Proud to say that I met him at my basic training graduation in February of 2012. I didn't realize what an honor it was at the time, but I for damn sure do now.

I highly recommend the film Restrepo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restrepo_(film). It's on Netflix right now. The documentary takes place in the Korangal Valley and touches on Operation Rock Avalanche.
