molina last time was the best performance of his career and it was certainly a very different kind of performance normally expect that swarming come forward style but he took his time against the leader but left hook there from ski too early on that got eggington's attention and he got in she too was a compensator with her left hook the jab's been started for him as well right onto the gate he clean and then fires chris counters and that's what's working to fill him at the minute edgar's doing what he does best notes turn on front foot trying to work the jab put you under pressure he's not coming with the burst of combinations that are coming back at them [Music] feels i think the negatives open to that left hook to the body as well there with a response [Applause] is solid [Applause] some of those punches bouncing off the gloves at eggington but one or two got through both fighters starting on the front foot here [Applause] [Music] [Applause] 15 fights unbeaten but a big step up in opposition here interesting opening round and a a hard one to score as well welcome right hand good finish to the role but look at this from good lively finish action pack from both fighters i think in the build-up and he felt that eggington would just have that bit too much for an untested frenchman police [Applause] [Applause] aren't they what would you expect from the negative fights it's the fact that has come here to fight in a similar way and had a bit of success there his corner enjoyed that left hook i don't think it's any better [Music] [Applause] again that [Music] [Music] really steps behind it and again that's that little left hook around the ribs [Music] but exactly all successful he had to take a few shots but i think he started the round up really sprightly there sam egerton it's very much nip and tuck isn't it who wants who wants it the most the fact that she too he comes out those crowds the crowd that stands because he gets a bit more explosive shots [Applause] corner [Applause] [Music] terrific amateur career eric thomas for hand injuries got to him he qualified for the seoul olympics and and had to pull out and then only had two professional fights before the hands betrayed him but he's doing incredible work but the boxing club he runs that [ __ ] who trains that link to the football club up in the north of uh paris red star who played for them as a semi-pro he's a fine footballer as well we're showing already he's a pretty good boxer yeah he is but again a bit more success here moving i know we don't we don't credit him for that ever but the fact that he's just moving around the ring a little bit he's not creating a little bit of space means you can get those longer shots off then having some success of his own though the right hand there they wanted from [Applause] really good work this from the frenchman [Music] he holds his feet [Applause] well it's eggington's kind of fight but it just feels like it might be schutzer's kind of fight as well oscar for making again moving the feet away from the target creating that space not taking anything coming back this cheesy looks strong doesn't he he's going to take some diss raiding this frenchman this is better from edington [Music] [Applause] he's used his feet pretty well in this uh third round but just a bit flat-footed there but what he's showing himself and you know what he knows now is that when he does move his feet and he's not a dancer and he gets a bit more distance on his shots he's having the best of it that's good work there from eglinton if you stand with him he's strong that's what he wanted action here towards the end of this turn round and skits unloaded with a right hand didn't miss by much [Music] good little combination there must be both doing excellent work in round three another close one [Music] that's a lovely little combination there from youtube they're really good and against when egging holds his feet that's what he's in danger you see here there nice little combination a little skip back creates a bit of space for himself there so megan lands makes it clear catches nothing back i think that's the formula that he showed in that role that's the formula he needs to maintain [Music] [Music] [Music] he's trying to push him away from his instincts a bit barry but he needs to do that yeah and he's listening over the last few years he has done that a few times he has tried to use his jabby yes he's not he's not he's not a fancy down a three foot inside a box he can box but he's seen with this [ __ ] that he's incredibly tough he's incredibly strong and he's heavy-handed so you stand in front of him even if you're winning it's going to be hard [Applause] and his other brother is uh from the corner cheering him on really tight knit finally [Applause] it's good so far for megan here because the concert changes the direction just meaning that she's too candid can't set himself did there though himself all right there is eggington gets trapped in the corner eye-catching work this from [Applause] right in the frenchman's corner there that's another excellent accurate uppercut from shkitu anyone who thought this might be an easy night's work for sam eggington he's quickly realizing it wrote eggington fighting back now that's a good fight this isn't it really is but they're just even though he relishes this sort of contest it does feel like he too has the heavier hands out of the two feels that way doesn't it he's having the better of these exchanges [Applause] oh good shot there good right hand excellent round for the frenchman but now eggington fighting oh [Applause] [Applause] to the eye the face the end of when he got that left hook on the eye there you can see real grimace in his face [Applause] as well without chopping left to the body trying to have a strong finish in this round but this has been all right the frenchman on the front foot looking to cruise [Applause] just don't believe we'll actually [ __ ] so well the first sort of minute of the round and once you got the win back to his natural instincts to hold his feet they want to trade and back against the ropes you're always going to be the worst opponent see the grimace there with the left hook because it right down the eye i think he's split