RPCS3 PS3 Emulator ISO Games Booting Fail Invalid File & Folder Fix

hello guys if you have followed my previous PS3 emulator tutorial video as shown on this screen you will have issue with the iso format games when you try to play the game you will get a error message it shows an invalid file or folder just like what I am showing on the screen right now in this video I will show how to fix this issue if you have received this error message the first step is to delete the current game folder from your steam deck just quickly switch back to desktop mode and delete the game folder The Next Step need to be processed on your Windows PC so here is my Windows PC screen I have this skit 3 game here this is a ISO format PS3 game I have put all the required softwares inside of this folder I will put this folder under my video description so you can download from there in order to play this game we need ird extension file so please make sure your ISO file always has its old ird extension file if your ISO file does not come with the ird file just like the skids 3 game I have here we can still download the ird file from this website the website is linked under the video description we can just type the game on the search bar and hit the enter key it will find the ird file for you we can directly download the file from here just make sure the ird file version is matched with your ISO file version now I will copy the ird file into the same folder with the ISO game [Music] foreign [Music] two softwares the first one is Patcher so run this software and then select the PS3 ISO file and the ird file then hit the patch button just click OK on the pop-up window and close the Patcher software then we need to use the second software which is called three keys 3y run the iso2 inside the 3k3y folder then click is or crypto select the ISO file this ISO crypto process will take a while to finish please be patient once it shows success then we can close it now if we go to the game ISO folder we will see a new decrypted ISO file has been created here we can now delete the old ISO and ird file all we need to do now is to use 7-Zip software to extract the ISO file make sure you use 7-Zip software here after the extraction is complete just click close after the extraction is done the game file is now ready to copy into the steam deck also we can delete the ISO file if you want now let's back to the steam deck and plug in the external hard drive go to the external hard drive and copy the skid 3 game into the steam deck SD card make sure the game is copied into the correct location on your SD card [Music] foreign [Music] process it finished we can unplug the external hard drive and then go to the email deck to add the game into the Steam OS interface I am not going to explain this process step by step here but if you want to watch the detailed explanation for this process please check out this video on my channel foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] now we can successfully boot it into this game the first time both will take some time to decode the iso format Skate 3 is now running perfectly fine on the steam deck please leave a comment below if you have any questions as always don't forget hit the like button and subscribe to the channel and thanks for watching
