[Music] howy folks welcome back to my YouTube channel I am your host the mighty Bjorn and today for you got a bit of a Robocop Rogue City tutorial I'm going to go over the information here for dealing with the motherboards how to get the motherboards the upgrading process the merging of chip sets the whole nine yards um It's actually kind of a complex but really cool little mini game they got here so to upgrade the auto 9 essentially you have a motherboard system uh which is then which is what upgrades the auto 9 handgun itself which I think is a good way to go because basically instead of it just being a cheap generic cheesy handgun that's really not very effective they've actually made it pretty much that the auto 9 is going to be a full game weapon weapon so to get the motherboards you're going to find them while outdoing missions uh you're going to find them in chests you're going to get them after missions and there's actually multiple different motherboards and each different motherboard has its own abilities and Etc and then what you have to do is you have to fill the motherboard with chip sets well the chips now the chips let's go over the merging because the merging is going to be really quick so basically to do this Auto N9 upgrading stuff um you're going to click the auto 9 tab okay now to for the chip merging you're going to take three chips here which I'll just pick three chips at random and essentially like here's the thing about this this doesn't really matter because I do want to put it if you look at each chip set it's got different directions your directions are these little tabs on the sides so right now I have basically a straight left right I have a straight up down in the middle and then I have what is called an omony which is all four directions and it's really random on what you're going to get um you know what let me show you hold on here a minute I will take a look so here you you know what we will go with a straight up down a straight up down and then we will go with a straight up okay now you would think when I merge this together I'm going to get probably a straight up down let's merge it and as you can see I got a straight down which I'm surprised I got a straight down I'm surprised it didn't turn out to be like a left or a right or left end right or an omy because when when it comes to the to the direction set of the chip itself it's just really really random there's from what I can tell there's absolutely no Rhyme or Reason see there I got an omine but I had two directions that I had no direction in whatsoever now the percentage here actually matters and I'll show you why in a little bit um I'll just merge some more chips here and just just to continue to show you that it is pretty much random on what you're going to get and sometimes yeah I'm getting some poor rules here uh so you know what let me go to skills I think it's engineering we'll exit this and just save the skill cuz earlier I was doing this and I was getting some pretty High Rolls I was getting like I was using 13s and getting like 22s which is good so the and even the percentage numbers are seem to be really random too yeah there that didn't turn out so good here we'll put that back in let's use a 13 and and another 13 and we'll merge see there I got a 24 so that was I I got real lucky on that rule right there but now let's go back to the chips itself so there's the PCB boards the motherboards and there is multiple motherboards you're going to find and all the different motherboards have different bonuses to make this quick and simple we'll go with the tutorial board and I'm going to reset the board to clean the board out okay so now when it comes to actually putting your chips in the board the direction matters and things of that nature and then there's also these bonuses here which sometimes they're a bonus but sometimes there's a penalty to them where they will actually affect like criticals and stuff like that so let's start with I want to go first off I got to have a connector pointing to the power source and then I want to be able my power source to be able to go up and I want my power source to be able to go down so now what I can put here is I can either put an omony in there or I can put in the direct points I want okay now for here I want the magazine capability bonus but I don't want this 5% penalty so what I'm going to do is either find a chip that is a straight down or in this case what I could do to get a 23% bonus to my weapon damage I could put this chip in or sorry this is to my magazine capability now this will lead to Nowhere this will lead to nowhere but I got that straight down so I got the power going in and then I got the penalty blocked off because it's not connected so now here I want it I need a down and to continue the chain I also need it to go right uh I need it to go right so we'll do this one and as you can see excuse me as you can see I ended up taking a 5% penalty which it it the the percental H the penalty percentage is going to be to all your numbers so to get this Auto fire mode I end up having to eat a five % penalty now what I could have also done is I could have put in a straight down so I can get this weapon damage bonus now I will lose out on the full auto mode and I will lose out on the armor piercing bonus but I also won't take any penalties now for here what I want to do is I don't want this 10% penalty so basically I'm going to go with a straight up down so I don't Branch off over here now for this one here to get this reload speed I just want to do a straight through I'll also get more the more Gore bonus uh but it will also prevent me from taking the penalty because we'll put an omony in here and as you can see I take a penalty but if I do either this one here where it's got a down but the down is a dead end or if I do one that's just a straight left right I can get that Mor Gore bonus so there we go there's my circuit board and I collect all these bonuses to whatever stat they modify which they're going to stat every uh change your your stats here on the side and then the stats they show you like magazine capability 23.0% that's how much of a bonus I got and actually that's from this chip right here same way with weapon spread and it even shows you the logos that you're looking for okay so say I want this this damage to be a higher percentage I could use this omin chip that's a 23% and still get that 23% to weapon damage now and you know it's it's all got to kind of connect and work together and that's how the boards work and the boards have different all the boards are different and then once you activate a board and get it all set up it will stay active but also the board will save so you can reactivate it later so there we go I just reactivated this board and and there you go it's shown the bonuses I was able to set up all these bonuses without taking any penalties but yeah so so I actually think I'm going to wrap it up at that if anybody has any questions feel more than free to ask I do pay attention to my YouTube so I definitely like if I see someone commented hey I got this question blah blah blah um I will take a look at it and try to answer it to the best of my ability uh it's I really like the way they did this I kind of thought the weapon upgrade system was going to be kind of generic like Terminator Terminator resistance was this is such a better system versus Terminator resistance because you got to tactfully figure you know where can I put this you know where can I put this mod to get the most damage without taking a penalty and you got to put a little bit more forethought into it uh but it it also still has that that chain effect like the Terminator resistance Port uh upgrade system had and actually if anyone's curious about that I also do have a tutorial on that one too that one's a lot easier than this one is now with all that being said realistically I recommend to people that when you collect your chips don't merge them I want to say don't merge them often you want to keep a lot of different types of chips laying around so that way you can maximize your play on your motherboards of where you put your different chips because yeah you know sometimes it's a real struggle to find the right chips for the right locations but anyway folks once again hopefully you all enjoyed this video and that you all find this helpful thank you very much for tuning in and have yourself a wonderful day
