Santa Lucia Pizza Mukbang & Reminiscing

yesterday there was sun and there was rain Beauty in the M hello welcome back to life my wife we thought we would do a mukbang because we're trying uh not a new restaurant but a new to us restaurant and we haven't done one of these for a while so okay so the name is Santa Lu Lucia Pizza just the name those are the wings this is kind of what the box looks like that'll be the bread sticks I can tell by the weight that is the pizza wow right in here wow now Pizza is expensive so mhm um yeah but this is 10 in and you get six slices six slices so I mean yeah buddy come on it's not for you so we got the a combo was a pound of wings and the pizza and then we ordered the mozzarella bread right mhm so yeah kind of wings are they is that honey garlic it's not honey garlic is it hot no it's mild that's not honey garlic and I ordered honey garlic well they oops already Yes uh you did [Music] well I don't know how many other Wings I'll eat okay let's give it a try give it a try it's like a buffalo you may or may not I guess she doesn't like them well you get the bread sticks I like Buffalo oh those are horrible no they not oh you anti-chicken Wing lover all right so here's the pizza big chunks of bacon and ham and pepperoni I bet he had two orders in his car probably he probably grabbed the wrong ones good y all right let's try the mozzarella bread looks tasty mhm I'm just looking forward to Wings they're the small ones though yeah they're not like reded they still have the skin on them but not well phone and complain tell them about the wrong wings where's the bill right we'll be right back we're going to call right now while it's fresh all right mystery solved and they were apologetic they're just really busy which I've heard that so when I called uh you know I just explained to her we got the wrong one she asked for the address and then she come back she goes um let me guess you got like hot or medium I said Yes actually did they're sending out a new order of honey garlic but they said they told us to keep these ones I'm fine with I like cuz they're more like a buffalo pot so they're not like real spicy you K they burnt my mouth just licking them I don't know and I and I don't like real spicy stuff excuse me but the pizza is actually good like they pile on the toppings they do and they don't skimp on the cheese they don't skimp on anything I typically like thin crust and Kevin said can we try the regular today and I said yeah but but it's not real this is only my second piece and I don't know that I'm going to get it down would you look at the crust it's not really thick M it's good and I love their bacon mhm it's not little crumbles of bacon it's actual strip bacon and it's not the cheap restaurant strip bacon like it's decent bacon yeah just show them in piece yeah look at that now it's got a little bit of grease from the cheese but not like soften in it m no these off camera just watching every bite he's mad cuz you can't have chicken just reminds me a little bit tomases in ch I don't remember theirs I mean I remember having it but I don't remember yeah flavor cuz it's been years but I definitely know for us to order pizza from there a 10 in is perfect perfect for us mhm cuz I just don't don't eat pizza the way I used to cuz I can't I have to be very cautious now speaking of which I'll be back she I'm picking up my pizza cuz I can't eat it all but so we have been not we me we but meaning me Hannah and country girl have been busy this week with wedding stuff and we think we've got it down exactly what we want let say I haven't been busy with wedding stuff I'm just showing up and forking out the money no so I did that last week I did that sample of centerpiece and we figured out how we're changing it and all that stuff and yeah and then oh I didn't I should show you these so Dawn showed me Dawn is country girl Don is her girl name Country Girl was the channel name um Don showed me now she on American Amazon it's 24 of the these um battery candles and yeah they were like I don't know 14 bucks or something for 24 so me she asked if Hannah would like them well then Hannah got back to me today and said oh they're cute so Dom was going to order her some and then she said why don't I just bring mine cuz she ordered them for herself goes why don't I just bring mine and Hannah can use them and then I'll take them home because otherwise Hannah's got to worry about selling all that stuff off and yeah so works for us mhm yeah so I got some weight to it oh yeah and Hannah um I to and Hannah was talking about selling the the decor pieces that I make and stuff and she goes well you can take it home and sell it and I said well you know what instead of she goes I'm not gonna sell it you paid for it I'm not taking money and then so I said to her well you sell it rather than me shipping it all the way back here just to sell it going say I'm not piling it back in the car exactly I said just sell it on that end yeah yeah so so that's what we're doing well I got one and 1/2 pieces now and two small pieces of the