Rock Rake'in

I got there for the Massey Ferguson and I got some free on for the 66 40 because our conditioner well what's due to cool all right so I was running this rock rake and I've been having this trouble here for a while and I've been just brainstorming on what to do about it but this thing is raised up and down by cable system you see the pool there's a pulley here the cable it goes over to a cylinder and that's what raises this thing up and down well we put a new cable on it and because this the cable had gotten frayed because this thing here is rotating obviously and the cable was extended when you let it down and what happens is this thing bounces any at all the cable will get loose and it'll come over here it'll just it'll Bend in the middle right here and they'll come over here and it'll catch this and stop this thing immediately and the slip push starts slipping then you got to cut the tractor off turn it get it unwrapped didn't even start again and you see it start doing it with this new cable it's already fraying it right here so this is a solution that I come up with I don't know if it's going to work but I took a piece of angle iron that's this is just angle iron right here you can see and I welded three cable clamps in it and I'm gonna tighten it I'm gonna put the nuts on it tighten it up and I'm hoping this thing this rigid piece will keep this cable from flexing over into this spinning device here so do I know if it's gonna work no I do not but I'm gonna give it a try cuz I'm tired of stopping every two minutes try and get this thing unwrapped so this is a cable [Music] and Reagan right or trouble did stop one time and I thought that it away from what grandpa thirsty dog I'm glad I got a cab they drive through this don't worry we'll stop Facebook so it looks like it's bending this and it's kind of cutting into the cable right there a little bit so that ain't good but other than that it's staying in good shape so I was like we know what to do about that right there but it's other than that it's working good we just rebuilt this rate we added from here out it was wore down all the way to here so we worked on it built this back up with a our 400 steel 3/8 thick and that helped the rate quite a bit you can see I've been making I got wind roads wind Road and wind rose and ice it's starting to look pretty good it's getting close enough I can start feeding it hopefully for too long just jump like it we're got a big rock right here I need to dig out anyway rock rock rock all right back to right look what I found actually it warned it lost this I had put it on this I put it around this right here around this frame and cable kind of keep the cable pulled over this way instead of getting into this and it worked until it until the cable finally broke will still this strap I only finally broke and I knew it would eventually cause that cable is just sitting out constantly yanking on the ward out there I found it alright so we're in the homestretch here now it's starting to rain and spanking the windshield oh bloody mess paint see very well but we're back in the field that we started in yesterday and I rewrite the whole thing and now I'm working around the outside breaking the rock back away from the edge so they can get to rock picker all it a little bit better and then we're gonna be done and we should start seeding if you don't rain too much it looks like it's starting to light back up we might get in here with the cedar this evening I don't know it's already getting late 6:20 they know good day and I mean there's a whole lot of rock so we got pretty played what we got would like to get the seed in the ground sets back in brain in and do it like what I can get to get this up so it's lesson plans anyway guess we'll see how all the next one day and yo I am today up the order
