the dior air flash foundation i was very late to this game all of the hype surrounding this foundation is true i love it i have shade 2w but i think i could be shade 2n which i'll probably pick up if i ever use this bottle or maybe i'll just get it anyway but this is such a wonderful foundation first of all it's fun to use because it's in a spray can but second of all it just has a wonderful skin like finish it has a medium kind of coverage it's definitely buildable you can definitely sheer it out if you use like a wet sponge and it just it's just really natural it's very perfecting it's just gorgeous it's just absolutely gorgeous i really did not believe the hype around this foundation until i tried it for myself so this is definitely one of my new loves from dior and then the other dior product i have been enjoying is their dior show iconic over curl mascara so i have it on my lashes right now and this is this may sound really weird but i really like the experience of applying with this mascara it has a little bit of a sticky um texture to it and i definitely had my reservations when i first started to apply it i was like oh god is this one of those sticky mascaras with that like when i blink it's going like my lashes are going to stick together but that's not the case it is sticky while you're putting it on but not once it sets down now there's like no stickiness i don't have like my lashes sticking together or anything like that but i really like how it's sticky when i apply it because it really like kind of grabs onto my lashes and it keeps it from being really messy so it's it's almost like the exact opposite of those like loose wet mascaras it just like stays put as soon as you get your wand like right onto your lashes and it does a really good job volumizing i mean it is a great mascara it doesn't flake it doesn't smudge stays put all day and it's easy to remove i don't have the waterproof version so mine is very easy to remove so that is another recent love from dior and okay i'm gonna move on before this turns into like a dior video i'm gonna move on let's move on to pat mcgrath so all right i have a few things to say about this because at first i thought of course i would recommend the celestial divinity palette it's the newest one it's part of her newest collection it is a lot of fun i have a lot of fun playing with this i've created a couple of really pretty eye looks from here and i enjoy it very much but i think if you have been tempted by her mothership palettes i would still go for one of these because these have her special baked shades which this celestial divinity palette does not have all the shades in here are like pressed powders and they're beautiful but i really like her uh baked shades and i love the the mixture of them in one palette like if you're not going for that much you know fever in your look and you want something a little bit more basic you have that but this just adds a little bit of that special something that i think is what makes pat mcgrath palettes so so special so i would take this opportunity during the the savings event to get one of these more expensive mothership palettes because these are just they're just so so special they're so gorgeous this one is divine rose and this for me is probably the most well one of the most everyday ones the other one that i would recommend is the mothership one the very first one the subliminal one with the blue shade in there i love that palette it's definitely very cool toned and i think you know we're seeing a lot more cool toned palettes that one is like a cool tone palette to get that is oh it's such a good one but anyway i just pulled out divine rose because this is a little bit newer and it's it's just really pretty so i would definitely pick up one of these mothership palettes and in terms of you know pat mcgrath in general they're really again there really isn't much that i don't like i love all of her lip products they're all really incredible but i've talked about them so so much so i'm just going to highlight one of her newer lip products and that's actually what i have on my lips today and this is one of the skin not skin lip fetish uh de vinyl lip shines and this is a nude venus so it's one that comes in like the plain pink metal packaging it's like a lip gloss in a stick it has really really high shine to it i actually have a lip gloss on over it but by itself it has plenty of shine it's gorgeous and it's really easy to wear it is a very kind of like a fair skin nude color and i just throw it on when i you know want like a lip balm but i need you know a little something for my lips i've been reaching for this this one is just easy to wear and i love it if you're into like pale nudes you're gonna love this next up natasha janona so i have three things this was hard to narrow down but i do have three things i want to recommend one of course of course this glam palette this i think i feel like i say this every time i get a new natasha denona eyeshadow palette but this i think is my favorite i really do love the biba palette this one i there's just something really really special about this particular palette i think it's