oh no hi everyone and welcome back to my youtube channel today we're going to be doing an unboxing of the safe life defense concealable enhanced multi-thread vest level 3a plus soft body armor originally I paid $4.99 at the time I did get a $50 discount and it was also 47 dollars for shipping to Hawaii I just checked before I'm making this video and now this current vest is at five hundred forty nine dollars now it was just a couple days shy of six weeks to get here I ordered the best on March 2nd and it arrived today April 12th so here's the vest very simple packaging like I said it did take the few days shy of six weeks because it is on backorder a lot of people are buying [Music] okay so here it is so the features of this vest is that it's bullet strike slash stab and special threat resistant okay so the difference between the three A+ and the three a is one the stab the level 3 a + is spike rated mij level 1 protection for up to 36 jewels of Stanford and the special thread resistant is that a defense against Liberty civil defense 9-millimeter armor-piercing ammunition and FN 0.57 by 29 40 green it also can defend against common handgun realms including 357 nine-millimeter 45 acp up to 44 Magnum the level 3 a + armor provides additional protection against shotgun rounds including double buckshot 12-gauge slugs and even high-velocity submachine gun rounds now you can add level 4 rifle please in the pockets that can withstand threats up to 30 odd 6 it's constructed with custom para iron in is full side protection 15% more so the surface area comes all the way around your rib area it is ultra concealable engineered for comfort and maneuverability and the inside is lined with cooling mesh liner as a 10-point adjustable width for comfort straps water resistant polyester carrier which will rip stop now and then a fortunate event that you are shot while wearing the vest they will replace it at no cost as long as the police report is provided during your five-year warranty as a five year manufacturer's warranty on all ballistic panels and plates and it also does have a two year warranty on all areas yes I'm gonna put the vest on for you guys so you can see how it fits and it's very light compared to what I'm used to ok so I am NOT law enforcement but I am ex-military and I was Army infantry and for the past 15 years I've been a bouncer and I also do contract personal escort [Music] so I've been in the security field for 15 years now and it's very comfortable and the military our vests are heavier enter either steel plates or ceramic plates you know that's three times the weight of this vest easy okay I'm six foot one and currently sitting at about 270 pounds 270 pounds of rocky road and chocolate chip cookies yes gets up so this right here is just a standard Dickies work shirt okay I use this shirt for when I do when I'm doing bouncing or you know just doing diplomatic security or whatever it may be so here's an example the shirt itself is a 1x the vest that I bought is a 2x but obviously it's adjustable to one fit to my body so this is a standard Dickies shirt and you can see how it fits [Music] [Music] now if a person is not really looking for the best you can't really help unless you're looking for it or you are in the industry where you know what it looks like and what to look for you can't help there's some side profiles can move freely in it doesn't restrict it and the men go on then no parcel movement [Music] and this is abrasive his hoodie you know this can be casual wear like I said I am six foot one about 270 pounds this would be considered casual active we're totally concealable you can't really tell unless you look good or you know what to look for no restriction of movement and it covers the vital areas and the bottom of the vest is not full where it'll restrict you if you're doing concealed carry either on your hip or appendix you know you still have enough room to draw your weapon if you have and lastly this is my m65 filled jacket [Music] yes it's a little bit more bad year and what does bagger more concealable now I don't know the exact weight of the vet but in my hands it feels around between six and eight pounds eating there much it's very very light compared to my my other my vest my battle bit the vests and plates alone is 25 pounds not even including any ammunition anything like that so this is nothing very comfortable very lightly [Music] so if you guys haven't yet once again this is safe life defense the one that I bought is the level 3a plus depends on what you're looking for when what you need it for but I suggest you guys check it out now the company does offer quad pain which is basically it takes the total cost and it splits it between four payments so there's no excuse for you not to get one I'm very happy with my best and I feel safer and confident when I'm at work now once again this is safe like the fit check them all and there's nothing