bread the bread's good though I'll eat more of that I won't not right now though cuz I want to wait for the wings it's kind of good flavor I like it mhm but I do want to do thin crust next time mhm if we get it from there next time next time we get it from there I mean not the next time we get pizza didn't say that broy your daddy's goofball he's eating sugar snap peas to keep them quiet yeah cuz he was so mad that Kevin wouldn't give him the chicken wings oh he's a funny dude funny quarter after three right there looking for you yeah mhm well he was at the back door when I pulled in yep yep you were looking for Daddy weren't you yeah see mommy said come on we got to go upstairs and have a bath and I was like oh no no no and I said no mommy has to have a bath and you said okay it's cold out it's been snowing all day mhm what's the date today April 19th and it's snowing it should be the last day yeah not enough like it's not staying so we're still at minus two yeah which is I don't know can I change yes I can 29° Fahrenheit y okay it's a chili on the bomb isn't it yeah tomorrow is supposed to be 10:00 yeah and 13 11 oh my gosh I can't wait for some sun oh all week it's been so rainy and Gloom I done all last week except for Friday and somebody's going away again this is the first time you've been back since we lived there isn't it nope been there once I don't remember 2001 February 2001 when I went on exercise out to debert Nova Scotia we flew into bag of bille to pick people up and then drop so our first posting in the military was to Northern Quebec to a base called bagotville and the if you want to reference it and Google it it's the closest city is called jaami wow that's close to city but it's right by La yeah we we lived in a little town called LA and um beautiful area beautiful area but not English friendly at all not as bad now do you know that might restaurant is still there yeah I Googled it y I knew it was I've heard cuz I've talked to people who live there and I've talked about that yeah mhm and I looked and they still have the same sarin yeah sub sandwich yeah yeah do you remember our waitress's name there I cannot remember her name gain yeah her husband was military yeah yeah there was one waitress that spoke English although she didn't let us get away with only speaking English to her no but she was very helpful yeah yeah piggy piggy no you cannot have these so yeah it it was a rough we only spent one year there and it it was a rough year but oh beautiful like would I go up again just to tour and stuff yes to live there no it was it was rough yeah like the only English movie theater was on the base mhm and like it wasn't so bad going grocery shopping because the cashier would ask you if you wanted P papier or plastic paper plastic bag yeah that was really the only thing that we really had to say so that wasn't so bad going to the bank forget it but I think the roughest thing was when I got there I went to imply for my unemployment and when you walked in the government building there was the sign that said FR and not one person in the building spoke English yep and they had to send my files away to get them done which they shouldn't have because it was a federal yeah Federal Building yeah but it was it was a rough year but that was a long time ago 33 34 years something I don't even know I've lost count be just under 34 because of 35 years in this yeah August and it was a whole year I spent almost pretty well in Kingston yeah so it was 1990 yeah so oh I think it was February 91 or January 91 that you yes yeah sorry so 33 years yeah so it was yeah it was yeah you went in January and then I went in after Christmas in ' 91 yeah yeah yep and then we got sent to Trenton for 14 and half long years mhm first half great second half couldn't wait to leave it's just not a town that I wanted to send my kids to high school in that was the problem yeah and we left there when Britney was going in grade eight mhm so it worked out perfect you should see Bry he's got one paw on the C on the table just just on the edge like this and he's looking at daddy like this mhm and school that the kids went to in King well that Britney went to in in Kingston in Hannah Kingston was right downtown oh yeah it was an inner city school yeah cement playground yep she know didn't cuz she didn't want to go French verion so she went one year on the base that then two years out at in Greenwood Park yeah I forget the name of that school it was another it was the it was English Catholic I don't remember the name of it well so we moved to Kingston and no issues getting Britney and Hannah into the school no none because we're actually still in the same school um School Division division yeah right when we went to try and get Janelle in to the to English school or English English Catholic schol they they said no and we're like but you can't because we're already in the school division yeah and but it was that principle cuz the next year well it was it was that principal but we still went the school board went no we're in the school Division I would get it