because there are just mainly two formulas in here her creamy mattes and her metallics and then there's one like chroma crystal which i think is this one up here but the creamy mattes and her metallics they can do it all and i just oh my god the quality of every single shadow in here is so so good and i know just personally from past experience while i love i love natasha denona eyeshadows i feel like in some of her palettes maybe there's one that kind of performs a little bit differently it'll be like a new kind of formula or something a new kind of finish and i always love the creamy mattes and the metallics the most i always kind of gravitate towards them so i was really happy to see in this palette that that was mostly what we got here and my perfect eye shadow is like a satin metallic taupey shade and this is like the palette of my dreams like this shade this one this one i mean it's just it's like a palette of one and done eyeshadows just absolutely love it if you have not picked this up yet i highly highly recommend and then i did want to mention two pieces from her holiday collection the i need a nude glow highlighter this is a really beautiful highlighter i really really like the formula of this this is one of those like baked products so it just has like a very special kind of like sheen to it almost like those tom ford eye shadows those wet dry eyeshadows they just have this extra special like glint in their eye you know like they just have this really beautiful beautiful like sparkle to them without any micro glitter so this is incredibly gorgeous and then i did want to mention the mini zendo eyeshadow palette i love this palette when i look at it i think oh it kind of looks like a lot of other mini eyeshadow palettes but when i got this on my eyes i just loved it so much this shade i mean you look at it and you think okay it's a dark brown what am i going to do with that but it's really really pretty it's so much more special than you think it has a really high shine to it and then there's almost like this duochromey shift to it it's not a duochrome it is just one of her metallics but it has like a purpley blackened base but then the metallic sheen to it looks like it's copper don't let its like innocent appearance in the palette fool you because this one is really beautiful and then you do have this duochrome shade in there which is gorgeous and it also performs beautifully i know there's sometimes there's talk about the natasha nona mini palettes not really performing like her larger palettes this one is great the mattes when i first went in and swatched them they felt very very silky and very soft i was very very happy with the quality of this mini palette i also wanted to mention just a few of the newer things from charlotte tilbury one the highlighter i really love this highlighter it's so so pretty and it has like a very kind of creamy pressed powder formula and the sheen of this is really really beautiful so there's a slight peachiness in there and it's very very wet looking it's just it's stunning it's just stunning and i love it and this compact oh my gosh it's so giant it's the size of her bronzers that just came out but it comes in this kind of like brushed chrome finish i really love it i love the formula i love the tone of it it's very pretty other thing i wanted to mention was this newer six pan eyeshadow palette from charlotte tilbury this is the super nudes easy eye palette and this is one of those perfect like grab and go eyeshadow palettes you have three shades here that are a little bit um on the warmer side and three shades here that are a little bit on the more like neutral cooler side and you can just create like a super easy super nude eye look from here and the few eye looks i've done from this i just love they're they're basic yes for sure i don't think you're going to set the world on fire with an eye look from this palette but i can admit that on most days i am not trying to set the world on fire with my eyeshadow look that i do like something very basic so this has been uh wonderful for me and then the last thing i just want to mention from charlotte tilbury of course you guys know i could go on and on i can make just a charlotte tilbury video but this one i don't think i've mentioned in any of these recommendation videos but this is one of the what is this called magic vanish i think like color corrector i have it in the shade one fair and i was hesitant about this product because you know it is i think like a color corrector but this one fair shade works for me as a concealer it has a wonderful wonderful creamy texture and it's like like invisible under my eyes and it blends in so quickly it just takes very very little effort it's just a really great little product and i love that it comes in this like teeny tiny charlotte tilbury compact so cute so the rest of what is on my list is basically they're kind of like onesies so i don't have like big groupings of brands from here on out uh so i just wanted to mention the fenty beauty glossy posse i love this gloss formula from fenty beauty and i have i have quite a few of them but i really liked what was available in this set and