Sand Change

I said today we're doing a sign change on this lap or on the 24 inch pillow I just need to turn it off basically you need key here and a hammer sound the pump off for now lift key on top there very tight so hammer off [Music] spread up sand and water for quite a big Hoover so this probably won't take too long [Music] feels got about a hundred kilos of sand in I'm gonna take that all out and basically replace it the new filter media five bags of this set up ready to go just crack on straightaway start emptying it [Music] now we start seeing the laterals at the bottom and Phil I got the air pipe here you gotta be really careful here they don't break anything cause I didn't DUP with once you filled it back up you know that was sand coming into your poor carry-on get arrested this out all right so most of the sands out now see all the laterals that things okay in here what I'm gonna do is just get some war and just rinse it out get all of this hand out [Music] all right that's all the sound out you can't take these actuals out they just twist twist in lots of things so you can take them out and check them but I feel we're all good here today so it's basically ready to put a new sound in before putting the new sound in as well you want to cover this this whole up here with something pocket on the plastic bag so I'm going to put that over it and no percent new size so why do is just rest the bag on the edge there get a knife and just cut [Music] do that of all five bags and the lid on just give the fret brush to get any sound that's got stuck in there always grease them up vaseline or petroleum jelly anything should air pipes up [Music] my phone rinse just in case there's any sound did go down the top pipe [Music] [Applause] just a quick rinse [Music] [Applause] [Music] but what really I always do but when you put fresh sound in [Music] [Music] they sound off again rinse ten seconds off again under your boy for the pool work