the eye i think a little bit but then [Music] [Music] [Applause] what a fight we've got here [Applause] [Music] just a step closer to an unlikely promised land of a big title shot but he's got his hands full now against dylan who knows that this could propel him somewhere especially i could work for meghan they're making sure to fall a little bit shorter than that enough not powerful but fast combination needed to make a good start to round five but then with a good bit of accuracy there as well [Music] the reason why there's there's so much explosive in his punches because he dips he's through and then he pushes off his feet there's all the power and the acceleration from his legs and he lets his punches go [Applause] he's being cheered on somewhere by captain benzema their good friends the french international and shkitis got a lot of associations with the rap scene in paris they both have and that's how they became friends benzema would be pretty happy now long way to go though welcome back gonna get away who's going to be the stronger he's doing well to be fair here she's too having really dark good right now because he haven't done much up until that point [Applause] having those pockets of success but every time he does [ __ ] responds with his own little burst good work again there from eggington and again that's better from sam eggington [Applause] first time he is the bully here and he starts to unload skittle with the response they're both giving this everything we're still only in round five it feels like wrong 25 doesn't it fantastic stuff so she's like she's lost a bit of energy all of a sudden within a second his body drained of energy and egg and he just came to life with a lovely little combination that's good work and then and that's the important part move the feet out he saw the punches [Applause] [Applause] really good really good right hand left hook and then when he had eggs on the ropes where he wanted him and england shouldn't have been egged and then came to life and it seems like she's just lost all his energy and eggers and maintains his and finish off with a lovely little burst of quality work [Music] [Music] the jab with a straight right hand when it's rising get close a quick body shot don't move [Applause] [Music] [Music] in his career experience of fights like this might prove to be absolutely vital he knows what to do he knows that he can dip into the well that's important for eggerton you can't do it forever but he knows he can't so he knows his limits where streets who might not know if he's yet at this stage of his career this would be the fight where he finds out if he has it he's strong he's tough he's known heavy-handed without being a koa artist but now we're getting into deeper waters here now with it everyone's been frantic pace and he just looked tighter than at the end of that role sam edington is seven and four in 12 round fights he knows he knows how to go the distance he knows how to battle his way through adversity a good job there though but there's the response there for megan doubling up with the hook eggington just starting to dominate he's having more success in round six than he's had in the fight so far [Applause] every time he's fought he throws a shot russell [Applause] the hip back [Applause] [Applause] his success followed by eggington's success is he starting to wilted [Applause] just give him the head there just to make him miss and come back with his own hook skill and guts and conditioning this is turning into well i think the eyes heard there from megan then again just packed up then he's got a [ __ ] back down a little bit and that's giving a little bit of confidence here but look at that [Applause] foreign of round six how are you scoring this at home certainly tight in the first half of the fight [Applause] [Applause] is on the job again i thought i thought you boxed really well in that role because he got caught with a couple of shots but for the most part for me i think he managed manage the wrong quite well moved around pick the shots and stay pretty safe second round [Music] [Applause] [Music] i'm not entirely sure what that was about but we'll leave how pivotal was that sixth round was it the moment sam eggington got to his work and started to take over just feel that it's shitty who needs a big round here it's just i just feel prescriptive it's just explosive of his work it's just waned a little bit [Music] good workout what makes him so watchable exchanging blues [Applause] having a bit of success but eggington responding really well now again like i said the explosion that's gone out to the frenchman's work and i think that just announced me the powers weighing a little bit and again they might be able to ride these shots a bit better good work for meginson again happy to sit on the road said good shot there from sk2 that's what he needed as well i might give a bit of a boost of energy there [Applause] [Applause] just feel that he needs some encouragement though because [Applause] both having successes now [Music] [Applause] blood coming here from the mouth [Applause] how are they sustaining this [Applause] let's case you in a strong finish to the round [Applause] [Music] what's up [Music] [Music] a little bit of success but again i just don't think you can maintain it enough and for me i thought again fox really well managed that role superbly but again it's just a hard man's fight isn't it again another negative fight was just purely down to grit and bottle and toughness second down and he drags you in with him he drags you in and forces you to fight this fight worked out what was going on in the corner his brother was there but uh you know he's back uh with the fans behind us and also they weren't happy in the eggington corner about the amount of uh of vaseline on shitty space but we've sorted that out now as well as they get back to work in this terrific fight for that wbc silver belt but it feels like it's for so much more [Applause] oh and again it's a solid shot he just started to get a second win the legs and eggington just sagged there skittles starting to unload here he feels this could be his moment look at this now though from eggington [Applause] this is just fantastic stuff it