how's it going guys I'm actually out here today with my Saiga Saiga 12-gauge I want to kind of go through what I've done to get my gun to shoot low brass shells I know that's a problem a lot of people are having hopefully what I've done to mind kind of gives you some ideas of what you can do to yours to get it to shoot some some lower brass first and foremost I'll go through with all the accessories I've put on here first is my Trident door breach the only reason I really got that is because I thought it looked cool there's not really any special purpose to that then I have my utg quad rail and foregrip in here I do have my top 47 auto plug that auto plug there allows me to shoot high brass and low brass without having to make any adjustments so it's kind of nice not having to fiddle with that at all my sight mark sight my pistol grip you'll notice on my pistol grip I don't have any rivets there I kind of got lucky I found a factory converted pistol grip so I didn't have to do any trigger modifications you didn't have to move anything around and then just my cheap stock it's very similar to a tap go things made by Phoenix it's spring loaded so it kind of absorbs a lot of the recoil really helps so I can go out and shoot a hundred rounds without it beating me to beat me to hell by the time I'm done shooting now as far as getting it to shoot lighter loads first thing I did this i really recommend everyone do this first because this is really common with sega's they are under guest what you need to do is get in there and drill out the gas ports does the first thing I did and it made just a huge difference there's not a whole lot of information on how to do it out there I couldn't really find any videos if you want I can probably put together a video and just do a step-by-step on how to do it just let me know in the comments or whatever so that was the first thing I did and I also did some polishing you can see my my bolt is polished I'd win a little overboard on the bolt I kind of like the contrast look you don't have to polish the whole thing there is a video on YouTube I believe it's called making your Sega 99.9% reliable it kind of goes through everything in here that you can polish to really make it a lot more efficient and throwing out bird shots from there like I said it I was at a hundred percent failure to eject whenever I first got the gun once I drilled the gas ports and polished everything it put me at about a thirty percent ratio which is you know a ton better but I still I wanted to shoot all of them cycle all of them so for them there I went to Carolina shooters Carolina shooter supply and I know md arms and king armory they have setups like that they got a lowered recoil spring and a a new gas piston or - puck whatever you want to call it I know North Carolina shooters they are cops our Carolina shooter supply they offer a kit it's called the reliability kit comes with the spring the puck and the gas plug and things like 50 bucks really not a bad deal if you spend that 50 bucks and do a little bit of work internally really the 50 bucks is all you should have to spend to to get this thing to fire cheap ammo anyway I like I said I did this just hopefully to help you guys give you some ideas if you're trying to get yours to cycle Lite ammo I know mines been a little frustrating but I'm gonna put a few rounds through it now I got what I have in there is the federal just cheap Walmart seven and a half shot so far I've been pretty lucky with these since I've converted it let's see what happens one but that's not too bad who's at the end of the magazine I think I have another one loaded up over here well as you can see I'm still having a few problems nothing nearly as majors what I was having probably still a few adjustments I can make in there maybe a little bit more polishing it's it's you know kind of gives me something to do I know a lot of people get frustrated and disappointed but to me it just means I get to go home and screw with it and I have a reason to screw with it so but again if you have any questions if you want me to make a video on drilling out the gas ports just let me know and I can probably do a step-by-step on taking it apart and doing all that rock on hope you guys have a good one take it easy
