We kinda had to go and stop by Bulguk Temple and stuff I didn't know Gyeongju was known for beef tho 2 pieces Dip it in ssamjang (Korean spicy dipping sauce) Not so good Wasabi for the last bite Beef can't go wrong with wasabi Buchaesal! (Top Blade) [Buchaesal (Top Blade)] It's like comb-cut sliced pork belly No more space on the grill But how does this get cooked so fast? It's already cooked Oh well, I need to try rare, medium, and everything Let me take the whole thing Huh? This is unreal It literally disappeared after a couple of chews. Super chewy and juicy, it melted in my mouth. Wrap it with myeonginamul (wild leek) They should make a good combination because salchisal is a bit greasy I told you It catches the greasiness Since I just had the greasy part, let's go with something less greasy I love how I can balance it out I'll go with hanging tender A rare piece Where are my medium-rare Right here and that's the medium Medium well done Argh.. I don't like it well done Wow this is truly rare I like its texture. Incredible Let me try the medium well done I used to like greasy parts way more than the non-greasy cuts. But now they both taste super delicious. I think my taste has changed This texture tho It's hard to describe Wasabi on top Wasabi actually tastes better with the greasy parts Salt is the best for hanging tender because the meat itself is super tasty. Can you see this fine grain? Its texture heavily depends on the grain It's chewy.. and... sigh.. It's hard to describe The next one is.. Saewoosal (Ribeye Cap)! It's actually one of the most oily cuts It was named after its arched appearance I can make a heart I will call this a heart meat instead of saewoosal from now on. It looks fantastic It tastes better when cooked a little longer Salt It's super tender How can it be this juicy? It's extremely juicy Next one is ansim (tenderloin)! I need to cook it longer for steaks This is pretty much a premium beef ansim steak! I am not sure if it's true but I heard this cut is used for beef yukhoe (tartare) as well I think it's okay to eat it raw This should be fine.