i've said this before but i feel like whenever i like commit to a set there's always like one or two shades especially in lip sets that i don't like but i was really excited about all of these so i picked this up and i have cake shake on my lips that's this one right here i have that on my lips right now but i'm really excited for taffy tees baby brute and this one is ruby milk and just for the purposes of this video i kept it in this packaging but let me take these all out and swatch them all for you all right so here is ruby milk here is that cake shake shade that i have on my lips and i have it over that pat mcgrath nude venus this one is taffy tees that is this guy taffy tees and then lastly we have baby brute which is this one over here i am so excited about every single one of these shades and if you enjoy the gloss bomb formula none of these are any different these are all the same they have the same texture they have that same fragrance which reminds me of childhood but i just cannot place it yeah i just cannot place the scent maybe like a cherry chapstick i feel like that's what it smells like to me maybe anyway i absolutely love these so i also wanted to mention this concealer from clinique i have really been enjoying this concealer it is their even better all over concealer plus eraser and i have it in the shade alabaster cn 10. there are a ton of different shades i think there's more than 40 shades and it has a really really creamy texture it goes on with like medium high coverage but it just blends in really really beautifully actually reminds me a lot of the dior that i talked about this forever skin and correct one they both have that really creamy texture so that they like don't look dry and you can use them like to spot conceal on your face and then kind of forego foundation which i love i love that option and you can do that with this clinique concealer and it has this sponge tip which i'm you know i was not prepared to like i don't usually like the applicators or the brushes that come with things but this works beautifully you can see how dirty it is that i do use it this works beautifully it blends the concealer in really really quickly and it's like the perfect kind of like fingertip size so when i just kind of like stamp it back and forth just kind of blends it in and it's got this nice like point to it so i can get like right into like this inner corner of my eye where i like to make sure i have concealer in there and it's just really really handy since it's right on the concealer so i did want to mention that i did also want to mention the ilia mascara this mascara is it's just so wonderful it is just like i think my favorite like all-around mascara gives me a little bit of volume gives me a little bit of length it keeps my curl it goes on really easy it's not too thick and sticky of a formula like the dior but it's not thin either so it's not messy to put on and it doesn't smudge it doesn't flake it doesn't move all day it washes away really easily and the wand is very interesting so on the top here it has bristles that are a little bit shorter and closer together and then you can flip it and you get bristles that are a little bit longer and farther apart so what i like to do is build up a little bit of volume with the shorter denser side and then i'll brush it through with my second coat with like the lengthening side and it's really just great i just really love this mascara so this is another one that i would definitely recommend all right i've got one perfume that i want to mention you guys know i love joe malone all those scents are wonderful i was thinking about just like taking all them down and talking about them but i was like no that would take forever i love like all of the joe malone scents that i have ever smelled but there is one fragrance that i purchased when i was in store once it really just caught me off guard and i love it it's very very different but it smells like coca-cola this is the and i'm not sure if this is the full name but it's the bad boys are no good but good boys are no fun i think it's just boys actually and it's from killian and i actually have some killian products in my cart but this smells like coke and i love it i i just i love coca-cola i don't drink it anymore but i absolutely love it and the smell of it is like no other oh my god i love it so much and there are some other notes in here like a little bit more of like a woody kind of musky note is in here as well but you really smell like the coca-cola and it doesn't i don't know it doesn't smell like cheap or cheesy i guess the way if someone told me to buy perfume that smell like coca-cola that's what i would immediately think of that it was kind of cheap and cheesy but this smells i don't know i just think it smells really good so i wanted to recommend this killian perfume and this is something that i've talked about in my favorites and i've shown in my vlogs and wow it's actually kind of dirty right now but this ghd rise hair tool i love this hair tool i have gone through so many different hair tools and the one that i used before this which was the t3 like it has the barrels that you can um