really is they're fighting to use the old alley frasier line for the championship of each other who's got the stronger will it's a fight you love to watch and you never want to be in [Applause] that's nice working there and again importantly like you keep saying then move your feet [Applause] not too much movement going on here apart from forwards work up close hard fight to score as well one or two clear rounds but a few you could argue about that yeah especially in the especially early four rounds [Applause] [Music] [Applause] he has a good responsibility to he got a fight on that come shield now the frenchmen are really working [Applause] [Applause] whole fans who get to their feet [Applause] but each time one has success the other man comes back with great work of his own foreign [Applause] close killing everything [Applause] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] again a great start to the wrong day from school to a really well solid run lovely combination and then second half of the second half of the of the round excuse and eggerson comes back excuse me comes back and it's just back and forth constantly he really is no no one will give any growth once that one has a bit of success either wants to fire back but they get another round two halves they're very hard to split and it's such a hard man's fight like all egg in the fight and scooter is certainly after their task i'm grateful for [Music] round nine four rounds to go [Applause] [Music] [Applause] is [Applause] [Music] [Music] scorecard [Applause] eggington in front but not yet definitively [Applause] [Music] it's sometimes the quieter part of the role he's being busy like this in the quieter part of the world that once they get caught a few shots they fired him back but for me i just think that was slightly the busier and again there's no point at the moment he's going to just pop the jab out through the right for all their worth they sense their man needs their help good job there for megan he's back on the back in the corner though gonna let his hands go [Applause] good shot everything exploding out of you just think you know he worked so bad in the fight that he had never been a fight like this before but at this stage of the fight wrong 10 you can let his hands go like that when he's been under pressure eggerton's used to this but this guy is not and he's shown to be up up after the task when egging to do the right thing he turned him but he's still the one throwing the quality left up it's jesus stopped throwing that so i've said it again so i'm throwing that solid jab that snappy jab it allows him to get a little bit more more rhythm and and vision to his work super right hand from [Applause] to get all the distance we were praising stevie mckenna for his volume of punching have been extraordinary just extraordinary they've never stopped coming forward that's been a problem have three more minutes to give something listen to me listen to me let's go [Applause] [Music] really is good stuff but again it's one of those fighters that's a good right hand to knock in the gum shield and just for me just been he thought like he was getting tired there as well the frenchman look at this here then after they're both after the exhausted here you know with a tire because their heads loose easy to hit back it's just fantastic steps look at this just toe to toe almost closed their eyes are swinging shots in you gave eggington round 11 so you having four up you have needing a knockout it has been a fantastic fight and we still have three more minutes of drama eggington just doing enough here too tough too durable just too much [Applause] [Applause] if he needs this final round because he might of course [Applause] [Applause] every time barry jones joins us on channel 5. we've got a fight of the year candidate what is it about him this is fifa it's because i was never in a good fight that's why it's [Applause] and this has been the theme success for one responded to instantly all the way through the fight and that's what made it so hard to score the rounds because neither one's dominating anymore oh good negative fighting well off the ropes there [Applause] forward [Applause] [Music] [Applause] a minute remaining this has been a fight for the ages [Applause] he has found the gayest of dance partners here in villas [Applause] here now eddington has surely done enough to win this last round unless she produces something special big right hand they stand and absolutely outstanding that was just a tough tough horrible fight which was just a joke to watch it really was [Applause] [Music] that's why we love this sport for all its brutality they're both chasing glory both chasing their future and here's the action from that final round let's just call it just if they look like you know exams having a good start of it then as always like every single round shitsu comes back with some real quality heavy hands and over hand right was a quality shot and look at this they finished the fight after half out of 11 rounds of a absolute wall of attrition they finished the last 30 sec 20 seconds going talk to talk so it was just fantastic really was they are extraordinary people extraordinary athletes examples to everyone you've got eggington by five it doesn't do it doesn't do the other kid justice but no no imagination yeah you should you judge you by a wrong by your own basis don't you but what a fight absolutely what just whatever they're getting paid it's not enough but it was just fantastic well paul is down there he's looking at those scorecards of course the longer that takes you always feel the closer it might be well remember you've got three judges three different parts of the ring so they see three different angles and that's why you have it like there is so three different perceptions of what what some of the work especially on the ropes how you see it so it gives an over it should then give an overall appearance of who's done the better in the ring [Music] still totting them up still making sure the thing is making his way in the ring he is it's just wrong if i say i hope it's a draw so we see it again i know what you mean i do know what you mean [Applause] now amidst the bedlam and the noise they'll call
