Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I'm gonna need someone to explain why running on that treadmill turns people into the dude from QWOP.
"...to move my arms so fast so my feet could turn over fast...."
mada mada dane, runner-san.
For people who run a little: that is a 4:41 mile pace. For 26.1 miles. Oof.
I like how that high school kid said โI think a lot of people can do it, they just have to get in the right mindset.โ Yeah... I donโt think so.
The squishiness of that treadmill looks exhausting... oh, and uh... also the speed.
That's a really cool idea - now I just want to try it myself to see how poorly I'd do.
Feel like it would really help put into perspective how much better top athletes are at their craft than the average person.
This was at the expo the day before the Chicago Marathon this year. I briefly considered trying it, but the last thing Iโd want to do like 18 hours before the race is potentially hurt myself running really fast on a surface Iโd never run on before. But it is super cool, and Kipchoge can absolutely fly.
..What is wrong with these people and their arms? And why are they all tripping? Did they get a bunch of people with Polio to run on this treadmill or what is going on?
I prefer Run With Ryan.
Paints a better picture.