take off and replace and i had like the biggest barrel on there i think like one and a half with the hair clip so it was like a curling iron not a wand and i was using that to curl my hair and it was fine but it just gave my hair no matter how like quickly i ran it through it just gave my hair like these ringlet curls which i jus i just don't like i like curls that are a little bit more like wave like a little bit more piecey looking a little bit you know less like ringlet bouncy kind of curls and this one gives it to me it's a very simple tool it just has an on off button it heats up super duper fast and then i just wrap my hair around the barrel and i just brush it through and it gives me these waves i used it today so it just gives me like something just a little bit more natural than those ringlets and it's like what i had been looking for this whole time and i just kind of settled this is actually relatively new i really don't know what it is about the design of this i guess maybe it's the teeth of the product that kind of keeps the hair from getting too like curly but it's just great it's exactly what i was looking for so i highly recommend this if you have the same feeling about curls in your hair like i do where i want them to be waves and not necessarily curls you will really enjoy this and then the last thing i want to mention and i thought this could be a really good like holiday gift everything else i've mentioned has been for yourself but i thought this would make a really nice gift so i really wanted to kind of smell the fragrance and get a sense of it before i actually recommended it to you guys but this is the meson louis marie luxury gift set and all of their fragrances are numbered this is number four and it's the bua de balencourt i don't know if i'm pronouncing that correctly but it comes with a perfume perfume oil and a candle i haven't even burned the candle yet but i've been playing with the perfume oil because i don't usually get perfumes in an oil and so i've just been curious about it and it's one of those really interesting scents that is light but really kind of warm all the same time i feel like whenever i come across like light scents they're usually um like fruity or like a light floral and they're just really really bright this is light but there's like a warmth to it and i'm on the sephora site it says that it is um a warm woods scent type the keynotes are sandalwood vetiver i think i smell the vetiver the most and amber wood i don't think it actually smells quite as heavy as it sounds like it like i said it smells it smells kind of light but i also felt like um it's very kind of like unisex and i think it'd actually be great as a candle but anyway i thought this would make a really nice set because i feel like the fragrance is pretty light it's pretty unisex and then there's like a variety of goods in here and it just looks really beautiful so all of this slides out like a drawer and it's just yeah it's just really beautiful it's well packaged the labeling is like very minimal i just think it's really like elegant looking all right so those are all of my recommendations let's go ahead and move into what is in my cart and i am not even done filling this up so generally i'm either like stocking up on stuff uh stuff that i know i'm gonna re-buy and re-buy and re-buy and i just stock up on those things or i buy things that are very expensive so you want like a discount on them or i take the opportunity and get a bunch of stuff that i've never tried before brands that maybe i've never tried before that i've just been kind of curious about so this cart is like a little mixture of all of that but i do have quite a bit of hair care products in here from verb so i tried verb like years ago i got like a little sample and i remember taking it on a trip with me because it was a little travel size and i really enjoyed it and i of course i was on a trip so i used it up i threw away the bottle and i just couldn't remember what it was and every time i go in store and i see a verb like display i sit there and i look and i'm like i don't think it was ghost i feel like i would remember that name and i just can't remember what it is anyway i thought i would try their sea texture shampoo and conditioner and then i thought i would also try their volume shampoo and conditioner both types of products can work well for my hair as you guys know i love the orbe shampoo and conditioners the volume one especially so it's gonna take something pretty magnificent to tear me away from orbe but i thought i would give these a shot i've really been tempted by it so i threw them in my cart why not the other hair care product from verb that i thought i would try is their dry shampoo for dark hair now you guys know i am a szechuan dark dry powder shampoo fiend i have gone through bottle after bottle it is the one and only dry shampoo that i have ever gotten along with the the texture is not right or the formula um kind of bothers my scalp or i don't like the fragrance or looks too powdery i have tried so many dry shampoos and i've been using the szechuan exclusively for a very long time but when i was kind of putting in