Doubtfire well something's wrong my god the moment you mentioned my film career flies remake of the fly live right what is it no I don't know where the good is - flies sitting in a barn I swear to god I was on TV shy I'm on TV Yeah right yeah you were on TV we've never seen a fly they do that whole kind of well they don't do the dance like bees well bees do the dance where they come back to the hive going there's honey somewhere nearby baby i love you but first I'm gonna eat your air better mention your latest film okay yes which is Jacob the liar yes which isn't a righteous comedy unless I miss reading it it's a serious film and so it's more it's actually quite a tearjerker right in some ways I think there's a certain power to it because it takes place in a Polish ghetto in 1944 for a lot of people in America most people didn't know that before the camps people were confined in the ghetto and then sent to the camps so it's just basically there's one character who hears a radio broadcast and then one one piece of news and then he has he shares it with one person and it spreads like wildfire and then he has to keep going to it gives people things he's got a radio so he attended hence the title yeah and so you're playing that character and we've got little scene here and you're having to make up extra bits of news to or to try and keep people going let's just take a look at it the Germans don't want the Americans to take that you see so the Americans are in the war talk well they didn't say they were there personally I mean they have problems of their own they're fighting on another front but for now they're sending tanks thanks how many not many but enough in brand-new right off the boat from Chicago yes yeah how could you tell they're American well you'll get to know the difference you know American tanks it's a different noise entirely but the kind of moves clean yeah you can hear that your horns on the tank not the band the Jays be Jasmine they sent the Jazz Band to cheer up their allies thing to do to play serious because it's a harrowing subject matter the subject matter every day I mean yeah you have to kind of walk that line but when you talk to survivors they had a you know there's a very dark sense of humor to keep it kept them going now you've been over in this country or list in Scotland at a special weekend of young audience Jack Conway yes with Billy Connolly now is that a regular get-together of comedians in the highlands or a forced gathering you mean oh it's cold it was amazing fun to be the hewa Steve Martin myself there are other comics yes we had many people list so many but it was just a blast and you all kitted up in kilts and stop it yeah that's a comfortable piece of clothing like yes especially if you're going natural but they were surprisingly no for the for the locals who maybe had a drink or two in there certainly run a telephone it was a bit I mean after all but they were very sweet in there I ran this thing called the hill race which is a four miles or two miles up two miles down and they're I think they were shocked and he kept saying there was an announcer it was very sweet kept you know mr. Robin Williams has entered the race I hope he knows that this is a manly race on Conor to go are you prepared to run Robin I shall be slapping yourself later and where you come to you did you win the race where did I come yes I've finished about I think there were 40 40 people running maybe I was about 25th or maybe 20th I don't know I I was following a guy in a kilt going just keep going you buy no company do you still do any of that he used to slip into clubs and sort of occasionally pair there it's finding you know in New York because of the heat wave that all these animals are now coming down into the cities which is it's amazing to think of a bear on the Upper East Side a woman going don't wear fur just get in the cab come on do it yo smokey I got something for you yo Sookie okay I got some pure honey smokey come here talk to me back yo you and the deer bambigirl coming out to work with you we're trying you mean you just talk about things especially now about what goes on in the man yeah no I would also you want one serious question I'm a generally serious question we've all heard about Christopher Reeve over here and we've known that you've you've been there to help him out and he sometimes suggested look with a lot of financial help and certainly cheering him up yeah how is he doing and I mean he's doing better I think he's obviously he's been working he wrote a book he's acting directing doing everything he can yeah his daily state I mean that some days that are better than others I mean he still he's an extraordinary person yeah I mean I said last time we talked I said he's on a roll but he always is I mean other people who will go I like that but he's doing better so the build up your image is a good man but even Jamie client counter Christopher even then he's a good he's my friend of yours from where he's the Godfather of my son and I must always do good things for Thomas help him in any way possible he he is an extraordinary man and a great friend and I wish to be the same for him I mean I I've always tried to help him through but you know using humor and by being there for money needs it you know going to these benefits and things to just be there not necessarily perform at the benefit but just be there for him yeah okay Rosie fantastic talk to you but there may be some questions from the audience anybody here got a question for Albin okay yes yes I know you've won the Academy Award last year and I was wondering if it's their chance that you'll ever be hosting the award self the same chance of of Luxembourg winning the World Cup yes it hosts the Academy I was sort of there was was myself Alan Alda and Jane Fonda there's comedy heaven it's a very frightening thing because when I was hosting Gregory Peck actually came up to me when you're not going to grab your penis are you points I actually was that's why I'm answering your question I will never host I will be in the dance numbers though because I thank you I was only you tell me you played a lot of comic roles and as one of you tell me do you have a favorite comic yourself I went to see one of my favorites last night I saw Eddie is odd yeah that was great I mean it's wonderful because he does an amazing thing he he does this thing where he's doing Lenny Bruce but yet it's still him he can still he improvises in plays with it and it's extraordinary to see a comic finally play Lenny Bruce it's great yeah and so and you're recommending people go and see the show I am I guess I guess I just did go to magic acts and go it's not real I saw the rabbit before yes Clive is taking the sitting bailiff commercially actual legitimate love of AK another but no mean didn't made it a crass commercial plug but it really be not if you see the play eyes on you run to your chest for some reason no I can help you I can numb those the wonderful cooking show we have endless cooking then every show is a cooking show no but then it's effective a you could just cook something now well get some decent ratings let's do it right now let's get Marlon Brando cook and cockle van yes how did you first discover yourself as comedian discover myself it happened the actual answer is discover yourself is you
