you so much for being here i really mean that as a new channel literally every time i get a notification of a new subscriber i just am so happy so thank you so much for being here and um subscribing and supporting me and interacting it's i keep saying this but it's been so fun so tonight i am so excited to watch saving private ryan excited and nervous i would say not nervous but trying to mentally prepare i don't know a ton about this movie other than people keep telling me like it's really heavy um as you know i watched 1917 for the first time and that was super emotional um so i expect the same with this i know tom hanks is in it i know it's a war movie that is about it but this was the poll winner on my poll and so i'm excited to watch it and it's a long one but i think it will be good so let's get started wow that's a lot of graves oh he's already so emotional my gosh does this already mean it's not a happy ending there he is that would be me oh my gosh i can't even fathom hey that guy from green mile oh that was twist are you hitting me i got right into that oh my gosh okay okay how can they possibly get out of this my heavens it's so like shaky i i guess that's probably on purpose to just feel chaotic oh okay just saw someone's leg be blown off oh my gosh he looks so young that little guy yeah i have a feeling this is gonna be a very long three hours very tense holy crap this is like the most intense movie scene i have ever seen and gruesome i this is hard to watch and we are 12 minutes in ho so loud you are sir it's your party we got the force back there with wade how do they get out of this i you can just hear people screaming holy crap what is happening i feel like this is all just helpless like any medical like what are they gonna do so helpless what's that i am like like i feel like every muscle in my body is just tightened [Applause] oh my gosh is there a plan i can't tell who's who or where anyone is they're surrendering those people again dog one is open diesel does he have like a tremor is it just i imagine it's just the adrenaline oh my gosh oh my gosh the water is red no oh i thought those were like the wives and mothers they were about to go tell me this is just the untimely death of your son they are writing their letters what i can finally breathe for a second that was i really don't even know what to say i that was just so the three men are brother sir i've just learned that this afternoon their mother's going to be getting all three telegrams that's not all there's a fourth brother the youngest he's somewhere in normandy we don't know where is he alive we don't know three out of four brothers oh my gosh it's gonna be the worst day of that mother's life oh no she knows i can't imagine contact with the fourth son james oh my gosh now assuming private ryan even survived the jump private ryan they're gonna be kia too that's kia killed in action war is horrific the boy's alive we are gonna send somebody to find him and we are going to get him the hell out of there [Music] okay so he's gonna it's gonna take a squad to go save the fourth brother i understand you speak french in german yes sir very good you've been reassigning me grab your gear oh i already love him so after all that they did take the beach back when he said 35 dead before i mean it looked like hundreds that must he must have been talking about something else so is this his squad you haven't [ __ ] touched me with those little rat claws again the [ __ ] back in formation be nice to him okay hey drop dead corporal gotcha i mean where's the sense of risking the lives of the eight of us to save one guy think about the poor bastard's mother even if you think the mission's food buster especially if you think the mission is what's fooba what is john park i am so scared for them oh okay are they gonna tell us more about their families like does the captain have kids and a wife it's pouring rain where are they gonna sleep oh i'm not ready for another battle this is a village ryan james riot he dropped in with 101st five minutes determined now this seems like so unorganized but more so than in 1917 oh here we go oh the rain just makes everything worse you stay with talking horrible how can they just be talking about normal things in this situation [Music] [Music] oh my gosh i don't think you guys warned was the last time you feel good about anything come on guys be brave like the captain who's going left you're scared i don't really understand what's happening but i'm very nervous they're trying to take out a machine they're just running they're hiding behind dead cows oh my gosh that makes me a tiny bit nauseous what happened there guys make it there you go he was the medic he was so brave this just sucks sir sorry you're gonna let them kill him this is not right what is happening i cannot believe the intensity of this movie oh he's breaking down he didn't want to do it in front of his guys he's trying to be so quiet please i like america oh my gosh i say can you see i say can you see this this is so sad he surrendered sir tell him to march a thousand paces in that direction he's a pow arriving can't take him with us oh my gosh it's horrific but that's the right thing that was a very very tough call for him you shoot me over ryan no i'm going to shoot you because i don't like you sir are you letting this happen is he letting this happen well put your money where your mouth is it'll go away what's happening what's the pull on me up to right now 300 is that it 300 i'm a school teacher i teach english composition he's a school teacher as coach the baseball team in the springtime i don't know anything about ryan i don't care man means nothing to me but he means something to someone finding him so he can go home if that earns me the right to get back to my wife well then that's my mission he's staying good man cover oh no oh no oh no no couldn't they just give us a nice america's sweethearts your brothers were killed in combat which which ones which ones all of them came all the way out here to tell me that our orders are to bring you back but your party's over here sir i can't