SALE PENDING/Who Knew 1985 Albin 43 Trawler (with stabilizers!)

hi I'm Lars with Curtis Stokes Associates again I'm here in Charleston South Carolina looking at a beautiful Albin 43 trawler who knews the name of this vessel is 1985. Alban this vessel uh with its single Lehman 225 horsepower engine 500 gallon capacity West Marsh stabilizers and much more she gets great fuel economy she's a true Long Distance trawler and I don't think you'll find another stabilized trawler in the hundred thousand dollar price range so I'm going to take your board and show you around and I'll post more information in the descriptions feel free to contact me anytime with questions or to schedule showing who knew is in excellent condition on the outside and inside very well taken care of by her owners of almost 10 years you'll see the bright work he keeps meticulously the Tic Tacs have been removed um like any vessel this uh age there have been some water intrusion areas in the past but he's taking care of those and she's a dry boat look at that bright work very nice non-skid decks really nice windless has remote control you can operate it from the helm really nice hard top and like new canvas top of the line canvas too uh the canvas maker did a fabulous job and I'll point out similar reasons why when we get up there we have Smart plugs installed here instead of the the clumsy old cables that came with the boat everybody's familiar with non-skid looks like it was just painted I have a deck box and a nice large uh griddle on the boat get around to there shortly and a nice space on the AFT deck cooler axle has a dock box and is filled with lines you've got a gate and a stairwell down to the swim platform there are steps here and on the side of the cabin for going up to the fly bridge all right this nice stainless steel grill does convey nice griddle and enough room still on the deck for a dinghy which has got shocks to store a dinghy with or to set out some lounge chairs the rigging is in good shape steadying uh sale could be set on this this boat has a electric winch it's covered but uh so it does have a cable winch large fly bridge plenty of room here you can see excellent visibility through the really nice enclosure it's nice it's got things like uh flaps that cover the zipper polycarbonate or acrylic they fold up Crystal Clear View all the way around it's got a new Helm chair which looks nice and comfortable and Garmin sharp platter up here relatively new touch screen model and your gauges controls including new bow thruster controls here's your westmar stabilizer control behind this panel is the air conditioning for uh the main cabin 16000 BTU air conditioner unit there's another 8000 BTU unit in the app cabin pretty easy to get around enter into the side door here really nice city upholstery is in great shape serious table pedestal floors are in great shape and you've got a nice uh seti to Port a little table that can fold down this does have a little bit of a cracked formica it's just for Mica I would just maybe put a little solid surface right over top of it nice Helm here and we've got our air conditioner thermostat electrical Xantrex energy management it's got a nice little weather station this old eyelet autopilot is disabled it's got another autopilot that works well but the screen needs to be replaced a great little bench seat at the helm there with another door right out to the side right next to the helm you got the DC control panel battery switch AC control panel generator switch and Generator controls and down a couple steps see how beautiful these floors are all the woodwork in really good shape remember this is a 85 she shows better than many 95s I've been on it's no question why this boat's in such hot demand we're already getting many many calls if this is something you're interested in I wouldn't delay I don't expect her to be on the market for very long the forward cabin is a v-birth but it is a cabin you can come in close the door [Music] see how nice the woodwork is a hatch for ventilation LED lights hanging Locker custom sheets door latches there so there's a entrance to the forward part of the engine room here behind this uh steps but we'll we'll pull the floors up and look at the engines here shortly this Headliners in as good a shape as the rest of the boat if you look under the windows you'll see as I mentioned there are some areas of historical leaking these have all been attended to and she's quite the dry boat now down to the AFT cabin which I really love this the two post bed huh with the curtains drawn it's a nice quiet and dark area but you've got large windows on either side and the stern queen size bed truly a walk around nice little feature uh these cupboards here get you access to the running gear and they've been thoughtful enough to include a light there's a light on the other side too you can get access from either side of the bed [Applause] the master cabin has an ensuite head foreign and yes it's got a bathtub oh very nice there you go she's uh a fit boat for a couple or a couple couples with all the amenities and seaworthiness you need to go pretty much anywhere let's have a look at the engine room there's easy access to the engine room in the forward hatch there are other hatches that uh can come up as well to give you even more access [Music] new accumulator tank and water pump [Music] water heater looks new but I'm told it's not and this baby you can see a little oil dripping on the front end of the engine for a lemon of this age I think that's going to be pretty much the norm the engine looks to be well maintained all the maintenance records are available for the for the boat behind the engine there you can see the uh the manifold for fuel management the freedom 3000 watt inverter and the westmar stabilizer system there's your stabilizer there one charger for the engine batteries it's got a Xantrex to manage the power to the AGM and the lithium batteries that were added 200 amp hours of lithium batteries in the house many upgrades like that yeah see the uh see the listing for more details it's all in there 250 gallons of fuel tank on either side gives you a range of almost a thousand miles so she's got everything you need for Coastal cruising looping or Blue Water cruising and I don't think you'll find another stabilized vessel in this shape near a
