San Jose Earthquakes - PayPal Park

we have another first on the channel today we will be touring an MLS soccer stadium PayPal Park located in San Jose California across the street from the airport in home of the San Jose Earthquakes I was also able to see the stadium while it was under construction so I'll be including a couple of those construction photos of the stadium today as well every photo you see today was taken by me don't forget to subscribe the channel and like the video you can write in the comment section what you like about this video and with that let's start the tour this stadium has a unique layout to it if you look at it it technically has two tiers of seating but it's really mostly just one tier of seating with the first level having you know three seats it also has blue seats with patterns you know every seat is chairback seating and I think it's always a great look when they do something like this I mentioned on the previous slide that you know the first tier of seating has three seats the first tier is the club and Suite level you can see from this view where we're on the ground level concore is more less and it almost looks like you're right on the field level but technically there's uh three seats in front of this the seating layout of this Stadium you know puts you really close to the action it actually has some of the steepest seats in all VOR soccer when you walk around the exterior of the stadium you can see the exposed steel framing you know I think it's a great look to it it really shows off the structure which I appreciate on top of having more or less one tier of seating the overall layout of the stadium is pretty basic it has uh basically seating on three sides of the stadium in a rectangular shape the fourth side of the St stadium is open and consists of a large video board and bar which you can see from here the bar area is located underneath the video board which you can see it's actually the largest outdoor bar in North America I don't know how it Stacks compared to the rest of the world but North America is the largest so if you're at this game at this Stadium going to a game I would defin definitely recommend coming and checking out the bar it is hard to avoid the massive sign that says a via Stadium here to clear it up it used to be called a viia stadium before it was changed to PayPal Park so you may have seen some previous photos in this tour that said a viia stadium and that's because that's what it was before the name change so if you hear of a viia stadium it used to be the stadium we discussed the large bar that this stadium has another thing that they have that's really large is the large can levers over the seats this is a great view of that you know I think being in San Jose it's more to probably block out the Sun than the rain but you know it's if you go to like the Washington huskys football stadium it's very similar to something like that this is a view of the stadium when it was still under construction it opened back in 2015 and has a capacity of 18,000 seats on the right side you can see the bar and the large video board under construction and then you can see the seating area they have the structure but they don't have the individual seats in yet this is a view from the back side of the stadium not a lot to see other than again it's showing off the steel framing this is the last construction photo I have for you today looking down one of the concourses and you can see that The Concourse is more or less at field level if you've seen any of my other videos you know that I like to throw in a photo of myself at the stadium shows I was actually there this takes us to the end of the tour again subscribe the channel like the video you can write in the comments section what stadium you want me to do next and until next time take care
