good morning you guys and welcome back to our grand adventure of traveling to 48 states in 48 days and hiding a bag of the best coffee in the world in each state today's day 17 we're waking up in our 22nd state which is Utah and we just so happen to be waking up this morning at Trent and Alley's house the last time that we parted ways with Trent and Alley Kaye and I we didn't really know too much about coffee I mean we made some coffee we brewed a little bit of a pourover but we didn't really know what we were doing since then we've Dove deep into the coffee industry started our own coffee business sourcing just specialty coffees from some of the best farms around the world and I couldn't be more excited to share all the things that we've learned with these guys oh and also just Brew them some of the best coffee that they've ever tried in their life like hands down this is going to be a blast this morning CH the freaking Window Guys oh is that who they who those guys are can you help me yeah are we moving to Windows there's like 30 windows in that truck and it's a tailgate service only so they pulled up and they're like you got something to get these out they're pretty big they're like H and we told all of our workers to show up at 10: like do I like hang out this morning like oh just coffee can wait sorry no no it's all good look at me sweetie I know they don't have these in Panama [Music] honey nothing I'd rather be doing out here right now than look at me I'm making I'm making coffee now I got two cameras the coffee show I feel like the I feel like the tables have have changed you guys used to make me coffee every morning and you guys let's go so it's super delicate super floral doesn't taste like a traditional coffee it smells like bouquet of flowers it'll taste more like tea wow it's like no bitterness it's very different yeah it's very different it's crazy that like that's coffee one of the best things about doing this trip is being able to see all the people that we haven't seen in so long and these guys were two of the people that we were definitely the most excited to see but one of the hardest things is we only have like 24 hours with everyone or in this case even less and like we want to like hang out for a while I feel like we were just getting started like we since we've gotten here we just having stuff talking it's like all right we have 4 years of life to catch you up on and go and that's just what been like the whole time but we got to keep this train moving we got to keep the train moving honey we got to get back to Wyoming we do so this is the time we're going to say goodbye you guys you guys we love you you guys are the best so much thank you for you so amazing it was so good to see you love you bye you guys are crushing it going see you we'll see you soon next time we see you you're going to be a lot bigger no yeah you will be stie will be bigger too and she'll have some new toys to play to share with you yeah bye bye bye guys we love you safe travels thank you bye bye guys here we are honey back on the road just the three of us again just the three of us again where do you want to go now I should probably head to [Music] Wyoming so we're actually making a little bit of a pit stop to Wyoming on our way to Idaho because when we first originally drove through Wyoming we were driving through Yellowstone National Park and we didn't think it would be that kosher to hide the coffee in the actual National Park so we are here in Evanston Wyoming right now we just saw a little park on the side of the road we're going to let Sade air it out for a good 30 minutes before we hit the road again and we're going to find a spot to hide this coffee this place is called Bear River Pond and I think you can understand why if you look into the sidewalks here all along this sidewalk is bear prints must have been from when they poured it a bear must have been walking around all right Wyoming if you come to Evon and you go to the Bear River Park and you walk along the path you find the push-up bar and you look in the Tall Grass just past the push-up bar you'll find a metal box inside that metal box you'll find a bag of the rarest coffee in the whole world so good luck Wyoming we're excited for you guys to try it two three honey we got another stream it's our brothers that backtrack to Wyoming added about 2 hours of driving on but I know there's probably not a ton of you guys from Wyoming that watch this channel but I know there's some of you and we didn't want to forget about you guys so we're committed to hiding a bag of this coffee in every single state so we got through Wyoming we were only there for a little bit and then started heading Northwest and drove back into Utah and then finally into Idaho Idaho is the destination of our camp spot for tonight but we don't have a camp spot picked out yet so we're just going to be driving along this highway for as long as we can kind of all take it that's been been what a lot of this journey is is how much can we drive for how much progress can we make how much can we get done until basically one of us is just like yeah I can't handle this anymore and you'd think that it might be Saad but usually more often than not to me are those your feet is that your Shadow when people talk about the west side of the United States and just how magnificent and Grand and just drastic Everything is Everything is just so much bigger and wider the mountains are so much taller it really is true like I feel like the last couple days since driving through Wyoming Utah Idaho now we haven't even really been listening to any music or really any podcasts or really doing much of anything else other than just looking out the window because it is just truly jaw-dropping all of these views that we've been seeing the last couple days Jordan and I have also been like half joking but half not kind of scoping out other areas of where we want to do The Roastery 2.0 if we ever wanted to expand and open up another location of a Roastery up in Vermont we've been keeping our eyes open on some spots out here in the west H I think Montana is just too far I know you know like we were really like when we got to Boseman we were like oh my gosh like the vibe here the views the people like it it it reminded us a lot about Vermont that could maybe we open up the rad stre 2.0 in New York City maybe New York City what been on top of my mind since we've been to Brooklyn it would fit in very well there that's for [Music] sure oh sitting in their car all day it's definitely taking a toll on my body if you guys are curious how much we've driven so far it's been 4,200 mi in terms of the number of states and where we're at and like where our plan is and where we need to be we're kind of right there so if you're wondering why do we got to do this whole trip in 48 days well that's when our flight out of here is our flight outs on November 20th we booked these flights before we even had this whole idea we try to book them as far in advance as we can so we had this tight little window of like 50 days and we're like hey when we try to DED All 48 states in that time and that's kind of where this whole thing came to be an idea we're just getting off the highway now we're 15 minutes from the campsite we found someone's property that we can park at uh we're just going to be on a someone's farm and I'm pretty excited for that because that means it's going to be quiet that means we're not going to have truckers all around us and that's when we usually get the best night sleeps this is just someone's house in a neighborhood straight back keep coming goodby coming keep coming more little bit more stop okay we made it to our home for the night let's see how fast we can get this thing all set up now one thing I definitely missed about the bus is just being able to park and then basically you're just in for the night but with this it takes a little bit of effort [Music] does that feel level yeah good okay you don't have to take the trailer off the truck every night but I like to do it every once in a while basically every other day I don't know if this is necessary but I like to give everything a little rest and I also like to get that trailer like perfectly level just sleep a little bit better that way careful for being a rolly pooli okay yeah while you're out there can you turn the propane on yeah hey what are you doing hello so this spot is actually so so beautiful it's so quiet we're in the middle of Farmland Idaho the only thing is there's kind of a little bit of a stench out there but it's actually a little bit warm out tonight so I think we're going to want to keep the windows open kind of let nice little breeze in a little bit of a stinky Breeze but nothing that a little candle can't fix I had three so Trent just texted me he said that where our car was parked underneath is a massive puddle of oil oh my god did you check it's super hard to see it's like too dark out I mean what could it be an oil leak somewhere or you might be playing mechanic tomorrow I mean with an oil leak I can't like I think that's that might be out of my realm of what I can fix tomorrow might be the day that makes it so we can't finish this challenge we're doing 40 States in 48 days if we have to post up and wait for it a part and wait for it to get fixed so tomorrow we're going to do a little bit of Investigation we'll bring you guys along for that investigation see if we can find any leaks see what's going on with the truck just make sure everything's okay so we can keep driving safely but that's all we got for this one thank you guys for following along got another big adventure for tomorrow hopefully maybe we'll see you guys [Music] tomorrow he
