hello it's great to be here at the M is the most prestigious TV award show in the world I I couldn't come last year which is a shame but still won remember thanks for that the press called it a major upset which means they thought I shouldn't have won I saw that they've asked me to give you some pointers on how to make a good acceptance feature and why as I say I've never made when I wasn't here still one though keep it short please keep it short particular if you're not on screen talent no wants to hear from a producer don't cry it's pathetic it's just an award and me again better than last year on it though funny yeah that was always on the card so let's be honest um this is the greatest award termini in the world there's no doubt about definitely definitely no no no doubt about that um think about the Oscars and the Golden Globes is I got film stars there with their jaw lines and chiseled looks making me feel bad but in this room I'm probably I'm not being fact I'm probably above average oh that just just I mean did system yeah definitely I can have a guy at the office because I'm executive producer whatever that means um our town it means it means I created the show so I stay at home wait for the checks to come through oh yeah yes syndication come on and they said all syndications not what it used to be I went now take another look audit right that joke just for the 5,000 people in this room not for the 5000 people watching at home Wow haha a piss stop - two networks in one minute that is good going for me let's have a look at the nominations Mel Gibson come on no I'm not never going he's been through a lot not as much as the Jews so they've flown me over for the big one this is um outstanding directing for a variety special okay so good job this is live because if it wasn't this would not make the Edit definitely um a couple of these aren't if they're even working they did you've got an Emmy what you do I just stay in the truck probably here are the nominees for directing in a variety special not even a clip package I just got to read them thus this is disrespectful um Don Misha 84th Annual Academy Awards Lewis Jay Horowitz the 54th Annual Grammy Awards another one louis c.k this is ridiculous [Applause] Louie CK live that we can clear if he wins this he's a better comedian than me if not we're Swiss see we'll see and the Emmy goes to what who's that I'm an atheist and that worried me [Applause] I hope it's Louie now because he's amazing Sarris the other ones but I feel bad I see and he only goes to Glenn Weiss [Applause] Thank You well done and well done to everyone in that category especially Louie the second best comedian in the world hello I lost again that was good 21 times 21 times I've been nominated lost 19 it's like a cruel joke it's like they're going oh you're great am i yeah come over but not if you're brilliant a light now no you're not you're not so good well done to Jim Parsons though I would have her to won it but you know also I've come a long way he's probably local it's just and it's like four years in a row it seems unfair doesn't it well speech you're not going to get to hear that so myself and I can do it good I could do it yeah yeah it won't make sense now though haha i won I knew I would because I am the best actor see better than those other actors Parsons Cheadle H Macy Joey from friends and Louie from Louie spout slightly differently look at their stupid faces thank you to the Emmy voters who are never wrong well we know that's bollocks now so when you're off alone long way they let you do the big one okay this is outstanding writing for a variety special