leave until at least reinforcements you got three minutes two of our guys already died trying to find you all right what were their names erwin wade and adrian caparzo why why why do i deserve to go is that what they're supposed to tell your mother when they send her another folded american flag i was here and i was with the only brothers that i have left and there's no way i was going to desert them what do they do they get it the only brothers he has left oh my gosh i hate everything part of me thinks the kid's right he wants to stay here fine let's leave him go home but another part of me thinks what if by some miracle we stay and actually make it out of here someday we might look back on this and decide that saving private ryan was the one decent thing we were able to pull out of this whole god-awful shitty mess so they're going to stay with and protect the bridge as well and then make it out of there hit them harder we can one on one and fall back to the bridge jackson if we can i could get you up in that bell tower okay they're making a plan we could hit the tank in the tracks yeah but with what we could try a sticky bomb i feel like it's a happy moment so they're gonna start getting shot at very soon so they want the bridge to stay standing right why do they have it wired with explosives they're giving up their socks for the bomb so they're setting a trap for a tank where am i doing all this never more than two feet away from me that's not negotiated you all right he looks unnatural for him to smoke i said no thank you i don't smoke oh that's funny [ __ ] up beyond all recognition they're being nice to him now [Music] so now they wait [Music] and she's easily like a uh a 44 double these things are massive really tight no no it's beautiful and she sees me i want to think of home i i think it's something specific i think of my my hammock in the backyard my wife pruning the rose bushes and a pair of my old work gloves without alice jordy picture a girl who just took a nose dive from the ugly tree and hit every branch coming down tell me about your wife and those rose bushes no you know that one i saved just for me it's happening please work he sees tiger tanks two of them hands are tanks two of them infantry 50 plus change is that a lot dispersed you know what to do oh my gosh does that mean they're super outnumbered awesome hustle up oh welcome oh those are very scary pink sounding noises coming come on the underdogs so you gotta win oh no on the infantry captain i don't know if they took the bait though what was he trying to do what is infiltrate i i'm a little unclear on the plan dancers didn't take the bait didn't come down the right street doesn't it all depend on them coming down that street they're very close oh my gosh i'm sweating i don't know what's happening well that's just the cake coming these are the sticky bombs oh my gosh oh my gosh it's so close [Music] how was that oh my gosh did the sticky bomb plant not work then oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh there they got the bomb won't miss don't miss take cover take cover [Music] [Music] [Applause] he's very graphic oh no no god grab me straight oh my gosh he's very good at that my high tower and my deliverer i am like so tense oh i've got a headache oh no no no please now he was my favorite how do they even know where they're shooting at them you can do it please please please please oh my gosh oh my gosh help him please don't be a bum please please please i hate this i hate this oh my gosh oh my gosh [Applause] where's epham [Music] that's a good guy right that's our guy rocket launcher oh my gosh this is hard to watch oh my gosh i thought he was gonna get in time oh my gosh i can't this is this is bad this is very bad the sniper's dead fish is dead this does not even seem close to over [Music] i thought they were doing so good oh my gosh who is that why is he not moving ryan are they lost everyone is dead that's the guy they let free did he really die the captain are you freaking kidding me are you kidding me this is the worst movie in the world now the backups come they're tank busters sir p-50 once on our shoulders please make it where is his medical attention no the fact that it was the guy he let go pray that our heavenly father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement it was him every day i think about what you said to me that day on the bridge i hope that at least in your eyes i've earned what all of you have done for me they saved private ryan and he left good life okay i just finished the movie i should probably let it all sink in before i give my take but i'm not going to that was probably the most intense graphic movie i've ever seen i've told you before that i only watched movies with happy endings that was not a happy end i mean it was but i really like i really didn't think they were gonna kill the captain that he was gonna die and there was just like so many little coincidences that made it like that much more heart-wrenching like that the guy let that lay they let go was the one who killed him or the backup was like five minutes late or up him just had to walk up the stairs and he could have saved fish oh it was so sad it was like a third of the way through i'm thinking i mean three quarters of the way through i'm thinking this is amazing like this is one of the best movies i've ever seen like the way they made it feel so real and raw and you become attached to the guys so quickly but then they just kill everybody breaks your heart but that's the realness of war too i guess well it was very heavy very intense i feel like i've gotten some comments that i like that you're not like overdramatic that was dramatic but that was real because that was seriously insanely intense and just they did not hide away from showing anything so i feel like the acting was unbelievable the movie was amazing but so heart-wrenching okay that is my take on saving private ryan i hope you made it this far with me and let's um have a happy one next maybe okay don't forget to um like and comment and subscribe and thank you again for being here good [Music]
