Save Router or switch configuration via Putty

in this video I'm going to show you how to save your router configuration via poty at the moment I am running gns 3 and poty uh party I'm going to run partty in my Windows 7 virtual machine so I'm going to make a tet connection to my uh router if you're using console VI party you don't have to do this okay uh I'm since I'm using super party I'm going to show you in how this is working in a party uh software okay so first thing I'm going to do I'm going to change that name to root one o root one okay but make sure you leave do log okay then take that book all session output and make sure you put always a PIN to the end of it so I would start my login soon as I need you know I need my I don't know configuration or you can start from the beginning you know uh beginning of your console connection right so let's say okay and going to session I'm making 10et session with my router now okay so let okay password okay now if I type show IP route you can see uh my IP route you know it's just one route anyway in there if I type showrun interface e0 yeah you can see interface 0 0 and show run okay and show IP interface brief okay let's see what we what we have let's do another one show uh I don't know show uh show again no show IP rout again okay right so if I go there and open the root log look my root log has everything in it the First Command we use is show I root okay if you to make make your uh configuration look good make sure you type the full command and um I can see show running some here actually I put uh show running interface ethernet okay 0 it's there and show run command okay uh and you can if you if you want a big gap between you know the commands just keep press enter on your console and type show IP rout then I think I I type the show run command in there okay not show IP route okay um you can see show run in there because I type showrun then I delete it but party actually keep that in in the log and then I put show IP roote um so there you go okay hope this is helpful um and um any question just comment on the below um thanks for watching my video thank you
