Sand Battery Part-8, 550 Degrees F

so this is the element I bought at Home Depot eight inch and this is the bracket brace that held the element and it gives the information 240 volts 2 350 Watts 208 volts 1000 765 Watts wiring up the new element and I wrapped it with small copper wire bare copper wire bottom connection or top connection I guess that would be okay two o'clock in the morning high temperature Silver solder now I'm not going to tell you this is a proper connection but this is the way I'm doing it here it is folks the flux capacitor here's the can without the the heat can inside of it cold out here cold out here a ranger I think I have to clean these okay the flux capacitor is in place overnight I'm actually hot eight o'clock in the morning Frost is still everywhere it's 33 degrees it's working my goodness it's working and we're cleaning all these powders up right now I'm running her hot 850 Watts still I might I wondered if I shouldn't I put my hand on there it's freaking hot already I don't even know how to touch it so I'm going to cover it up with the rest of the sand and we're looking good so far as long as you don't burn out okay it's only nine o'clock 901. and it's already showing fantastic results so this thing is gonna smoke today we're already up to 85 degrees again we're already up to 85 degrees and I added all the sand back in 10 o'clock January 6th running 850 Watts 120 volts DC on the new element it's a 240 volt element okay she's climbing about 140 degrees no 135 probably 11 o'clock update let's see what we got here I haven't looked 215 degrees okay check this out so we're sitting at about 155 degrees way out on this outer edge but watch what happens when I put it in the middle here right down through the middle of that coil approximately I can't I don't really know what the ladle is and I ain't gonna touch that thing look at this I don't even know where it's going to stop I might have to pull it out where's it going 400 450. what's that was that 475 hmm I can hear it popping and stuff hope everything holds up okay looks like it's at 490 5 still climbing now this is right down the middle of that core I might even be touching the coil I don't know there's 500 530 degrees yeah it's still four o'clock I mean it's 10 minutes to four but I can feel the freaking mass amount of heat coming out of here all right look at that I ain't even got it down in the 350 four fifty 475 00 525 30. 35 40. 545 it's maxing out 550 is the max and it's four o'clock but the sun's almost gone bought an indoor outdoor I bought an indoor outdoor thermometer for in here look at this window the Hood's soaking wet so it's a good idea to start with dry sand but you know the bags were also
