turning now to the latest in the YouTube mom case now Ruby Frankie's business partner taken a deal pleading guilty to four counts of child abuse in Ranna alley is here with the latest on this story good morning to you good morning DeMarco some really stunning admissions of abuse coming out of this case Frankie's business partner jod hilderbrand admitted to things like forcing or coercing a 9-year-old girl to jump into a cactus several times and that's not all at one point millions of people were watching The Duo on the popular YouTube channel eight passengers they had tough love parenting advice and now both women are headed to prison this morning an admission of guilt guilty guilty guilty jod hilderbrand appeared anxious in a Utah court before pleading guilty to four of six counts of aggravated child abuse hilderbrandt is the close business partner of mother of six and former mom influencer Ruby Frankie who's known for her tough and often controversial parenting tactics on her now deleted YouTube channel I'm only going to say it one more time and then you're going to lose the privilege to eat dinner just last week Frankie stood before the same judge pleading guilty to the same felony abuse charges with my deepest regret and sorrow for my family and my children guilty the friends turned codefendants often seen together in online videos offering life coaching advice for families I'm Jody hildbrand and I'm Ruby Frankie but it was Brand's home that Frankie's son escaped from in August climbing out of a window and running to a neighbor's house for help that led to their arrest I just had a 12-year-old boy show up here at my front door asking for help he's emaciated he's got tape around his legs that 911 call setting off a frantic search of Frankie's Home Police seen in this body camera video with guns drawn both plea deals give chilling details about how two of Frankie's children were convinced they were evil and that punishments were necessary to repent those punishments included hours outside in the heat physical restraints and being denied food and water Frankie alleged that Hilda Brandt brainwashed her into promoting some of those harsh parenting tips to Millions I'm not even going to let you eat breakfast until you get your chores done hilderbrand's attorney says she pleaded guilty to protect the children she takes responsibility and it is her main concern at this point that these children can heal both physically and emotionally and with both Frankie and hilderbrandt agreeing to a plea deal there will be no trial the court the state and the defendant oftentimes are going to look to see what is the best choice of action for the children involved no one wants to each of the four counts which are expected to be served consecutively but it's ultimately up to the judges ruling and guys they'll remain Behind Bars until they're sentenced in February truly disturbing details all right Ranna thank you well hey there GMA fans Robin Roberts here thanks for checking out our YouTube channel lots of great stuff here so go on click the Subscribe button right over right over here to get more of Awesome videos and content from GMA every day anytime we thank thank you for watching and we'll see you in the morning on GMA