all the shampoo and conditioners in my cart this verb dry shampoo for dark hair kind of caught my attention so i'm gonna give it a shot we're gonna see what happens just like the orbee shampoo and conditioner just like my szechuan dry shampoo it's gonna take something really really stellar to tear me away from it so we'll see we'll see what happens i also have um three perfumes in here i'm definitely going to be whittling this down but i do want to try the tom ford bitter peach i really like peach and apricot scents and i actually mentioned this in a will i buy and i asked you guys if any of you have tried it what your thoughts are and so many of you replied telling me that you thought it was really unique like there's obviously a very peachy kind of apricot scent but there's a lot of other stuff going on too and by all of your descriptions i've really become very intrigued by it so that is in my cart we'll see we'll see if i pull the trigger um and then the two other scents that i have in here are from killian i do love this boy's coca-cola perfume um but they just came out with a new collection called the liqueur collection so killian is a descendant of the hennessy family which is the hennes the cognac the french cognac family um and so you know i don't know why it took so long to come out with a collection kind of inspired by his family's kind of history in the liqueur business but here we are we have this liqueur collection and sephora has two of them i don't know if that's all that is in this liqueur collection but this roses on ice eau de parfum is what caught my eye and this is a kind of fresh floral scent by its description the keynotes are cucumber rose juniper and sandalwood all of those things sound good to me and this actual bottle it looks like a cognac glass it looks like that cut crystal kind of bar wear that is so fancy i'm always afraid to use but that is what the packaging looks like and it's it's just it's really pretty so i really want to try that and then there is another killian um scent called intoxicated so this is uh warm and spicy and the keynotes are cardamom mocha coffee and vanilla now you guys know i am like a coffee fiend if it wasn't bad for me to just drink coffee all day every day i would i have to like really reel myself in to just have two or three cups so i love coffee i love the smell of coffee i've talked about this before i have like some coffee candles i have like coffee scrub in the bath my favorite lip scrub is from frank body it is a coffee lip scrub so when i saw this description i was like i i have to try it i have to try so this perfume is probably staying in my cart for sure i think it's the other two that i'm kind of i'm not so sure about so anyway um that is in my cart oh and then i have an eyeshadow palette in here so i watch tara babies here on uh youtube she's one of my favorite youtubers and she talks about how much she likes this clean beauty brand it's ether beauty i think that's how you pronounce it um but they have a bunch of eyeshadow palettes and they actually have one that's on sale but this one actually caught my eye and just looks a little bit more like my style but it's called the rose quartz crystal gemstone eyeshadow palette it looks like it has very neutral tones it looks like there's a nice kind of balance between shimmers and mattes so i thought i would give it a shot tar babies never steers me wrong so if she likes something i'm pretty sure i'm gonna like it too and this brand actually caught my eye because they have a whole line of like skincare products for people who suffer from eczema which i do my face has been okay but i still get little eczema patches on my body and so i thought i would try this skin fix that's the brand um the product is eczema plus foaming oil body wash that sounds really really good to me it's an ultra mild sulfate free body cleanser for dry sensitive and eczema prone skin and on sephora skin fix also has like a little eczema kind of set and i wanted to put that into my cart but that's out of stock so i don't know if that's new and like kind of coming into stock or if they just need to restock it but if they do restock that during the sale i do want to pick that up because they have like a body bomb they have hand cream i do get really really dry hands especially in the winter time so i definitely wanted to try that out and oh oh my gosh i forgot i had i had another perfume in here wow um this is from heretic and this is the dirty grapefruit eau de parfum travel spray so i did find one that was actually a smaller size and i love citrus scents that is my absolute favorite and so this is a fresh citrus and fruits scent type and the keynotes are pink grapefruit rose and tea i was like how how could i not like that so the brand is heretic which i've never tried before if you guys have please let me know your thoughts and the name of this perfume is dirty grapefruit so i thought i would give that a shot so that is what is in my cart at the moment i'm sure a lot of editing is going to happen i'm sure a lot of additions are going to happen but i will definitely do a haul video once i get everything in but i'm really excited