if we were coming from outside yeah but they um the next year it was a new principal and he was like well and not just that cuz there was somebody else we knew there was somebody I met or Kelly we aren't Catholic yeah so the reason our kids went to Catholic school was because in Trenton the only French immersion was at the Catholic system yeah that's that's why but it was Kelly meant somebody or I meant one of us and and they actually I think work for the school but I can't anyway and then they went yeah that's not right no and then we found out that it was that one principal it was just the one principal he was just yeah yeah so yep but it was interesting with school downtown never had problem with parking though I always got parking right in front of the school yeah now the the thing that Britney found hard was the school that she went to in Tren yeah was just a couple blocks from the Arby's and in grade seven with a note from a parent they were allowed to go off campus and go for lunch yeah so then when we got to Kingston um I wrote her a letter saying cuz there was a grocery store literally across the street and you know you could get food and stuff there and I and so I wrote a note and said you know please excuse Britney at lunch hour she going to go and get her lunch and they were like no we don't do that no we don't do that here so but what they did let was the um custodian took her to get her some lunch because she didn't have a lunch oh yes CU we didn't yeah that's right cuz we didn't know yeah yeah we had no clue but yeah I guess we should and Kingston is a bigger city so well and that's the thing we went from from 50,000 to I don't even know close to 200 or something like it you know so I mean it is what it is yeah well and it's not that it's just that it's not that downtown Kingson is horrible or nothing but um there's a lot of homelessness there and yeah you got to look after the safety kids yep yeah we weren't upset about it like we understood and they were nice enough to know like he that Britney didn't have a lunch so we will send her over with an adult so in 2017 so I don't have the current the population was 136,50 yeah so almost triple the size of what we came from yeah yeah and unfortunately when you get as you get bigger cities you get bigger and more problems so yeah yeah so and man Britney graduated and went to uh region off region yeah yeah the regi was kind of short but it was the French Catholic school cuz she stayed in uh French immersion she finished grade 10 in French ersion and then yeah grade 11 and 12 she went to English and that was that was two years there I can't remember did we get her uniforms used or we had to buy them new I can't remember cuz I remember in North Bay driving to Sudbury cuz it was the only company but then I found that one thrift store yes on castles that had that had some yes yeah I'm trying to remember where we got our uniform in keep I don't remember no I think there was we went by there was a place I she with Britney we're like she didn't like skirts so she did have one kill she did have one kill not skirt but it killed but she preferred the pants mhm and the shorts yeah yep and we are reminiscing down memory L they were burgundy and Bee mhm from what I can remember and in North Bay they were Navy green gray no they were green gray and yellow yeah yeah why are we going down memory lane I don't know I don't know how we ended up went from eating new pizza place to us to uh to to memory well you know I guess because you know the last kids getting married mhm kind of Full Circle mhm yep yep crazy how time flies cuz it's funny you know like Kevin and I'll be sitting here talking or whatever and all of a sudden I'll think holy cow we were 15 when we met and now we're grandparents yep yeah we've been grandparents for a long time though too we were like 41 I think when Lloyd was born he what is he yeah he'll be 13 this year 13 this year yeah yeah so and I was FaceTiming with I'll be right back all right wings are here Kell they didn't take very long either Kelly's wings are here would you grab me a fork since they're so hot they are steon oh I can smell the honey garlic it's soing broy yeah oh yeah that's what you call good Wings let kiss me mister yours are over there I still want to try honey garlic thank you not sure if it's told me it or not it's always hard to tell sometimes I know these are literally they came out put them in and in the car mhm yep although this place isn't far away from us either I just I had an idea but can't that's scary I know all right I think that'll be it for the night yeah cuz we actually been on for Buddy ser seriously you cannot have it stop stop no hey all your friends think that you're such a good boy this is what we get when she spoils him all the [Music] time Daddy's the C it's funny even the other night when we had pork he was up doing this because pork actually kind of tastes like chicken like and it smells like it too and every time you have any kind of pork he thinks it's chicken he never does this with any other meat that we're eat
