An unfortunate problem with getting a traditional Japanese guy to critique these is that Japanese culture is very evasive about criticism. If you only heard what he said without the scores, you wouldn't really be able to tell which examples were bad and which were good unless you were well versed in Japanese culture and conversation. E.g. whenever he says something "amazing", he usually means "unbelievable".
