I was really excited about this in the early 2000s. Nothing seems particularly "impossible" about it. It's not claiming any sort of "free energy" or anything.
Still, the creator adds doubt. He's had some crazy claims regarding aliens and such. But I like to think that doesn't necessarily make him a con artist. (Plus, I don't think there was ever any money generated with the idea)
Now it seems like the whole concept has dropped off the planet. The website featuring the hydrogen system is gone, and the UN site doesn't mention it.
Was it busted as bullshit?
I think advances in battery power have eliminated the need for the extra step of running the electricity through water, when they can just use that electricity to run the car in the first place, though I'm far from an expert.
